This was one of the strangest accommodations I ever had. I booked four nights at a bargain rate. However, the address and âhotelâ phone number were incorrect, creating a stressful situation when I arrived after dark. The address near the pyramids is sketchy. After contacting trip.com I was able to call the owner the next morning (after getting a room in another hotel at a high rate) who walked me to his guesthouse about 5 minutes away. For the price, the room, bathroom, washing machine and free breakfast at another property (looking at the pyramids) was a good bargain. The owner is a nice man who even brought me fruit and drinks every night. My advice is to contact the owner days before arriving to get a specific address and correct WhatsApp number.

Such a beautiful hotel with incredibly kind staff who are more than willing to accommodate and provide whatever is needed. The hotel is very safe with high level security, and a great location with short driving distance to the Nile. The interior of the hotel was gorgeous, and felt very luxurious; we also very much enjoyed the outdoor lounge area. The rooms are spacious and clean, our room had a gorgeous view of the Nile. The breakfast was hands down the best breakfast I ate in Egypt, they had a large spread with the perfect selection. The staff brought us water bottles daily and allowed us to store our luggage in a safe room while we traveled to Luxor and Hurghada. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel and team, you could not go wrong booking with them!
The hotel has been taken over by Hilton. The location and scenery are very good, and the facilities are acceptable. The top floor 44 is the revolving hall, which requires a reservation for dinner, overlooking Cairo. There is a place for sailing on the river not far from the hotel. We recommend sailing. The breakfast is rich and has many choices. The hotel's rooftop swimming pool is only open until sunset at 7 o'clock (this is the case for hotels in Egypt), so you have to go in advance if you want to. The service was average, and it took a long time to deliver luggage to the room (the overall service industry in Egypt is very fast). There is a Nubian restaurant next to it, right by the river. The view is nice, but the food is served too slowly.
Decent value for money. Good location in between central Cairo and Giza which is good if youâre visiting the pyramids and the centre. We had no hot water for two mornings but they eventually fixed it. Nothing fancy but did the job, you get what you pay for and looked just like the pictures so canât complain. Staff nice enough and security is good. Break fast was ok. You can buy water and drinks in the cafe. Wouldnât recommend the spa, my massage lady kept asking for a tip through out. You canât really walk anywhere but taxis are super cheap. Less than ÂŁ2 for journeys 20mims +, take into account that the traffic is crazy in Cairo! Overall satisfied.
