The room is super spacious and the heating is full. The room and bathroom are particularly clean. The front desk lady is super good. The service is very warm. The room was spacious and clean, and the waiter was enthusiastic and gave us children's slippers and toothbrushes, which added a lot of warmth to our family's stay. The hotel's bedding is also very comfortable. Lying on it is like being among the clouds, allowing us to get sufficient rest during the journey.
The bathroom facilities are all available and spotlessly clean. The water temperature in the shower is easy to adjust and the water output is stable. The air conditioning in the room has a very good cooling effect and can quickly adjust the indoor temperature.

沒有電梯，沒有免費礦泉水（有高人指點～凡是不提供免費礦泉水的，一直打開自來水龍頭放水2個小時）
床鋪估計在2—2.2米寬度，佔用了場地，造成空間窄小，床一邊就靠牆，一邊留30公分進出。（是大床房的房型）。
晚上9點半回酒店，大門口的酒店燈光牌已經熄燈，走廊也昏暗。
貌似床單也沒有換新。

The landlord is very enthusiastic, helped answer many many questions, and recommended many local food, drink and fun strategies. My mobile phone accidentally dropped in the scenic spot, and the landlord was also very enthusiastic to give the address and help receive it back to me. The heating in the room is also very sufficient, the room is not cold at all, the key things need to be said again: the landlord is very Nice, warm and beautiful!

The only reason I chose this hotel is that they can help me book tickets and it is close to the entrance of Changbai Mountain (but I didn't expect it to be so close, probably less than 100 meters, it feels like I can see this pointed ticket gate after walking two steps)
It is indeed a bit inconvenient to go out to other attractions, but we are mainly here to go to Tianchi so it's okay.
The room environment is better than I expected, quite clean, and similar to the style of Beipo Lanjing
And the front desk service is very enthusiastic, especially a sister with round eyes who really tries to meet our needs as much as possible. We didn't bring a hot pack and couldn't find the store, and she also helped us find a colleague.

GGuest UserA great hotel, great value for money! It's not good in one aspect, but a hotel that is particularly good in all aspects. It is almost perfect in this price range of tourist attractions! It is the best hotel I have ever stayed in! Highly recommended! I saw other people's comments saying it was very cold before, but we stayed for three nights in a row, and it was not cold at all, and even felt a little hot. We even opened the window to sleep at night.

Hygiene: Very clean
Environment: Very quiet, there are sika deer and little foxes in the hotel yard, which is very photogenic, and they also made snowmen very attentively

One time for 2 adults and 1 child (under 1.3 meters) to Halla Mountain Hot Spring or one double rafting: It is recommended to choose Xiaosha River for winter rafting. Although the rafting time is short, it is very photogenic and you can definitely see the rime! And you don’t have to worry about getting wet, it is very gentle, especially suitable for taking pictures

AAMAR ANWARSo if you are coming here, you are going to Wanda Ski Resort. There are so many many hotels in the area that it really doesn't matter so much which one you pick.
Holiday Inn is one of the furthest away from the resort, but the price reflects this. However, it is still only a 10-15min walk (even when it's cold and icy) from the resort. The hotel is busy, there will be wait for the front desk, this is why service got 4/5, but the actual information from staff was okay (no English though so god bless my Chinese partner)
The hotel has a mini cinema, a restaurant and access to the ski slopes. You can hire ski's, snowboards along with all the boots and clothing required so you don't need to worry about that.
In the hotel is the rental place, you rent your gear and you simply walk out of the hotel and you are at the ski slopes. Please note this is NOT the same 10min walk to Wanda ski resort, the hotel has its own access to the mountain and you use that.
The restaurant is fine and breakfast was a buffet with mainly Chinese but some western stuff too.
The room, it's not large, but not cramped. Very warm, we even needed the windows open at -40C outside to avoid being too hot.
There is a mini supermarket in the hotel, but a better 24 hour store across the road.
I think for the money paid compared to other hotels, its very good value. Maybe other hotels have bigger rooms or more restaurants, but as every hotel is next to each other, I wouldn't bother paying more to get one closer to the resort as you can save thousands of RMB for a 1 min walk.
And as most of your time will be spent in Wanda ski resort, you won't be in your room much.
I doubt I would return to Changbaishan / Wanda Ski resort as an area, but if I did, then as long as the value was still there, Holiday Inn Express is a good enough choice

