Excellent
We were a family group of 4 adults and 1 child (age 12 with additional needs). We had a 2 bed apartment with roof terrace and a 1 bed duplex apartment. Having been to several similar type hotels over the last few years overall gran oasis was completely as expected! I was impressed with the main restaurant food and it was definitely same quality as others we've stayed at. One of our party has dietary needs and staff were good at providing a gluten free bread roll and there was always plenty he could eat. The cleanliness of the restaurant, pool area and apartments was good and I had no concerns. All the staff we met were helpful and polite. We only used the biggest pool but it was the warmest we've been to at this time of year although is abit on the deep side for my liking. Plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. I was dreading the slopes and steps having read the reviews and having a personal hatred of hills but they weren't as bad as I expected and with abit of organisation to prevent 'extra' trips back to the apartment (which was at the top) it wasn't really a problem. I was very happy with the 2 bed apartment and we had beautiful views from our balcony. We had brilliant weather. We had a couple of walks down into Los Christianos and playa de las Americas and along the front which were really nice although busy. And there is a lovely footpath around the back of the hotel and golf course which we really liked. Got a taxi back from the front due to my hatred of hills- cost between 6-10 euros and never a problem to get one. We aren't interested in entertainment or activities so can't comment on them although it was set up quite well so as someone who's not interested it wasn't intrusive. Would recommend trying the different hot drinks machines around the restaurant as some were much better than others! The child has a children's massage which she enjoyed and was responsibly priced. And 2 adults did a spa visit- the spa had less than other we've visited and was more expensive as well but was still nice and very relaxing. Now for the reasons I gave it 3*. (I would have given it 4* without these as it was all fine but nothing was particularly amazing). First reason is the roof terrace- this was a big disappointment for me- there is no undercover area or umbrellas and it gets full sun so became too hot within a couple of minutes rending it unusable for us. It was also level with the motorway behind the hotel which made it very noisy and not very pleasant. The other reason is that 3 of our party got stomach bugs - one near beginning of stay, one near end of stay and one within 24 hours of getting home. And one of our party slipped on the stairs within the duplex apartment resulting in a bad wound to elbow requiring trip to hospital for stitches as well as multiple large and colourful bruises. Apart from illness/injury and the roof terrace we all enjoyed our holiday but not sure I will visit again as have preferred others we've been to alt

Arrived at the hotel was put in room B2 ground floor. No windows only one door that opens onto a patio right opposite a gate that leads onto the street, not very safe feeling as anyone could walk in. Room smelt like hot sewage, cracked tiles in the kitchen area, stains and hairs on the bed sheets and air con remote was no where to be found. Went and complained at the reception desk and they said there wasn’t anything they could do until the morning and they require 20 euros for the air con remote! Me and my partner went out for dinner as it was getting late and when we came back and entered our room again the smell was 10x worse! I went back to the reception desk where the same receptionist stated he can’t do anything for us sometimes it just smells. Extremely disappointed! After sitting in the room for 20mins I packed mine and my partners stuff and walked back down to reception. I said I refuse to sleep in a room that smells like hot sewage, is dirty and has multiple broken things in it and if there was nothing they could do I would want a refund so I could go stay elsewhere. The receptionist then gave us a new room and new room keys but stated we may have to move again the next morning, No map or anything to find the way round it’s like a maze!! Once into our new room now being around 1am we went to sleep. At 2.30am my partner was woken up by 2 men letting themselves into our room!! Horrified we jumped out of bed and the boys ran out of the room, the hotel had given them keys to our room and told them that’s where they were staying!! The next morning I went down to reception and spoke to a lady, didn’t get her name but I believe she is head of customer service. HORRIBLE woman, we explained our situation, how dissatisfied we were with the first room and how awful the smell was, then explained how disgusted we were that two men were let into our room in the middle of the night while us two girls were vulnerable and sleeping and how our first night and morning of holiday has been taken up trying to sort out the room situation. She stated it was our fault the guys were let into our room as they had paid to stay in that one (me and my partner completely unaware that someone else was booked in the room) She said there’s no smell in room B2, it’s our fault for complaining! Blamed us for absolutely everything and said we should be happy we don’t have to pay for the upgraded room they put us into! No understanding at all! Then had breakfast after sorting out the rooms, sadly this was also awful! Stone cold food, stale cereal and mouldy food!! Don’t ever stay here!! Couldn’t recommend it any less!! Awful hotel and useless receptionists!!

GGuest UserLovely hotel at a very good location. Modern, nicely decorated for Christmas. Polite staff, good choice for breakfast and dinner. Christmas dinner was something out of this world( been to many hotels, but Xmas dinner now will be hard to match). Not sure if it is always like this but we were the youngest in the hotel(43&47)during the first part of holidays and only later some other younger people joined us. The average age was 60's 😁 This hotel is not orientated to children but for us it was perfect- no screaming and shouting and our girl had fun in the pool by Herself and her cousin🤣 I wanted to book Spring Hotel Bitacora at first but now I am thinking that I made an excellent choice . That said, I might try it out next time just because of the All nclusive service Bitacora provides. It was a nice quiet stay so if you expect something like Turkey, eith music around the pool, kids disco and shows, this hotel is not for you. We were half board and 4 days we ate at the pool bar and were never disappointed. Good food and reasonable prices. We didn't book UP option because we were with the kids( it's for 18+)but if I ever come without them- I will try it out! Pros: Very good location Modern hotel Heated pools( wheelchair friendly) Good food and service Cons: No shampoo in a room! It's a first for me 🙈 The tiles in the pool (mosaic) need replacement. My daughter filled probably half of the carrier bag from the bottom saw of the pool🤣 All in all- perfect stay and believe me, I am picky. It is one of the hotels I would recommend to my friends and family

