Best Las Palmas Hotels

I nearly cancelled my reservation for this hotel due to poor ratings so when I arrived my expectations were low. To my delight, as I entered the hotel, the decor was tasteful and it smelled great. Front of house polite and helpful (though we did have to wait until 3 for our room so if you are hoping for an early check in do pay for it). While we waited, we went for a walk and then chilled by the roof plunge pool. The sun loungers by the pool are excellent quality; however, at the weekend you are lucky to get one (there are only about 12 available). Upon entering the neat and compact sea view with a balcony room (415) all was as I expected, comfortable bed, decent pillows, good quality shower (no shampoo so bring your own out buy at the local supermarket). I’d read reviews moaning about the lack of hangers - I’m on the island for 21 days do have lots with me. I requested more at reception and a maintenance man came and adjusted the wardrobe within minutes. Bathrobe was absent from my room so again I requested one and it was quickly provided. The view is exceptional from the spacious balcony which has functional table and chairs but no loungers. The room was incredibly quiet. Breakfast is a steal at 10€ PP. We are vegetarian and there was plenty for us to enjoy. In your room the coffee is refilled daily (you may need to ask for this) there is a coldish fridge (better to go to the shop across the road is you like cold items). Would I return, yes. This hotel is in a superb location with lots of interesting places to see and a relaxing beach opposite. My husband’s view is, if you love the beach but not too much heat, give the north of the island a try as it will be perfect for you. Cocktails around this area are around 5.5€

We were on the floor 5, view of the sea to the right of a small balcony. We were given a choice of twin or king room, we choose king as the room was slightly larger. Lovely comfy beds, tea, coffee and kettle, steamer..much better than an iron, safe, plenty hanging space for clothes, good large tv. Separate loo with a proper door to the floor, thank goodness. Good rain shower, with separate shower, toiletries. We had breakfast one morning 12 euros 💶, but well worth it, amazing selection of hot and cold food, pastries, fresh bread, great fresh orange juice and coffee. Staff were very friendly too from reception greeting you every morning to the cleaning ladies. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Only thing it lacks is a swimming pool, theres a fantastic rooftop bar though, with lovely views of the beach, beer 🍺 was a good price for a hotel bar too. Location was great, in the middle of las canteras up a wee street about 50 yards. Deffo value for money 💰

We spent 8 nights at the Hotel Catalina Plaza Sostenibile in Las Palmas De Gran Canaria. The Hotel facilities are excellent; the structure is new and well maintained; the position, in the proximity of the main bus stations and the Playa De Las Canteras, makes easy to reach any point within the city and to move to other location in the island. The only remarks I would like to make are 2: the first one is the absence of a refrigerator in the rooms, the second was the inability of some staff to provide useful infos about restaurants and Touristic Info Points. Apart from these points we had a very comfortable stay at the hotel. A special and huge thanks to Miss Stephanie whose “problem solving” capability helped us a lot during our holiday.

I booked at the last minute and when I arrived they already had my booking and room keys ready. The hotel was conveniently located, rooms were smart and comfortable, service was friendly and efficient! I only stayed for one night but it was perfect for my needs and great for a solo traveler.

I am happy to my stay with Secrotel Hotel Praque. I book it after checking reviews from other travelers comment. Yes, price is good and to it's location, it is close to shopping centre, restaurants and supermarkets. Staff are helpful. Buffet breakfast is good. Breakfast restaurant is on the top level of this hotel, we can enjoy stunning ocean view and sunlight while having breakfast. It is bonus. However, a minor thing I like to share is during busy morning especially when restaurant is full house, it always running out of coffee cups, juice glasses as well as cereal bowls. I cannot have to wait a long while for these 3 times from my 5 days breakfast. Maybe hotel can put some signage to suggest guests be eco-friendly minded to re-use glass, cup and bowl when refill. As I have seen some have 5 -6 cups and glass on a table. Bed is comfortable, room is clean with basic things you need. Yes, no electric kettle, no slippers as standard 3 stars hotel do. So, I have no complaint. There has no more noise from constructions, as this is my concern after reading other travelers comments in the pass. So I think all is done. Hotel locates next to taxi, bus station but not close to beach area. It's no problem to me for this winter travel. I am very happy for all. Definitely recommend it to others.

The location is excellent, just beside the most lively beach in Las Palmas, there is nothing nearby. The nearest bus stop is just two steps away. The bus on the island is very developed. It is very convenient to go anywhere. The hotel is on the left. A large supermarket, daily necessities, fruit is still very cheap, it is closed at nine o'clock, pay attention in advance, because it is very close to the beach, swimming and sun is also very convenient. The room is very spacious, the two of us have anything to put, the bed is not too narrow, the bathroom is very spacious, and the cleaning is very clean The front desk is very welcoming and will say hello every time you enter or leave the hotel. There are not many types of breakfast, but there are some, fruit and meat, various bread, egg, ham, sausage, coffee juice, it is worth mentioning that there are freshly squeezed juice and yogurt, very good to drink The hotel has two terraces for sunbathing and the scenery is great. There is also a dj performance at night, but unfortunately it has not been completed. The hotel also offers free parking, which is very convenient for people who rent a car around the island. The only thing is that not all rooms are sea views. We stayed at the interior this time, but fortunately there is a terrace. When booking, remember to note the sea view room, and there is a strange smell in our room. It’s basically gone for a day.

We loved our stay at Hotel Catalina. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the location was perfect. There were cute coffee corners and places to sit both inside and outside. The beds were so comfortable and the extra for a view over the park was totally worth it. 100% recommend for a visit to the city. As a bonus the open top bus stops right at the park in front we found it great for a look around.

FABULOSO!!! PERFECTO!! SUPERO MIS EXPECTATIVAS!! Era un viaje muy muy especial con mi sobrina para mi, y ya cuando lo elegi estba segura había hecho una buena elección, pero la Atención tan personalizada y con tanta amabilidad se agradece!! Nos alojaron en Habit. 101, solo decir FABULOSA!! ESPACIOSA, LUMINOSA, tienes de todo, súper limpio y cuidado! Estuvimos súper cómodas y las camas un lujo x descansar y la habitación insonorizada, no se oye nada de calle. Qué decir? Cndo vuelva a Las Palmas, ya sé donde me volveré a alojar!