Throughout my stay, the staff remained incredibly helpful, always ready to assist with any request, whether it was recommendations for local dining or arranging transportation.
The accommodations were nothing short of luxurious. My room was spacious, beautifully designed, and offered stunning views. The attention to detail in the decor and amenities truly reflects the high standards of the Park Hyatt brand.
The resort’s facilities were also impressive, with a fantastic outside hot spring in the snow that provided a perfect retreat after a long day on the slopes. The dining options were delightful, featuring a range of delicious cuisine that catered to all tastes. Each meal was a culinary delight, and the service was impeccable.
Another highlight was the ski access; the location is ideal for both beginners and experienced skiers. The staff at the ski resort provided excellent guidance and support, making it easy to enjoy the slopes.

KKamenikThe hotel is in a nice skiing area. Just leave and there is the first lift. The rooms are sufficient but maybe not standard for a 4 stars hotel. Example no rain shower, no iron to iron shirts.
Unfortunately the room we booked the heating was not working which is by minus 12 a no go. Therefore it was necessary to move in another room. The employees were very nice and helpful and tried to do the best to solve it immediately.
The restaurant I tried only 2 times. For the Christmas dinner and one for lunch a noodle soup. The dinner was just a ok except the backed ham was delicious. The noodle soup was not really good for the price.
The breakfast is standard Chinese breakfast. I loved there the noodle soup. (Why not at lunch?)
and the Chinese pancake are also very good.
The lobby bar is nice place to relax but the training for the stuff have to improved. I asked for semi dry red wine. Lately I picked a bottle by myself based on the grapes and my experience cause no help here and to open the bottle the waiter had to search first and opener. But the Cabernet Sauvignon was good. A recommendation is the coffee black no milk no sugar in the lobby bar. Very good.
Worth mention there were a lot of coupons included in thbooking like for skiing, hot springs and son on.
Summary the hotel is worth staying but they should also consider some improvements.

KKyle Euan RossThis is a fantastic hotel to stay at whilst skiing in Changbaishan. With it’s own ski hire desk and the cost of hire and you ski pass included in the rate (this is not well advertised), all you need to do is grab your gear and take a few steps out to the lifts.
The hotel itself is huge and the rooms well presented. There are good food options in the hotel and the small town, just outside the door, has a good few more.
The breakfast buffet was really good with a wide choice for everyone. We did not sample the restaurants in the hotel though.
Only small let down was the slight end of season feel when we were there. We had club access but there was a reluctance to keep restocking the beer and wine as it was used up. Not the end of the world but it was frustrating when there was a group of us wanting to enjoy a few apres-ski drinks. There is also an outdoor pool which was lacking in heat on a couple of occasions, not sure if this was because they perceived it was quiet and not being regularly used.
These were relatively minor grips though. The staff were very friendly and helpful and all in all would be very happy to return.

GGuest UserWe recently had the pleasure of staying at this capsule hotel, and I can confidently say it was one of the best lodging experiences I’ve ever had! From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the stunning views of the surrounding snowy mountains and the frozen river. The breathtaking scenery was a perfect backdrop to my stay, making it a serene and relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life in Shanghai .
The capsules themselves were surprisingly spacious, immaculately clean, and very cozy. The modern design combined comfort with privacy, allowing me to unwind after a day of exploring. Each capsule is equipped with everything you need, which made our stay incredibly convenient. However, I would suggest the hotel to have coffee and tea sachets available in the little kitchenette for guests to make their own in the morning.
What truly set this hotel apart was the exceptional service. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive, going out of their way to ensure my experience was nothing short of perfect. They helped , recommended and accompanied us to get a ski suit for me and to take us to and from the ski resort. They were always available to offer recommendations for local attractions, which greatly enhanced my stay. The hospitality made me feel right at home.
We loved playing in the snow, making snow angels and making a big snowman.
Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend this Capsule hotel to anyone looking for a unique lodging experience that combines stunning natural beauty with top-notch service. I can’t wait to return!
