A simple room which could be improved with better lighting. A decent size with a table and chair. The bathroom was adequate and yes the shower needs to run to warm up. Merida is a lovely place with lots to see and do. Lots of restaurants and one I enjoyed was La Mafia, if you like Italian food. There’s also the Temple of Diana and the river with a beautiful old bridge for a pleasant stroll, all very picturesque. Breakfast was average but adequate. I’d stay here again as it was a budget option and it was very convenient as I was on the Via de la Plata pilgrimage.
We choose this hotel because we already where there. Nice hotel with a very helpfull and friendly staff and a good restaurant. On our arrivel early in the afternoon we got already in the entrance a “strong smell of the sewers” who you could smell in the whole hotel and this until the other morning. We used the restaurant service on our arrival, and also in the evening, then we got our second bad experience, there were arrived 3 coaches with Chinese tourists, in total 101 of them. We got them in the room next door and it seems to us that they were remodelating the complete room, they moved with the furniture for about 3 hours, then in the restaurant they were more than noisy, they do not have any respect or education at all, lucky for us the staff has moved them into another room for the breakfast in the morning, they arrive with thermoses and bacpack to fill them with drinks and food for the day, we have this experience from other hotels where we had also Chineses in the hotel. So for this time a sad experience into the hotel, lucky for us that the staff is so friendly- Very important, this is the second time we are going there, so do not follow the “Gps” on the “Avenida Reina Sofia 78, 06800 Merida, Spain” - he wil send you into the other direction, comming from “Badajoz” just follow him until you arrive in “Merida”, look out for the sign of the hotel, and drive always straight in front, passing so several roundabouts, and this will lead you into the industrial area of Merida, just follw ahead and you will see the hotel on your right hand side when the road is going uphill.

Madrid drove back to Lisbon over the hotel. The hotel is very cost-effective, with free parking, about 15 minutes to the restaurants and shopping streets in the town centre.
The stop is an interesting point to spend a night.
Don't forget that it's not a hotel.
Parking and breakfast are separate, with prices exorbitant, but it is very comfortable to stay in a park covered with acceptable spaces.
The staff are very good.
The location of the pool is not the best, and it does not reach sun in the afternoon.
The garden is funny.
The room is normal, the bed is comfortable, the towels were clean.
Unrememberable experience, though it is a very nice city to explore!
Liked · This was such a lovely hotel, we really enjoyed our stay here. The room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, the window shutters blocked out noise and light and meant a good night's sleep. The pool is enormous, plenty of sun lounges available. Quite a few places nearby to have a drink or food, plus a big Carrefour behind the hotel. Plenty of free parking available just outside or nearby. It is a way out of the main tourist attractions, so it will take about 20-25mins to walk to the Alcazaba. Disliked · Would have liked to have a fridge to keep some cold drinks
Very comfortable room. Location excellent on Plaza Espana in centre of Merida. Very good breakfast. Good variety of food on offer. Staff very competent and friendly. Rooftop pool helped us cool off after day of sightseeing. Did not use hotel valet parking service as considered price too high. Hotel reception staff were more than happy to show us suitable location for free on street parking, which worked well for us.
The hotel is very comfortable and clean. The coffee shop is very pleasant and has a fantastic terrace with barbecue.

Temple of Diana
沈沈福成Medieval Evura has ancient city walls, in Evura stands the Diana Temple, it is one of the best preserved temples in the Iberian Peninsula, here the daily is really blue, very beautiful country
Museo Arqueologico de Arte Visigodo
十十字小溪-YThis museum is very small, not far from the Diana Temple, free to visit in Plaza de España in Merida, the collection is mainly Gothic cultural relics, because there is no English introduction, can only be guessed.
Albarregas Roman bridge
十十字小溪-YKnown as Little Rome, Merida is one of Spain's most beautiful ancient Romanesque cities, and the ancient Roman bridge spanning the Guadiana River is 792 meters long and has 60 granite bridge arches, making it one of the longest bridges built by the Romans at the time. The bridge has the famous emblem of Rome, the "mother wolf", which contains the connection between Merida and Rome, Italy. Pedestrians can pass on the bridge, but vehicles are not allowed. Walking on the bridge can see a new bridge not far from the river.
Basilica of Santa Eulalia
娜娜家大王It is worth seeing inside. The structure of the arched stone pillars is more historically precipitated, but from the perspective of the building, this church is worth it. If you buy a 16-euro pass, you still need to pay 2 euros to see it, otherwise you can only see the basement, the basement is very general.
