We went to Europe to celebrate our anniversary,we booked a hotel on zurich and we chose the wrong city, so we stay on moxy on rapperswil,at first we were surprise how far was from zurich but it was a good thing the customer service was amazing,the guys on front desk are really helpful and friendly Rafael,Mona and marina thanks for making us feel like home,hotel is nice and clean has a nice view of the city front the roof top,highly recommended this place thanks for the amazing service

We were for the second time at Hotel Sorell Speer. This time not alone as a couple, but with my mother. I booked the two rooms long in advance, directly over the hotel (chain). My wish: two rooms next to each other or vis à vis. At the arrival we were treated as if we had never been in this or another sorell. A “Welcome back” would have been happy. The rooms were then on the same floor, but not next to each other. That disappointed us. Especially since it was our only wish. The rooms OK. Beautiful clean. Parquet floor. No coffee machine on the room, shower in the bathtub, furniture remember the 80s. All right, but not for the price. Breakfast: classic. Nothing exceptional. There are still only two juices and not a selection of five+ as in the other Sorell. Why the tea is served in the small Espresso Tassli is not reached us. Nice staff. When checking out everything very well 0815. No “to soon” “good trip”,....at all the time, a water was made for on the way. Globally speaking: we didn't feel very welcome, our wish was not taken into account and not corrected as I said at check in, breakfast ok. Price performance was not right at the weekend for us personally.

Seit über einem Jahrzehnt ist unsere Firma mit XXX-Gästen/Jahr hier im Hotel Stammgast und wir - waren - immer äußerst zufrieden, mit dem Hotel und dem Restaurant. Nunmehr gibt es zahlreiche Änderungen hier im Haus, leider aus der Sicht eines Gastes alle in die falsche Richtung. Als Stammgast kommt man sich schon beim Checkin vor wie ein Fremder: die praktischen Parkplätze hinter dem Haus, mit kurzem Weg zur Rezeption, sind leider Geschichte, dort stehen jetzt Reisemobile eines gewerblichen Anbieters; auch als Stammgast nur Checkin mit Ausweis, während man sein Fahrzeug samt Gepäck mangels freiem Parkplatz auf der Straße vor der geschlossenen Tiefgarage abstellen muss, zur Belohnung erhält der Stammgast dann das „Katzenzimmer“ im 1. OG mit Beleuchtung der Straßenlaterne direkt vor dem Fenster und An- und Abfahrtsverkehr des Discounters nebenan soz. auf Augenhöhe; die bisherige „Willkommens-Wasserflasche“ ist offenkundig ebenfalls dem Rotstift zum Opfer gefallen….. Und im Restaurant geht es dann im gleichen Stil weiter: der Stammgast erhält kein Brot und Butter, kein Amuse-Gueule mehr und die Portion des Zürcher Geschnetzelten hat sich ungefähr halbiert, dabei ist auch die Qualität nicht unbedingt besser geworden. Zur Krönung des Ganzen wird einem sodann noch vom Service eröffnet, dass es grundsätzlich nicht mehr erwünscht sei, die Speisenrechnung auf das Zimmer zu schreiben. Diese Art der Änderungen sind leider keine Verbesserungen, sondern eine deutliche Verschlechterung.

In the town, located next to the train station parking lot, you can pay for parking. Need to check in by yourself, no need to see employees

I have to be honest was a bit sceptical when my company booked me in here, it’s on top of garage, next to a highway and no staff onsite. I was pleasantly surprised, the single room was huge, sound proofed from the highway. The garage was really handy for a snack or drink, the continental breakfast was plenty. It’s in walking distance of pubs and restaurants in Lachen and the train station. I will stay here again if in the area.

Hi everyone, We have visited hotel Seedam plaza in Pfäffikon many times and always leaving this place with nice and positive emotions. The hotel itself it’s very comfortable,clean and has a nice view to the lake. The food at the restaurant it’s super tasty and they have a huge choice of the wine. At the summer time they have nice terrace outside where you can have a drink and dinner with beautiful view of the sunset on the lake. It’s very easy underground parking. And it’s 10 minutes walk to the train station,which is a half hour ride to Zurich. It’s a beautiful walking pathway around the lake. And you can walk till Rapperswil that’s is a pretty little city with a castle. Near the hotel you have a Seedam shopping mall where you can buy whichever you need. Just wanted to say thanks to all personal of the hotel for being very nice to us,and particularly The front office manager Jan Klingelfuss. And our special thanks to Videsh and Juan at the hotel bar. This guys are super nice,professional and polite,they always remember our preferences. We see that they work very hard to make all the guests very happy. And they make the best cocktails in whole Switzerland! Highly recommend this hotel for business or leisure. All best, Alla Goddard
