In fact, I did not choose the hotel myself for I went to Spain joining a tour group so this hotel was picked by the travel agent. However, I was so surprised by the high standard of the room that I would say it was the best among the ones we have stayed throughout the trip. The room is really spacious and comes with a big terrace with a nice view. It was a treat to stay in the room after a long day of sightseeing and travelling around in the area. I do understand while the hardware is vey good, perhaps the service of the hotel may not be of the same level. This was the first time I came across a hotel that offers breakfast that starts at 8am. Since our group needed to start early the next day, it was under long and difficult negotiation by our group tour leader that in the end, they agreed to start breakfast at 7:30am for us. The breakfast buffet did offer a good selection, and I particularly liked the good variety of fresh fruits. All in all, it was a good stay in this hotel.

A tarifa do estacionamento do hotel é bastante alta.
My boyfriend and I stayed for two nights at the Saylu Hotel, which is outside of Granada city centre. Many hotels in the city centre were booked out for Semana Santa and the remaining hotels available did not have ensuite bedrooms so we booked to stay here. I am glad because staying close to the festivities in the city would have driven me crazy! Saylu Hotel was a 40 minute journey from the bus station using public transport and there is a bus, the S2, a short walk from the hotel, which brings you to the city centre in less than 20 minutes. The La Alhambra is a very short taxi drive away for a little under €8. The hotel is basic and a bit dated as mentioned in other reviews. It was, however, very clean. The receptionist and cleaning staff were all very friendly. A breakfast buffet is available at €4.50 / person and we enjoyed our breakfast and the amount of choice. Our bedroom did not have air conditioning or a fridge. The room did get very hot at night and my boyfriend did not want to sleep with the window open as there was too much noise from the motorway. I would suggest to guests coming in spring and certainly in the summer to insist that they get a room with AC and a fridge when making a booking. There is nothing much of interest in the area around the hotel, except for possibly the huge shopping centre. The hotel is much much cheaper during off peak seasons and I am sure the price is what makes it very attractive. For a budget hotel, it ticks all the boxes.

GGuest UserExcellent stay in all aspects:
- spectacular service, continuously attentive and service
- the outdoor terrace to take some air-ski with an impressive view and very good letter
- Many very well-placed areas and with a lot of charm for between hours.
- Most complete and good quality breakfast
- The rooms with good air conditioning and no detail was missing
- We used the sports massage service that was offered and was francly good and professional.
- The only thing you could put as a stick is that it is not at a reasonable distance to walk to the pradollano, but they supplied it with a magnificent transfer service and with the chair at the door of the hotel that gets you very quickly.
- Also, you can go out and get in skiing from the same door of the hotel.
GGuest UserNoisy, noisy, noisy. We had read reviews that this place was noisy but no way was I expecting this. We were on the -2 level, below the restaurants and lounge area. It is impossible to get to sleep whilst people are moving chairs, tables and trolley above you. On weekends this can go to the early hours, only to be repeated again at 6am when they get the restaurant ready for breakfast. Add to this the paper thin walls and doors and you can hear the neighbors in the bathroom next door. People walking outside the room as if there wasn't a wall there. Room are extremely small and badly designed, not only is there next to no light, you can't open the wardrobe doors as the bed are in the way. The lounge area is very nice to hang around in when not skiing but service here is a bit hit and miss if you want a drink or tapas as the staff cant be found when you need them. It is the only area where you get anything decent wifi wise as it is next to useless in the room. This is not a four star experience. which is a pity because the potential is there. Location right on Plaza Andalucia is perfect.
GGuest UserWe have just spent almost a week at the hotel- our 3rd time in the recent years. It is great for people who like nice views, proximity to the ski slope and buffet food. Half board is always a great option for our family - dinner between 8 and 10.30pm works for us and there is plenty of choices - healthy, meats, fish and more plain kids options. The previous 2 times we stayed over Xmas and there was lots of seafood which normally is more pricy but the hotel maintained low dinner prices (13 euros per adult with tap water) so people staying outside the hotel were flocking on Xmas eve and the following day while some other restaurants were closed. The room rates are very competitively priced and unlike similarly priced self catered apartments in the area, there is plenty of common spaces with comfortable sofas and even a games room. The on-site ski rental shop is also a massive plus and again the prices are very competitive, actually cheaper than in the centre of Pradollano. We have not used the spa/ massage facilities as these actually are expensive in my view. The hotel is quite big and has lots of maintenance needs but I always see that the management prioritises within financial constraints. For example the old ski lockers do not bother me as they are functional. The cleaning quality is always top notch even though some people may be discouraged as terracotta tiles in bedrooms and bathrooms have old age marks. Overall the hotel has a feel of a large alpine chalet, rather than a modern business hotel.
