I stayed nine nights at SENTIDO Æquora Lanzarote Suites with my husband, our three children (ages 16, 14, and 8), my sister's family (including her children, ages 2 and 1), and our dad. We usually opt for all-inclusive stays in Playa de Los Pocillos annually but have never visited this hotel. We were assigned three junior suites: two on the ground floor near the splash pool and one on the first floor (18 steps up) for my elderly dad and son. I would rate this hotel three out of five stars. This review provides an honest account of our experience. Check-in Experience When we arrived at 8 pm, there was only one staff member at the front desk handling check-ins, so we had to wait in line. The lobby was impeccably clean, bright, and welcoming. The staff member was polite but distracted, frequently interrupted by phone calls and colleagues needing assistance. Soledad, his boss, intervened several times and seemed dissatisfied with his performance. At one point, he disappeared into the back office for over 5 minutes, disappointing after a long day of travelling. Overall, the check-in experience was not very welcoming, and we were underwhelmed when we finally reached our rooms. Room Quality The rooms were excellent—extremely spacious and perfect for our family. The beds were comfortable, and daily housekeeper service was available. At check-in, we could opt for less frequent housekeeper service if desired. Free Wi-Fi was available in all rooms. However, the air conditioning was not enormously powerful, and the room could have been cooler. I have experienced better air conditioning in other hotels. The room had two sleeping areas, ideal for giving our older son his space. The main downside was the communal open bathroom area, which offered no privacy for toilet use or showers. I had to ask my son to leave the room while showering since dressing had to happen in the open. While we managed, the lack of privacy in the bathroom would not be suitable for travelling with friends or children's friends. It was an unusual setup I had never encountered in a hotel. Customer Service The animation staff at the hotel were exceptional. They tirelessly provided entertainment from early morning until late evening. Our children thoroughly enjoyed the kid’s club and especially loved the mini disco. Enes, who ran the kid’s club, was fantastic. He went above and beyond to ensure all the children had a wonderful time. We are grateful for his efforts and the enjoyable experience he created for our kids. Sadly, the remaining staff significantly impacted my rating of this resort. The rudest staff I have encountered in all my years of travelling. No staff member stood out for their friendliness or effort to enhance our experience. Many were rude and diminished our experience. The resort's size affected the staff, making guests a low priority. My daughter and I spent a great week at Hipotels La Geria. The Hotel is attractive and has a beautiful pool. It is in a good location, just across the road from a huge sandy beach and only a few minutes walk to bars, restaurants and local shops. Puerto del Carmen centre is only a short bus ride away, too, if you want more. The Hotel itself was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was also clean and comfortable, with a good size bathroom, plenty of wardrobe space, fridge and a free to use safe. We were half board and found a huge choice of food available for both breakfast and dinner. We arrived late in the evening on our first day and although the restaurant was closed, they had put some cold meats, cheese and fruit out for us to eat, which was a welcome sight! We were warned that they were doing some building work on the Spa during the day, which is located near the pool but we weren't bothered by any noise or dust etc. when we used the pool. All in all, a lovely stay and we would definitely go back.

our stay at the Riu Paraiso was perfect foe my partners 60th birthday , which we knew it would be as we have stayed there before , ALL staff were pleasant and friendly , cleaning was exceptional as always , no problems at all with anything , i highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is wanting a excellent hotel with good food and friendly and pleasant staff and perfect location , we will defiantly return and can't wait for our next visit , a Big THANK YOU to all the staff at the Riu Paraiso , your hard work is very much appreciated

