The hotel is next to the castle, about 15 minutes walk from the city, the location is OK, the breakfast is rich, the facilities in the room are a bit old, and the overall view is OK.

LOCATION 4/5 If you want a cheap and cheerful hotel to rest your head and a base to explore, then this will be the place for you. I wouldn't want to stay here for a week but its ok for a few nights. Located a 5 minute walk from the beach, its in a good location with plenty of restaurants down at the beach and nearby. This is not in the hustle and bustle of the city centre and so if you would rather be more central then you could stay here and get a bus/tram into the centre. Its about 1.5 hours to walk from here to the castle near to the city centre or 20 mins by car. FACILITIES 3/5 The facilities at the hotel are pretty basic. There is one outdoor pool (not heated) with sun loungers, on site restaurant, gym and sauna, the sauna was not in use when we stayed and the gym is pretty basic. There is however plenty of gyms to use along the beach front if you want to get some exercise, along with beach volleyball, football and other activities to keep you active if that's what you like. The pool as stated is not heated so pretty cold but that can be welcoming in high temperatures but not so good for an early morning dip. We visited in September so out of season and there were plenty of free sunbeds, however I can imagine in summer season you may struggle to get one. I also found that the pool was over run by children, even when visited out of season, so if you don't like too many children I would avoid this hotel as it is very family friendly. ROOM 3/5 The room was adequate with a comfy bed, all be it the beds were just pushed together and moved about a lot and i ended up falling down a gap in the middle of them. Aircon was good as was the shower, whihc was hot and powerful. Clothes line option in bathroom to hang your wets and a standard low powered hair dryer provided. No tea and coffee facilities in the rooms, but there was a small fridge to store your bottled water. You are not allowed to consume food and drink on site note bought there so not sure what else they expect you to store in the fridge. Electronic safe in wardrobe was easy to use and free. The windows could be opened and in addition to air con is a ceiling fan if you are not a fan or air con. STAFF 4/5 The staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful and welcoming. No issues at reception or in the restaurant. We asked several questions during our stay and they were very accommodating in helping us. FOOD 3/5 The breakfast buffet is standard for Europe with some hot options and continental breakfast, cereals, fruit etc. The quality of food is ok and like I said at the beginning this is a cheap and cheerful hotel, you pay for what you get so don't expect amazing food quality. There is no allergen information so this can make things difficult if you have an allergen and you may have to ask staff to assist you with what you can and cannot eat. Overall food quality was adequate. OVERALL 3/5 Overall this was a good hotel and suited our needs for a few nights. Fre

My wife and I stayed here one night interestingly/accidently on Hogueras de Alicante (Bonfire festival). The festival was a cool and interesting bonus, but the suites were a mixed bag. Off the top, we were very unhappy with how we were treated, but unlike the management, I will try to be fair with this review. First off, the place is an old ~4 story building on the edge of a pedestrian zone. You will be greeted with a grand door, and a beautiful marble interior and marble stair case. Walking in was amazing, giving the impression you had picked a truly amazing place. Amazing details in the shared areas. Art, glass floor, atrium, etc. There was a super helpful young woman working there who helped us find the place, did the check in, and when we mentioned that we had a late flight out, said we could park longer (no late checkout allowed however and strangely paid luggage storage). She was really nice, but also disempowered and I recall was a student who probably will be moving on, so unlikely you will see her in the distant future. The room was an interesting experience. The suite was very large, high ceilings, spacious. You enter a (relatively speaking) small foyer area, which immediately opens into a kitchen/living room. Probably 15ft x 25ft. At the end of the room is a window which opens to the street. To the left, continuing in this massive suite is the bed room. Two windows, 15x15, and the bathroom to the left, also massive with the remaining 15x10ft (all approx.). It had a cool feeling of age, made me wonder if this had been a private residence, or perhaps an office building years ago. As grand as the scale was, the décor was a little bit of a let-down. The kitchenette was black, minimalistic and sparse. The seating area furniture had that “modern curvy feel”, that looked cool initially, but after a while, a little uncomfortable. Don’t get me wrong, it would be hard to decorate such a space and it was ok. Just felt like a lost opportunity for something more in line with the building. Also, it was not like the photos I saw online. The other rooms in the suite were similarly sparse and minimalistic. The bed was decent. I do not recall being amazed by the bed or bedding, but nor do I recall any issues. The bathroom was similarly large and had a lot of dead space, with one wall being turned into a set of glass enclosures for toilet and shower. Strange that there was glass between the shower and toilet. Definitely not set up for two person use 😊. Another tiny issue was that the windows did open onto the building across the narrow street, meaning to let light it also meant lost privacy. They could have set it up better. So far, the experience was generally positive, but it was the service which really let us down. There were two events, I’ll let you judge for yourselves: 1) Prior to our arrival, we started getting phone calls. They were concerned about whether we were aware that it the bonfire festival was on, and the streets would be clos

