With a majestic driveway leading up to it, this hotel is perfectly located on a sprawling lawn with a 4-minute walk to the harbour where you'll find a selection of restaurants. We stayed for two nights attending the Nexus U14 International Soccer Tournament. We had a superior room and while plenty big, the bathroom was pretty small: you could fit 2 people in there at once, but only if one was in the shower. The building is large and has long corridors - I never really got to learn my way around, but followed signs. Breakfast was very good, neatly served in ready-made portions you would put on your plate (e.g. a small bowl with sausage and 2 strips of bacon). I would particularly like to commend Saúl for his outstanding cocktail service: he made us his signature Monkey G&T and went into great detail about his selection of ingredients and how he expresses himself through his profession. We also liked the ”rec room” where you can bring your drinks, sit in a sofa, check out their library and play billiards. They had someone (Sören) hold his 60th birthday party on Friday, and the hotel was a venue for a wedding with a live band on Saturday, so they had a lot going on! The staff was also kind enough to let us into a conference room where we used our computer to stream a soccer match between Iceland and Slovakia. They also booked a large taxi in advance, to pick us up the morning after (5 passengers with luggage). Last tip: would recommend a visit to a cozy little family-run beach bar, Oddie's, just 4 minutes away.
We went to the hotel by car. There is a long way to the hotel. If you take public transportation, you have to walk a lot to get in. Halfway through the drive, you will see the horse farm and the residents who are riding horses, and you will arrive at the hotel after you pass through the stalls. This hotel is also famous for its own golf club, and there are many members depending on the number of parking lots.
The castle hotel itself is actually not big. The first floor is mainly a restaurant of decent scale, a guest lounge, and of course a conference hall. The middle terrace on the second floor is actually another restaurant, which can be reserved for businessmen to start a buffet lunch. You can go up and take a look or take pictures when you are not in the dining time.
Regarding the rooms, it should be noted that regardless of whether the room type has an auxiliary building or not, as long as it has a balcony or a terrace, it is in the auxiliary building. The main building, which is the only white building, all rooms have no balcony and terrace, including luxury suite.
We ordered a room with a terrace, which is actually on the first floor of the annex building next to it. The terrace is a small garden where the back door goes out, but it is not all enclosed. Anyone can walk in directly from the outside. Of course, we have not encountered such a problem. Reasonable people who came directly to sit on our terrace sofa, but it is undeniable that this terrace is a bit disappointing. We also asked the hotel about this, because there is no annex building next to this room type, and the response we got is that the main building and the annex building are connected by underground passages, so all are counted as castles even if the ground looks separated and the colors are different. There was no alternative, we accepted this explanation. We tried the underground passage and it was a bit detour, but it was really convenient on rainy days, but it was very unsuitable for carrying luggage, so our luggage was parked directly at the entrance of our annex building and then moved in.
The hotel’s breakfast is more traditional, it is a cold meal. There are not many varieties and it looks exquisite. If you need scrambled eggs, you need to ask the waiter. It is recommended to sit down and look at the menu on the table before deciding. Different egg methods have a difference between a charge and no charge. Although it is almost the same thing, we came up because we did not read the menu blindly and listen to the waiter’s introduction, and we were not told to charge. I'll be a little dumbfounded in the future. But the taste is good. I personally don't like the whole cold meal. It may be the Chinese stomach can't stand it, so it is recommended to order a scrambled egg for no extra charge.
Generally speaking, the room is exquisite, the toilet is slightly small but the retro style is very good, the writing desk is special and style I like it, and it is worth mentioning that I asked the front desk for hot water, and then gave me one Come over with a hot water kettle. As a Danish hotel that generally does not have a hot water kettle, this is worth extra points.
This is a very expensive hotel in the early years, opposite the sea, the scenery is beautiful. Too far from the city, the surrounding restaurants are snoring at 9 o'clock in the evening, eating is not convenient, no car is not recommended. Drive to pay attention to parking in place

We stayed in the Transit Room at Living Suites for 4 nights in mid-September. Living Suites is a 5-min walk from the Naerum St bus stop. One can use the 150S bus from Norreport St and is a 40-min ride. It is an hour's ride to both Hillerod (Frederiksborg Castle) and Helsingor (Kronborg Slot). The Transit Room is in the Basement of the Hotel and is spacious. The sofa bed was firm and comfortable. However, the pillows were a little soft for our liking. The kitchen is well equipped. We did not cook in our room rather used the common kitchen. The common kitchen is very spacious and multiple people can cook simultaneously. The shower cabinet inside the room was fine and had enough space. The private toilet (right most one with the lock) outside the room was clean. The towels provided were very nice. We did not use the TV as we were very tired at the end of the day. Both check-in and check-out were both easy. Meny supermarket was 5-min walk from the Hotel. Overall we had a lovely stay and would recommend this to others as well.
This hotel is mainly for business meetings. There are several conference rooms. After 10 pm, there will be people who drink a lot in the corridor. The room is very poorly soundproofed. I was awakened 3 times at night after 9 o'clock. I ordered a rib for dinner, which was more general.
