Best Interlaken Hotels

Very close to the East Station, only 10 minutes walk with luggage. The surrounding scenery is also nice. The only downside is that on the first day of stay (Saturday, 12/7), I don't know why the church bells across the street rang frequently, which affected my sleep a bit (maybe it was a Christmas event)

The overall experience is average, basically self-help.

The view is super great with the amount of money paid for. Breakfast choice was surprised by house made yogurt with great view.

The hotel located really near to the train station. It was a best choice for tourist who never visit Interlaken and need some place that is easy to be found. It also got a great lake and mountain view from the room. The room itself is clean and beautiful. Really recommended place to stay.

Location wise, nothing much to critique as it’s situated right beside the train station. You can’t get anything more convenient than this. We like the modern design of the room, generally. The only negative point we experienced was the smell. There was a smell (smells like pee) inside the room but surprisingly not the toilet. Toilet actually smells better than the room. Ventilation was poorly managed, I guess. And the staff said there’s nothing they could do about it and to my biggest surprise, the hotel does not have an air freshener at all! Contrary to those reviews saying how good the breakfast is, I find it quite disappointing. Food selection is so limited and the quality wasn’t better or even on par with the typical hotel breakfast standard. Here I would like to commend on a particular staff named Iulia (not sure if I spell it correctly). She is nice, friendly and accommodating. I would like to thank her for her hospitality. Overall, I would probably come back to stay again at Essential for its perfect location.

Near location to bus & train station-Interlaken West. Very satisfying breakfast. They give a blue card for free bus ride. I would definitely choose to stay here again. There was a slight mistake due to booking several months in advance, but the staff managed to find a new room for us in the same area. The location is very good, convenient to travel. The kitchen facilities are very good. Spacious room, 1 unit, 2 bedrooms, comfortably accommodates 4 people.

The hotel is only 5 minutes walk from the West Station. The old-fashioned house is clean and comfortable. The indoor area is also OK. Breakfast is ordinary, panel, ham. Recommended to stay. Very convenient.

The hotel's facilities and services are very good! The location is also very convenient! The bus only takes 10 minutes to the Central Station. There are many restaurant options and shopping places nearby. There is a supermarket just one stop away by bus or about 700 meters walk.

The room was relatively small. The family room I ordered had two small beds in the attic, but there was no air conditioning in the room. The attic was soaked in the sun during the day and was very hot at night, making it impossible to sleep. I don’t understand that it’s very hot in summer and there is no air conditioning.
