Best Arriondas Hotels

Estancia de 15 días en julio, hotel con encanto especial, los camareros inmejorables, la comida esquisita, limpieza esagerada, recepción amable y eficaz, el mejor hotel, mi mayor agradecimiento por acogernos un año más, espero que sean muchos más, representais lo mejor de Asturias, paisajes inigualables cercano a las playas situación privilegiada, rutas de senderismo, el trato humano y acogedor que sabéis darnos la muchas veces que nos habéis acogido siempre en nuestro corazón desde Burgos Justi, Pilar. Me alojé con una amiga y llevábamos un perro. La estancia fue genial, tanto por la habitación, muy amplia y bonita (el baño reformado muy grande y súper limpio), como por el trato de los propietarios, que te hacen sentir como si estuvieras en tu casa. Con respecto a la parte de ir con mascotas, genial también. No te cobran suplemento y te suelen alojar en las habitaciones superiores, que tienen puerta directa al jardín para que el perro pueda campar a sus anchas. Sin duda, es un alojamiento que pienso recomendar a todo el mundo.

What a nice place. Very convenient for walking into the town (40 minutes) to have a meal or to catch the bus to Covadonga Lakes. I bet the river gets a bit lively when it rains in the mountains. A slight downside was the frenetic activity of the restaurant staff who all seemed to be on a sugar high. It didn’t lead to a very relaxing atmosphere at dinner or breakfast. Otherwise a brilliant stay.

This place is kind a Jekyll/Hyde situation. The owner comes from Mexico and has great sence for art and beauty. So the hotel is perfectly decorated with art including original cast from Dalí (homage to Newton from 1985). The are where the hotel is located is stunning!! Amazing views and great surroundings. Also spa and pool is very nice (you pay for entrance and its expensive). So where is the problem? Service in the restaurant!! There is probably no manager who would overlook the staff. So you wait long for everything, they make mistakes and you definitely miss the feeling of 5 star hotel. We took dinner for 4 people and some meals were great and some were disaster nothing in between. Breakfast is served and thats the main problem. Waitres are slow and you spent hours to get simple breakfast. Self service would be better. Generally we loved the location and its very nice place. But hotel is also about people and atmosphere they create and its not good there. I spent 700eur per night what is a lot of money and it should be better for that price.

Five friends used Hotel Granda as our base in the Picos De Europa, in the village of Cangas De Onis. We stayed four nights. We had a single room (which was really a twin room) a twin room for two and a double bedded room for two. (Room matrimonial in Spanish.) We had breakfast each morning which was very nice and extensive with fruit juice, tea and coffee, egg, bacon, ham, etc.. Very nice. The hotel was clean and modern, quiet with very comfortable beds. It had good parking availability. All the staff were very helpful and pleasant. We would happily use this hotel again and can recommend it. It's a short walk to the restaurants in the village.
