Best Rothenbach an der Pegnitz Hotels

We visited our family in Lauf and Hotel Wilder Mann was the best option in the region! It really overpassed our expectations! In such a small village, to be a hotel designed like a palace! We booked a triple room, for our teenage daughter too. The two rooms, were separated and had each one it's door, which was very nice and respectful according to our privacy. Breakfast and staff very nice. Parking space for free in front of the entrance! We will book again in the first chance!!!!!

There were two nights, breakfast delicious,the breads from the baker from the place, hm delicious. Shower some narrow but the room distribution in the bathroom is good. The sauna is very spacious. Service very friendly. Location good, you get quickly to the south city and can reach the Nürnberg Forest from the hotel. Come back

We only booked this hotel as we were away on business and attending Biofach at the exhibition centre nearby. Of course prices went through the roof as an exhibition was on, my company £364 for a basic twin room per night / for 3 nights - over £1000 in total! When I arrived, yes the room was clean but I was suprised at how basic it was for the price, plus the fact it looked nothing like the pictures on trip advisor. I also looked on booking.com to see there was rooms available for that night for less than half of what we paid. I went down to reception and asked if there was any other rooms available as I felt our room was very poor quality for the price, and we overpaid compared to the current price for available rooms. I’ve never seen someone at reception seem to offended at such a standard question. She asked me ‘what my point was’, and insisted there were no rooms available except those that hadn’t been renovated. Answering my question if an available better room was available seemed impossible and she said I should speak to the manager the next day. However there was a very helpful woman who checked me in. Before I even got round to speaking to a manager the next day we decided to go the gym. Of course the gym isn’t signposted anywhere in the hotel, why would a key facility be? I asked the woman at the desk (who was on her mobile phone) where it was and she pointed ahead of her and said the door on the left after the glass door. There were 3 doors, of course none said gym on and they all looked the same. I picked one and ended up in the stock room. I went back and asked her to confirm again but she just pointed again as it must have been too much effort to walk round from the desk and show me. Of course I eventually found it, no air con, music or lights but not suprised. When we first arrived the lady at reception recommended booking for the restaurant as it gets busy, we didn’t book that night and we were asked by the waiter if we had a reservation but luckily there was space. We decided the next day to request a booking to which the response was ‘you don’t need to book there’s lots of rooms’, to which I confirmed what the waiter had said and so she reluctantly wrote my room number down on a piece of paper. I never even complain, especially when away on business, but only 1 night in I felt I needed to The plus side is the food is good, and the location is 10 minutes from the exhibition, shame it was taken over from the Hilton and the customer service is beyond poor.

Un hotel normal, sin más. La habitación era amplia y tenia baño en la habitación. Como pro, el agua de la ducha salía con presión y bastante caliente. Se ve que es un hotel antiguo y no le iria mal una reforma. Pasamos una noche sin desayuno. La zona muy tranquila, aunque a las 7 de la mañana tocaron las campanas de la iglesia que esta cerca, pero a nosotros, particularmente, no nos molestó. El wifi no funcionaba demasiado bien, almenos en la habitación.

The room is large and really spacious.

Kleines, feines Hotel am Rande von Nürnberg. Sehr ruhige Lager - aber trotzdem nicht weit zur Altstadt. Restaurants in der nähe sind locker zu Fuß zu erreichen. Gleiches gilt für öffentliche Verkehrsmittel. Sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Frühstück, Zimmer... Alles super. - Wir kommen gerne wieder -

Excellent place to stay. Mainly because the staff are wonderful, the rooms are comfortable, the breakfast plentiful, and dinner in the restaurant tasty and fresh! My only negative is the fact i had to take taxis to and from the messe and business dinners in the old town, which in the end was very costly. However i would definitely revisit.