Well its the second visit within 3 years the last time being Jan 2023 and i was hoping the hotel would of sorted itself out with its food choice. My last review was titled ”not telling porkies” and nothing has changed.So we will get to the positives first. Clean big rooms Good choice of english speaking channels on the TV Nice friendly helpfull staff. Location right opposite the beach and only a small walk to local pubs and restaurants ( which you will be thankful for if you decide to eat in the hotel) Now for the negatives. No matter what day it is the hotel manages to serve PORK in different versions on every evening meal...pork chops, pork loin, pork stew, pork burritoes , some sort of sausages made with.....yes you guessed it PORK! I was there for 10 days and the only time i saw BEEF on the menu was on the wednesday evening...so take note of that. Chicken was also served but the cheap parts thighs , legs and when breast was served it was cut so thin and fried that it was as dry as the surrounding landscape. So my advice would be to stock up on a double full english in the morning and eat out at night. Now for the important stuff the...BEER...the only beer availble is the local beer TROPICAL...which is very nice but can bloat you. It would be a good idea if the hotel would stock some bottled beer that could be purchased outside of the all inclusive. And finaly as an extra negative for this year half way through my stay...when taking a shower...the water temperature would go to scalding then cold on frequent occasions. I and other guests raised this concern with management..to which the answer was its an EXTERNAL problem....i mean what does that mean. So my advice would be do not go all inclusive if you decide to book. I was travelling with a large group on our annual january holiday and just went with the flow when this hotel was picked again...but in future i will be swimming in the opposite direction to this hotel

Still at Montana but had to write on some issues on this visit. Lighting around tv and around the Sofa not working from mains switch. Told at reception Nicolas was not fixing these for some reason so very dark at dusk and need a reading light for reading. Should be heating available in winter months but told some like air con so up to maintenance if they switch. I’m not holding my breath for that one as tall maintenance guy very grumpy and sometimes rude. He also insists on hosing the new sunbed cushions down every morning as although the outer covers are waterproof the inner sponges are sodden, and remain sodden all day. Even too heavy to lift from the beds. Yes wipe down, but not hose, as they will not last 6 months Towels are very worn now too and don’t dry as should so need replacing as there should be maintenance schedule for them in respect of shelf life. Very big plus is the cleaning, bar and reception staff who go over and above, always polite and helpful. 5 star.. Costs for September stay up 40% although it’s the other side being upgraded, as although costs have risen over the past year seems very excessive. Be pricing themselves out if not careful. All that said we come 4 times a year spending over €9000 so must be a lot of pluses.

This was our third holiday at this hotel where we’ve always book a room overlooking the pool. We find it comfortable and adequately stocked with cutlery etc. We were half board and found the food good with plenty of choice. The dining room can be noisy at times if there are families/large groups of people but that didn’t matter to us. The pool is heated salt water and is large enough to get a good swim even if there are plenty of others enjoying themselves. It is very well situated near to lots of bars and restaurants some of which have evening entertainment. We visited The Guinness Tavern on three nights where they had some good singers and showed live football and another at Marcos. The staff are very friendly and the rooms cleaned every day. We were very happy and the weather was perfect.

Having stayed previously in a Diamond Resort complex on the Costa Del Sol we were hoping that Club Del Carmen would offer the same standard of accommodation and it did not disappoint. This is a fantastic small complex in a quiet area of Puerto Del Carmen literally across the road from a fantastic sandy beach. It is a short walk along the coast (5-10mins) to the start of the main ***** but there are bars and restaurants closer. The on site Baily Bar does fantastic quality food, well worth staying on site and having dinner here. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa which has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs, one bedroom opens onto a terrace with sun loungers. Upstairs there is a living and kitchen area, another shower room with WC, and a balcony with table and chairs. The kitchen has everything you need including a dishwasher, kettle, coffee machine, hib and oven and large fridge freezer. Plenty of equipment to self cater if you want to pans pots cutlery etc. The apartment also has iron and ironing board. Spotlessly clean and well maintained. The on site pool is small but the complex is small and the pool never felt overly busy. The sunbed booking system is great means that there's no mad rush. Never an issue securing beds but the complex is so small most people seemed just to bathe on their patio or balcony.. Also the option to have freshly baked pasty and bread delivered to your room is something we used every day. Overall it's a brilliant complex with a great on site bar and restaurant in a fantastic location. All staff were very helpful and friendly and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this complex. It was brilliant.
