I didn't stay at this property but came here for a massage so the review is solely on the spa service and as a non-staying guest. I called to enquire and it was difficult to communicate with the spa staff over the phone as she does not speak much English and I speak no Espanol but somehow managed to make a booking. They seem quite busy and I couldn't get a longer massage so best to book a day early. I went for a 50-minute deep tissue massage which was 60,000 pesos (about USD72). The spa room is nice and spacious, very clean and also ensuite so comes with a shower. The masseur is top notch, she found my tired knots and sore areas and worked on them with enough strength. The massage was outstanding and worth every penny, felt very relaxed afterwards. Separately, I wanted to asked at the reception whether I can have dinner there, the reception staff looked bewildered and kept shaking his head, it's fine if the restaurant is not opened to outsiders, he could just explain, there's no need for such a reaction.
I really enjoyed my stay at the Tupa Hotel. The staff was great! They provided transportation to/from the airport. I went on both of their island tours, which were reasonably priced and the groups sizes were small--quite a bit smaller than some of the other groups we saw. And anything you needed, they could set up for you. They made everything so easy! The hotel itself was adequate--an older building that was kept up well. The bed was comfy, the AC worked fine (based on previous reviews, it must be new?), they had refrigerators, a small breakfast buffet, and most importantly everything was clean. The TV & wifi are only in the common area--but on Rapa Nui, who cares?! The location was perfect--in town but also on the ocean. The hotel--as well as all of Hanga Roa and Rapa Nui--felt safe. There were dogs everywhere in the town but they were all too lazy to do anything. Getting around was easy. Overall everything about the island was great, and I would recommend staying at Tupa Hotel while visiting.
The location is great for strolling around Hanga Roa. Museum, Tahai, restaurants, shopping, ATMs all within walking distance. The rooms are clean & comfortable. But i couldnt understand the total lack of ventilation. No windows in the room. French windows that you cant really keep open. A fan that barely moves - whether its on 1 or 5. The breakfast was good & the breakfast terrace lovely. ( the only spot you can get a peek at the sea). But no other meals are served. There is a counter where you can get soft drinks etc. If you are not hankering after a ” sea view' from your room, this place..is a good choice.

The Inaki Uhi was a wonderful place to stay for our 2 nights in Rapa Nui. The hotel picks up and returns guests to the airport and welcomes you with fresh leis! This is a family run hotel and the hosts are Ivonne snd Alejandre. Our room was spacious and modern with a small sitting area as well as sleeping area. There is a courtyard area outside the rooms with areas to sit and relax. The flowers there—and everywhere in Rapa Nui—are lush snd beautiful. Breakfast included fruit, juices, yogurt, coffee, and a variety of breads (fresh! There’s a bakery next door). Eggs can be prepared on request. As we were preparing to check out, we waited with our luggage and 3 coats in the lobby for our ride back to the airport-which is about 5 minutes away. We arrived in plenty of time—after checking in, we realized we had left the 3 coats at the hotel. In a panic, i couldn’t find the phone number for Inaki Uhi. We decided that my husband would stay at the airport and I would take a taxi to the hotel. I found a taxi and got in, but the driver didn’t take credit cards so I jumped out to find another taxi. The first taxi drove away. I suddenly realized that I had dropped my phone in the taxi! Using “find my phone” we knew where the phone was but had no way to get to get to it. By now, my husband had found the hotel phone number—only 45 minutes to last tome to board! Alejandro saved the day! We brought the coats and helped my husband find the phone! It was a miracle and we made our flight!we could not have done it without Alejandro’s help!!! Mission accomplished! Thank you!!
Easter Island is very beautiful and the houses are relatively simple. The reason is restricted by the Chilean national government. There are not many large hotels and the price is relatively expensive. This small holiday house is also a good choice.
The cabana is simply amazing! The 4 nights stay at Cabanas Te Maori is the best choice I made for the trip. Great location, everything you need (market, restaurants, seaside...) is just a few minutes walk. The cabana is well equipped, everything is so clean, the interior design is good (extra points for the lighting), bed is comfortable, extra towels are prepared for changing. There is a chain of small lights at the balcony, very romantic! Most importantly, WIFI is good! The owner, Patricia and her husband, are very nice and friendly. Patricia is very caring and helpful, she made sure I am well taken care of. She gave me good advice and helped to book ticket for night show (which I got the best seat at the show!), and they gave me a necklace as souvenir before sending me off to the airport, how sweet! If I have to point out something for improvement, I would say install a small shelf inside the shower, but there is a shelf right next to the shower already, so really doesn't matter. I highly recommend this place and will definitely book again!

Ahu Tahai
乖乖小咪Tahai Stones are a row of stone statues on the northwest coast of Easter Island, arranged neatly on the cliff edge, like a row of soldiers guarding Easter Island. The high and low fall is very interesting, especially against the evening glow, it seems particularly beautiful.
Museo Antropologico P. Sebastian Englert
Ccoo***anThe first and second floors did fascinate me. Renoir was my favorite painter and had lots of paintings I hadn’t seen. I found it interesting that his style had been improving over the years, so much so that his last painting reminded me of Monet’s blindness. I was sure I missed some of the pieces because the display method was a bit busy and incomprehensible, but I liked what I saw. The mix with some Cézanne and Monet was really interesting. I lost interest when we entered Modigliani and some statues. It's not about me.
Ahu Vaihu
Ccoo***anPart of the village has been rebuilt, so it is best to visit it with a guide. There is a rebuilt house (very low, you can go inside), and stone structures where they grow vegetables and chickens. The latter is the most complex and expensive structure, very interesting, they spent more effort on the chicken coup than on their own house. They did not eat eggs, but chicken was a valuable meat (other meat was rat and dog). The site also had guards, as in all villages on the island. The Moai were thrown out and have not been re-erected so far. There are also some red stone headdresses lying nearby. Some of them have carvings, but they are newer.
Ana Te Pahu
MM32***233 different caves down some uneven stone steps in the banana forest. Very dark hope, my flashlight can't penetrate the darkness completely. Keep going to the end and see the cool opening outside. You need a pass to enter, it takes about 15-20 minutes walk. Enjoy!
Playa Pea
MM32***23[View] Playa Pea is one of the few beaches on the island, especially in the urban part, it is located on the shore of the bay! [Fun] There are many tour operators and restaurants around it
Ahu Riata
Ccoo***an[View] Such a beautiful place, you can enjoy the beach! Before going to Mirador Tahai to watch the sunset, it is really worth stopping. [Fun] This Moai Island is conveniently located. It’s in front of the port and you can see exactly what Moai is, and you can see other attractions in Rapa Nui National Park without paying 80 USD.