We have been coming back here for over twenty-five years and have seen a lot of changes, but we do like it, so despite that, we will continue to visit at least twice a year. The downside is the hill you have to walk up can be a struggle for many, so a taxi is advised. The accommodation is lovely but some rooms do need refreshing, the rooms are good sizes with fully equipped kitchen with microwave and fridge freezer. The cleaning service is great, with beds made most days of our two week stay. The property also share amenities with the sister hotel next door giving the option to use up to three pools, with a small shaded baby pool. Entertainment is also available nightly and kids club during the daytime. On Wednesday they always have a BBQ night around the pool for a reasonable amount with live entertainment. On Saturday afternoon is a foam party with DJ. All in all a great time had by all.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel has a great bed. Kitchen with household appliances. but the best the jacuzzi q is very big. the pool is also very good. Breakfast was 10€ separate, and I thought it was okay. Generally Recommended. The only thing we didn't like was that we left a bag with clothes and instead of calling to warn her to get out of the bag and there was no way to recover all the contents of xq was already mixed with other things

LLolaI went on holiday with my partner far away to celebrate our anniversary and we were super lucky and got an upgrade to one of the duplex with golf views, absolutely beautiful and massive for the 2 of us, but it was a bit disappointed as the room was not clean enough and the housekeeper had to come to clean the bathroom a bit better and also the horrible stains on the floor in the room but after that everything was perfect and we were very happy. The hotel is very good located if you are looking for a quiet place to stay far away from the hubbub but be aware that you need to take taxi to get the beach or rent a bike or a car, walking distance is not an option. The swimming pools are really good and you have plenty of space to sunbathing. The staff at the hotel are exceptional and with a high level of customer service and always willing to help, special mention to Martin from the restaurant and also Raul and Diana from the Reception, very good customers service and happy to help. The breakfast was really good and we were very impressed with plenty of variety for everyone and the staff really efficient. On the negative side we would like to mention that we would have liked a small touch from the hotel to say congratulations as we got engaged and we mentioned to Diana and Raul from the Reception and also to Martin but not a small little thing to say congratulations like a card or 2 glasses of prosecco or kind of. About the room, we would like to mention that the mattress are not very comfy as you expect from a 4* hotel and even though the room was very well equipped we missed a bin in the room and we had to use the one from the bathroom in the living room. We did not eat at the restaurant so I cannot tell about the food there and we did not use the gym or the spa either. We will definitely come back next year.

GGuest UserI loved this hotel. Me and my boyfriend decided to go on a short holiday in half term and chose this hotel as it was relatively cheap whilst also being quite central in playa las americas. When we arrived the hotel is very clean. We got to our room and we had been given a double family room for the 2 of us. i didn’t book this so this was a nice surprise as we had a double balcony which looked over the sea and we could see the sunset. The bathroom was lovely and the rooms were very clean with huge beds, cleaned every day to a perfect standard. In the morning we had a buffet breakfast which was extensive and filled us up, the dinner buffet was also really nice and changed every night with fresh food also being made in front of you. The pool side had lots of chairs and we never struggled to get a seat, the pool was nice and a nice temperature. There was a bar near the pool with crisps and drinks and on the last day there was a pool party with music and rubber dingies which we both loved as it was some entertainment. The hotel was a 10 minute walk from the beach and the main bars and we managed to walk to many different areas with no problem. I would definitely recommend this hotel can’t fault it

GGuest UserWe were here September 2023 & we really enjoyed it we returned this June 2024. A couple of the previous animation team have sadly left Victor & Mica but Javi & the 3 new girls Marta, Laura & Yumi were brilliant. We had a great time with them. On arrival we had a bit of a wait to check in, must admit they still dont have enough staff on reception, same as last year. We were finally checked in by a very welcoming Nicole. She gave us all the detailed info for the All Inclusive package. We had HB last year. Also our room was ready which was great. Room 101 with a Seaview. Room was very nice, small but fine. Great view of pool & sea. Only ****** was everytime we showered (daily) it flooded the bathroom floor. Just a bad fitting seal. We mentioned it to reception when we checked out so hopefully they will sort it. We just got on with with it but to other guests they may complain. We hired the safe. Makes me laugh about comments on money going missing etc. Hire the safe!!! Simples, yes you have to pay but for the amount it's a no brainer!!! You get the deposit back. Food this year I felt had slightly gone downhill. Choice & quality not as good in my opinion. The restaurant & pool bar staff were great as usual. Evening entertainment was good although for June there were alot of young children running about, over the equipment being set up for some of the shows & the parents doing nothing!!! Seemed left to the animation team to calm them down!! Not on. Parents take responsibility for your own kids! I'm sure they'd have something to say if they hurt themselves. Location of the hotel is great. Everything you want in a stones throw. Again makes me laugh when people say it's over a loud bar. Dont people do their research before they go?! We had a great time and will be back. Thankyou to everyone at H10 Las Palmeras xx

GGuest UserHotel located in a very central area close to everything, buses, taxis and entertainment. Swimming pool on the seventh floor a little small but sufficient. Excellent service, very available at all hours even at night, credit to Ignacio, a fantastic and friendly person. A piece of advice, even if the hotel is a little dated, go there, you won't regret it. The breakfast is excellent, I don't recommend dinner, go to Playa as you are spoiled for choice about what to eat. Excellent and it's holidays
