Meine Frau und ich haben von Samstag auf Sonntag in diesem „Qualitäts“ Hotel übernachtet. Schon beim betreten des Hotels doch die Halle hatten wir ein schlechtes Gefühl weil der Teppich wirklich sehr gestunken hat und schmutzig war. Auch im Aufzug war ein schmutzige Teppich der sehr alt ist. Beim aussteigen aus dem Aufzug im obersten Stockwerk haben wir uns sehr gewundert wie ungepflegt, alt und sanierungsbedürftig dieses Hotel ist. unserer Meinung nach stammt das Hotel aus den späten fünfziger Jahren. Und seitdem ist nichts passiert. Das Zimmer stank nach Schimmel und Schmutz und wir mussten erst lüften und hatten ein ganzes Vibaset Desinfektions Spray zu verwenden damit wir überhaupt darin bleiben konnten. In der Dusche begrüßte uns ein großer Fleck von irgendwas den meine Frau dann beseitigt hat. Die Tür im Badezimmer ist umgekehrt angebracht was den Komfort sehr einschränkt. Alles ist alles und funktioniert nicht der Wasserabfluss war verstopft. Wegen dem schlechten Wetter und Regen haben wir im Hotel Restaurant zu Abend gegessen und für vier Personen reserviert. Das Lokal war ziemlich leer und das Speiseangebot war sehr begrenzt. Die Einrichtung erinnert an eine kommunistische Betriebskantine. Die Küche ist direkt im Restaurant, es riecht ständig nach Knoblauch und und verbrannten Öl. Eine Frau klopfte dort ständig Schnitzel und das sehr laut und nachhaltig. Die Köchin hat auch keine Kopfbedeckung auf. Das einzig gute war ein Chardonnay in einer unüblichen 1 l Flasche der gut trinkbar war. Dazu haben wir Butter Brot mit etwas Käse gegessen weil das das einzige war was was für Leute die sich gesund ernähren wollen im Angebot war. Der Kellner, ein jüngerer dunkelhaariger Mann hat uns sehr freundlich und aufmerksam bedient und das war wirklich das einzig positive in diesem Restaurant und Hotel. Bei der Abreise wurde nicht einmal guten Morgen oder auf wieder schauen gesagt. Das macht aber nichts weil wir werden uns sowieso nie wieder sehen dass Hotel und wir. Das Hotel kann man auf keinen Fall weiter empfehlen.

The Hotel Central in Hof is one of those hotels that have tried with a likely overviewable effort to make an attractive hotel with modern design from an old box. The room was a little carved and unpleasantly designed - though very clean! The carpet in the whole flat area is old and doesn't work well. Personal is friendly. I also have the impression that, in the absence of competition, there is no more effort to create a pleasant experience. The criterion for me was, however, that during the week a much smaller breakfast is offered than at the weekend (salmon, sect, etc.). As a business traveller, it is seen that operators are happy to take the revenues with, but prefer to make the service available to the weekend guests. Good alternative: Hotel Siebenquell in Weißenstadt, about 30 minutes from Hof.

Very centrally located, modern hotel. The rooms are very bright, clean, with large baths (shoe, cosmetic mirror). The beds are an absolute dream. The filled minibar is available for free. The whole house is very attractive. The breakfast buffet is very good and always complete. Leave dishes are sought here forgiven. This is ensured by the very careful staff. However, what we regret is that there is no restaurant. Just at this season it would be very advantageous if you could eat in the hotel at night. Another small criticism is that you have raised the parking fee from 12.00 Euro to 15.00 Euro over the last 4 months. The parking is in front of the hotel, but not covered. I think too expensive. The staff is always super friendly, helpful and competent. You feel right away in good hands. If we travel back to the courtyard, we will certainly be guests back to the house.

The location is very good, in the city center, very close to the pedestrian street, walking to the commercial center, behind the big market, free parking. Suitable for taking children. The breakfast was good and there were Chinese restaurants around.

It’s in room 9 at the entrance, so you can get either the last guest in the evening, the first guest in the morning, or the breakfast staff. Sleep and get a good night's sleep is not... Otherwise, the location on the lake is great. The bed is not suitable for tall people, because the sides are limited and the feet cannot be extended. Clean and use towel/shower gel, shampoo (included) and small breakfast, including 2 rolls, cold cuts, jam, eggs and drinks. There is no doubt whether it is a vegetarian or a vegetarian. Consistently and in the aspect of cost savings, the receptionist was very friendly and referred to the evening closure at 22:00.