Excellently located along the promenade with many dining options nearby. The view from the balcony was also stunning - great for catching the sunrise/sunset. Room was extremely clean and beautifully decorated, though the TV wasn't a smart one. Breakfast was delicious, although the selection was quite limited. Staff were warm but a bit reserved. Overall, a great stay.
Genuinely really nice hotel if you're a stoic, philosophical, get-what-you-pay-for, kind of person - I was honestly perfectly happy there... However... The room was small, so small in fact that they emailed us ONCE WE WERE ALREADY THERE, 'reminding' us (there had been no mention before) that we had booked a very small double room, that was more suitable for a single person, and offering to upgrade us for a scarcely justifiable fee. It was very small. The basin is in the main room, as the bathroom is hilariously small - did I mention the whole thing was small. The shower was ok, but to access the toilet you'd need to be less than a foot (30cm) in width. Yes, width. Again, as a stoic stiff-upper-lipped Englishman I was perfectly happy as I would just squeeze my shoulders in, but for the portly, do consider this advice when booking! Staff were lovely though, and the fact that the bed seemed firm and excellent at first, to give way to mild back pain and the realisation that the firmness was rigid mattress-springs almost went unnoticed! Outstanding location though, and really fine if you don't mind imperfection!
Our room had bed bugs, room Service skipped our room 2 times. When they actually do room service. There was black hair everywhere.
Other rooms had a phone we did not.
I feel like got one of their worst rooms.. but i would go back just to see if we had a bad room. Cause the staff is nice and the hotel “feels” great and has a great location!

Very nice hotel and room but no welcome water in room / no kettle or access to making hot drinks in room / no mini fridge in room , we could here people in other rooms have bed fun so sound proof is not good , I would book again on my second Choice but would not book on first choice.
Hotel is near the beach
We are at reception if they had complimentary water and they pointed me to a vending machine. This was 11 o’clock at night next door and purchase water, vending machine prices.
All round a hood 2 - 3 star hotel
We stayed here for 2 nights, before traveling to Valencia, it was so good we decided to return for a further 2 nights days later. First off the location was everything you could hope for. 5 min from the beach, 2 min from the lanes full of restaurants, 10 min to the old down. The hotel is bright, very clean with great modern interior design. The staff were fantastic in all areas, Manuel in the restaurant was a top barista and a friendly face every morning, breakfast was tasty and fresh. Front of house with Jean, Veronica and Brisa could not do enough for you, from booking taxies to helping with directions, they were all so friendly. The rooms were reasonably quiet considering they are in a town and the great aircon made for a welcome retreat. As we travel a lot we never like to go to the same place twice but will definitely be back. 10/10

