Unusual experience last night at the Fonda Europa. After a hard day's work and after having something to eat, I go to Reception to be assigned the room that I had reserved for days. The young receptionist looks stunned as he acknowledges my reservation but says it has been inexplicably canceled by he doesn't know by whom. A system failure that insists on deciphering uselessly for 50 minutes! until he gives up and decides to put me up in a room that luckily had been left free. He hands me the electronic card for room 212. I head exhausted after the desperate wait but the door does not open. I go downstairs, tell him and with a certain snub he accompanies me but he can't open it either. He goes up and down a couple more times until 20 minutes later he manages to open it. At 1:15 in the morning I finally get into the damn room and fall asleep. At 7 I get up and decide to take a shower but the hot water doesn't come out. Incredulous and stupefied, I go to reception to complain and settle the bill. They apologize for the inexperience of the night manager and in a fit of generosity he says that they will keep the original price of my reservation -110 €!- and that they invite me to breakfast. ”No, thanks. I'm in a hurry” and I rush out never to return.

Yesterday 09.03 I tried to get into this hotel. The receptionist said that the room has a narrow bed, when I asked to see it, he refused to do it. He was obviously lazy! When asked how I can then understand whether the room suits me or not, the employee advised me to go to another hotel. If you want good service don't stay at this hotel! They save a lot on employees or they are simply not trained to be polite!

The hotel is very pleasant. The person at the reception was really exceptional of kindness. It is pleasant when you arrive on the trip. The rooms are very good and very clean. The restaurant has also a good quality-price ratio. I had a good stay.

There were 3 nights for gp from f1. Very good experience, staff is nice, the clean rooms. The little dej was good. Break, one to say. Located about 15 minutes walk from the station without pressing. I recommend. The hotel is not a great place to flank, but it has nothing to do with the hotel.

I put you 5 points, though if you could put you more because it is a super well located place where the rooms are spectacular and even if it was only one night we spent there the attention was perfect and amazing. I saw it like a chance for BOOKING and the truth that super happy, as well as that they had an offer at that amazing moment, I will go back this very clear.

Ibis chain hotels located near the circuit, which means that it is convenient for the circuit, but if this is not the purpose, as in our case, you will find yourself in an industrial area and nothing around it. Just returned from a week stay at the hotel. The hotel is super clean and offers a gd bfast. However I hate to say that we r soo disappointed with the approach of the receptionists. We r a family of 5 ... 2 adults and 3 kids and thus had 2 interconnecting rooms. By mistake one of the kids locked one of the rooms with the chain and thus could not open the door. We asked the receptionists (2 young ladies) to help us out. After something like an hour waiting they told us that the maintence guy cannot be reached. We asked for a scew driver to unscrew the chain and they told us with have to give our visa no as these were d instructions. Of course we refused and after another hr or so, I had to reexplain that I had imp medication in the room and couldn't no spend the night outside without it. Only then did one of the them decide to come up and see my husband unlock the chain in 2 mins! No apologies nothing.... On another day we asked how we can get to some funpark with kids. Since we didn't have a car they told us that it is practically impossible. It is clear they (once again the 2 ladies) have no idea.... Absolutely.... How to inform clients how to get there. We had to ask locals to help us.... And we managed Illa fun park and also Porta Avventura with no hassle at all using a train! Unbelievable. When we needed a taxi a helpful receptionist, Marc always called for us and the taxi came in no time. However when we asked the same 2 receptionists.... They wanted to give us the number of the driver and we had to call. Im so sorry to complain however I believe that the receptionists have to have basic manners and information skills to direct their clients in a decent manner. The situation was so hilarious that sometimes I thought they were playing some joke on us😶

The staff were lovely and were probably the best thing about this hotel! The minifridge was stocked with drinks for free in the superior room which was very kind. It was generally quite shabby - cracks around door frames, threadbare towels etc. My curtains were also a bit stained. The room service list was pretty poor in terms of meals for main dishes, although the burger and pizza were lovely. The most disappointing thing was the location. In the middle of nowhere, this hotel was completely impractical if you didn’t have a car. I even had to get a taxi to the closest shop. It was over an hour by foot with no footpaths! The pool area was okay but very small and separated from the car park by a hedge, overlooked by the floor to ceiling glass windows of the restaurant. I felt too self conscious to use it even though it seemed okay. The main reason I wouldn’t come back was the inconvenient, awful location.
