Do not trust them with your credit card information. Upon check in a $200 deposit is taken which is standard for some properties. After checking out I logged into my online banking and found that my credit card was charged an additional $500 on top of the room rate and deposit. I called the property at 10:30om(when I realized the charge) and was advised that the charge was manager approved and that no notes were on our file. I inquired why I wasn’t called before the charge was applied and no answer could be provided. The next morning at 9am I called the property again and eventually spoke to a duty manager who advised that there was damage to an ottoman. We never used the ottomans in the room. I was basically accused of doing the damage as their staff check the rooms before and after each stay and that there was no damage reported before our stay. I know matter of a fact that we did not use the ottomans in the room during our stay and advised the staff member. I asked her why we were charged without being advised and she advised that the case was still under investigation and that the hall cameras need to be reviewed - why??? The ottoman wasn’t used within the room let alone the hall. But if the situation is still under investigation why charge me an additional $500. We have not been informed of the extent of the damage or the reason the ottoman costs $700. Be very careful at this property. Fully inspect your room and all pieces of furniture so that you aren’t charged and falsely accused as we were.
We stayed in this hotel for Canada day weekend. And upon check in we had a very warm welcome and to name them, Sai, Kristine, Bee and their Supervisor Zaid. They are all very helpful, friendly and accommodating. The hotel's breakfast was good too with lot's of choices to choose from and the F&B staff were very attentive to the needs of the guests. These are some of the reasons to come back and stay there again.

The location is excellent and walking distance to the most famous farmers market. It is also close to Walmart. Convenient transportation. Very good value for money. The room is quite big and it is a two 1.5 large bed, which is rare in North America.
I booked the hotel for a relaxing night away- which is why I reserved a room with a jacuzzi and fireplace. Check in was great, easy, with friendly staff. When I got into the room I made sure everything worked. Everything was very clean minus the tv remote- no big deal, I brought sanitizing wipes. I tested the fireplace as I was intending to use it. It made a loud vibrating noise which wasn't very pleasant. I advised the front desk but I don't think he understood what I meant as he assured me they could look into it without going in the room. When I came back to my room there was a gentlemen in the hallway who asked if it was me that said there was an issue with the fireplace, to which I said yes. He said to let him in to see it. He didn't identify himself nor was he wearing any clothing that suggested he worked for the hotel. He entered the room and began touching light switches- without sanitizing his hands or wiping down surfaces and walked in with shoes on. I was very disappointed and annoyed. Long story short he said he couldn't fix the problem and I asked for him to let the front desk know. I heard nothing else about it. I didn't end up using the fireplace since it wasn't a pleasant noise. In the morning I went to grab the breakfast to go bag, totally understandable with covid. It came with a kind granola bar inside- when I looked closely the expiry date was for March 2020! Clearly it was a purchase from when covid started. Front desk was advised and quickly rectified the problem. Again nothing mentioned again at check out.
This was a 2 night stay, for 4 female friends, that were attending a local charity event. My husband booked the room, a large suite, on my behalf. I received a confirmation from Hilton, that I had a reservation booked. At check in, I was informed that my husband ( who was out of town and unavailable) had to be contacted, to confirm and approve the reservation. We were not let into the room until he was contacted. Nevermind that the confirmation hard copy, which I had with me, showed my name - I was treated with complete disrespect. The clerk insisted that she speak with my husband, dialed his number in front of me, without even asking my permission to do so (as would be a normal courtesy). I, nor any of my 3 friends who are extensive world wide travellers, have ever been treated so unprofessionally at a hotel before. Now, this was not the only problem we ran into. Briefly, this details what we experienced during the full stay: 1 - the suite had 1 chair, no coffee table or similar ( seating for 3 people in a 6 person suite?) 2- When chairs and tables were requested, we were brought a folding card table and 3 stacking chairs, 3- Room had no extra toilet roll, no tissues in box and no extra, towels for 2 people not 4 4- Garbage receptacle in room was a tiny comparted bin for both recycle and regular, which couldnt have held more than 1 wine bottle per side, 5- Breakfast: first day, real cutlery and plates, second day - paper plates and bamboo cutlery, that proved unusable. Food was terrible - cold potatoes, rubber eggs, yogurt served in a large open bowl, very limited selection. 6- Coffee cups were of a design that, no exaggeration here, could not be pulled apart - we had other guests hold the stack, while we tried to seperate the cups. And to top it, the lids were too small to fit the cups. 7 - As well, I asked to speak to the manager at check in, and was told she was not available. I indicated to the clerk that I did wish to speak with her, when she was available. Never did talk to her. The local management is completely responsible, for all - ill trained staff, hotel supplies, quality of food and rooms. Absolutely would not recommend this hotel, the others in the area are vastly superior.
Our check-in and out was easy, very nice staff. We have stayed here previously and had always had an above average experience, this time we found the hotel dirty and rooms not cleaned to other Delta/Marriott standards. We understand that due to the pandemic staffing shortages have occurred, and this may be the case here. The room was a king sized bed, nice shower/bathroom set up. The pool was busy and the hot tub closed, also the gym appeared closed as well, likely due to COVID restrictions. The main issue was the lack of vaccuming, old nail clippings on the floor and dirt visible. The dresser was very dirty inside so we laid the drycleaning bag under our belongings. There was tape on the ceiling, not sure what that was about. We would stay here again, I am not sure I would seek it out as we did before. Very convenient location to restaurants and shopping.
The place is spacious, very clean, nice view on the 18 floor, have all amenities stove , fridge, washer, dryer , gym and swimming pool. The host very friendly and was nice. I will definitely go back again . Also the price is reasonable and affordable, it is like a condominium, not like a hotel. Thank you.
