The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable.

Nice old hotel. The place at the edge of an industrial area is a little strange, but a beautiful park before it. The room was well in order and in style furnished and sanitary was ok. All was present. You walk from the hotel so the city. We had a good meal at the reception at the recommendation of the lady, because it was not possible at the restaurant at the hotel. We were here 1 night and did not use breakfast.

Was very concerned having seen the bad reviews on here, especially as travelling with small children. However we were quite impressed and left happy. The location is great, with a regular air conditioned bus every 20 mins. The staff were very friendly, and the facilities were all new. The swimming pool was good, and the bar / restaurant. The busy road is closed off by a newish fence so wasn’t concerned about the children’s safety. My only negatives were that the pitches were very small, could just fit our caravan and awning on, but there is a car park just across the road (less than 1 minutes walk). The other negative was the cockerel that started about 3am, however if we turned our fans on in caravan this would cover the noise up. In summary, we would definitely stay here again, San Sebastián was amazing and felt like Rio de Janerio, spot on beaches and good surf, the kids played all day. Because the site is so close you have to expect it to have small pitches, and they can’t help it if neighbours keep animals. I think a lot of the buildings seemed to be recently refurbished too, it was all good.

Akellare is among the nicest properties I have had the grateful opportunity to visit over a full lifetime of travel. It's architectural character is itself a stunning fit to its environment, but the architectural restraint featuring the property's landscape, allowing and yielding to Atlantic views framed across the Basque country seaside is brilliant in all ways, sight, smell, sound and touch. Akellare allowed me to feel the quiet, and its correspondent peace. The staff at Akellare are sincerely warm, kind, attentive to any and all needs making me feel not only cared for, but wanted. And the restaurants need no comment beyond their historic acclaim, other than to say the dining surpassed even those highly lauded expectations. Akellare is a pinnacle experience, there is none like it. My sincerest thanks and appreciation to the Akellare staff, all of them, for creating such a special experience, and to Relaiscand Chateaux for helping to bring that magic to reach around the world.

Located in a very good area,outside you can park free without problem,the rooms/apartment are very well equipped, pleasant and clean.All the services of the very good facilities, especially the gym. The penal is very careful and pleasant.

The front desk has long processing time, work efficiency needs to be improved, the room is clean and tidy, the facilities are basic, and the traffic is not the most convenient. In general, the price matches the room.

In July 2023 we were travelling around in Spain without much of a plan. That is great of course but also comes with some challenges. For example, we ended up in San Sebastian during a festive week without any hotel reservations. Not our best idea as most hotels were fully booked. Luckily the Hotel Antik had one room left, so we decided to book the room as the reviews were pretty good. The hotel lobby is neat and looks up-to-date and the hotel is nicely located just outside San Seb. Enough public transport to take you to the city center. After arrival we first checked out the room... Well... That didn't meet expectations to say the least. The room was very, very old and falling apart. It was noisy (think the noise came from the elevator?), the toilet was standing loose on the floor and the water kept running, dirty shower curtain... I honestly don't know how (or when) they got a 4 star grading or such a good reviews. Maybe we just had the worst room in the building but I don't think it is worth the money unfortunately.

Personnel très gentil parlant français et anglais. L’établissement était bien situé il y a pas mal de bus à côté qui vous dépose en ville et à la gare routière directement ce qui a facilité nos déplacements. Se trouve à 10mn à pied de la plage. Se trouve à 10mn du funiculaire. La literie était très bien on a bien dormi dans un king size. J’avais demandé un lit d appoint pour ma fille de 6ans elle a eu un vrai lit d’une personne très confortable et c’était gratuit. La douche tait propre. Dispose d’un mini frigo très pratique. Il y a un coffre fort et une armoire. Nous n’avons pas tester le petit déjeuné c’est 13€ le buffet, 5€ le déjeuné continental ( 3 truc café , 1 viennoiserie et un jus) Il y a un parking devant l hôtel et un peu en bas. C’est 4€ de la journée.