We stayed 2 nights in the hotel and had a very pleasant stay. The rooms were a good size and had a fridge, tea kettle and the usual bathroom amenities. They were clean and quiet. The staff at the hotel were pleasant and helpful. We had dinner there one evening and it was quite good. The buffet breakfast was fine and had a good variety of food. The hotel is not near the area where much of the restaurants, shops and beaches are so we needed to take taxis but it wasn’t too expensive to get there. We did use the parking garage. I have to say that the garages in hotels in Europe are challenging at times. We were driving an SUV and there are some tight spaces to get around. But the parking wasn’t too expensive and there were always spaces available.
Hotel located near the Luceros square, Trading house El corte igles and see promenade. Reception staff is very helpful and friendly. Only the sauna and gym area is narrow and uncomfortable. Breakfast is normally, but the hot dishes was late being refreshed😞 We will be back. Sure
Stayed in Estudiotel for three nights and all I can say is that on my next holiday to this city I will stay here again. A big spacious room ,light and airy ,comfortable beds ,flat screen tv,lots of storage ,breakfast was good ,self service Continental style breakfast ,location could not be better, within easy walking distance of all tourist sites and around the hotel lots and lots of pubs, bars and restaurants ,most definitely well worth checking out if you're planning a trip to Alicante .
GGuest UserThis is the 2nd time I’ve used this hotel, it’s ideal from the train station- literally across the road.
Especially when coming off a lengthy train ride with a child so we could catch an early morning flight from Alicante Airport.
Clean check in area and very friendly staff , helpful regarding public transport and there are free tea & coffee making facilities in the lobby in the evening .
The rooms are adequate with aircon if needed in the summer.
Clean bathroom and toilet with plenty of towels and toiletries , this is not a holiday hotel but for 1 night stays especially for the airport as the bus stop is just over the road.
As a woman travelling on her own and another occasion with s young child I have felt perfectly safe.
GGuest UserBasic but clean accommodation. A bit of a longer walk into the centre than I thought but easily done. Kettle available but no tea/coffee etc so a bit pointless, although I had taken a couple of coffee sachets so it wasn’t bad for us. Room cleaned daily and clean towels daily which was nice. Great if you’re driving and need a parking space and quick to get to from the airport with a bus stop right outside. Reception staff were polite and welcoming. We just wanted a base and somewhere to sleep for a short break.
YYoyo_HaarTerrible place to book a room, Room looked like it was used for staff / tradesmen or worse. Wall onto stairs (see photo) each time anyone used the stairs woke the room up View from window see photo, no ventilation in bathroom, no balcony or view Window shutter broken not operating (open/close) Lights hanging from the wall Ladies blond wig found between bed No fridge just a space for one Only two sockets added for the whole room Door lock sticking very difficult to open Charged for car parking, then refunded, than asked again to pay Lower basement car park, still parking the car and collecting belongings, and lights were turned off, shutter closed, said there was a switch on the wall, but even next day could not find one, so being elderly with two others had to exit via steep ramps in the dark to exit Complained all they said is cannot understand you. People got stuck in the lift, alarms sounded screaming and banging from guests stuck in the lift, after this I was so frightened to use the lift, so I had to use stairs a number of times with limited mobility. Noise from corridors all hours banging, furniture moving, sounded like pipes leaking above the bathroom ceiling. TV was poor, the remote was very dirty and had no id to know what buttons were for what, only a few Spanish channels Had no operating air conditioning, listed as being air conditioned, so asked for a fan, one given but said no AC until May, not what it says on the web site. Reception said water was leaking from our bathroom to room below, see photo of sealing around floor, as clearly they have had a problem before Floor tiles cracked in bathroom Sink, towel rail and stool all cracked Bathroom door was very tatty and rotten at the bottom. One easy chair in the room, so dirty we could not use it to even put anything on, white stains all over it! Safe but no key, (not secure with a key anyway) top by safe inside wardrobe marked with paint etc Electric button in room, no idea what for, push button in wall suspect may be rooms by the hour? Old electric unit on wall by bed with no cover was it safe or live? No Bar, restaurant etc only buffet breakfast. NO information in the room / hotel regarding facilities etc not even pictures on the wall
Our overnight stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. We booked two double rooms for ourselves and our teenagers. Unfortunately, one of the rooms was a letdown. It reeked of smoke, and the bed's base had some strange stains. The initial encounter with the staff was promising, with one person genuinely apologetic and sympathetic about the situation. However, another staff member didn't seem to care much when we raised the issue. They attempted to get rid of the smoke smell with an ozone machine, which worked for a short while but didn't last. Eventually, we were moved to a better room that was clean and suitable. Breakfast the next morning was a pleasant surprise, really nice and provided a positive start to the day. Another disappointment was the technical issue with the TV when we tried to use Netflix. Although we reported it, we were told it couldn't be fixed until morning, which was frustrating. Looking back, the enjoyable breakfast and the kindness of one staff member were nice moments, but they couldn't make up for the various letdowns. Hopefully, the hotel can address these issues to ensure a more consistent and pleasant experience for future guests.
We arrived very late in the night. The hotel entrance was inviting and the lobby was clean and pretty decent. The hotel check-in staff was very friendly and helpful. She checked us in and even assisted us with getting a hot meal despite how late it was. We then proceeded to find our room. The first thing we noticed was that the hallway on the floor was poorly lit, but we were tired so we jut cheked for our room and went it. On entering the room, it smelt unpleasant. There was a smell of old dust. We then went inside the bathroom. That was an awful experience. The toilet had dried urination stains, the shower vent was filled with dust and the bathroom wasn't fresh. We then tried to turn on the television and it wouldnt work. We called the front desk and the check-in staff offered to come to our room. She broguth a new remote to asisst with the television. We complained about the room and asked if we could be moved. She said the room we got was for disabled persons and hadnt been used in a while ( which was obvious) but it also wasnt clean. She offered to try and get us into a new room the next day for which we were grateful. We tried to endure but had trouble sleeping because the air conditioner was filled with dust. We eventually fell asleep and by the net morning I couldnt breathe. My nose was stuffy and I felt like i was choking on dust. We decided to just check out early and find another place as at this point we just had enough. We checked out and were told that we would receive a refund for the remaining nights we did not stay. We booked for 3 nights and stayed for 1. A week after we checked out , we receievd an email stating that they will not refund the nights that we did not stay without valid explanation. Highly disappointing! Defintiely won't go back.
AAnonymous UserFor a budget hotel, this place has everything you'd want in holiday accommodation: bed, desk, working outlets, bathroom with separate toilet and shower. Sadly half the channels didn't work on the TV. There was also a cafe in the main Ibis hotel that provided breakfast but I never tried it.
Location wise, it's opposite a quiet beach area, but if you want to go out and don't have a car, your only option is the C6 bus or taxi.
Overall though, I highly recommend it if you just want somewhere to rest.
