All the rooms have a view of the water. Hotel appears to be new or recently renovated. Still some finishing they were working on. Did not affect our stay. The Shore restaurant onsite was very good but not open for breakfast. Our room did not have a closet, not sure if there are plans to add one. Situated on the harbour which has a nice area to explore. Staff friendly and professional. Nice pool with natural light. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was clean but the carpets were stained. Not sure if they need to replace the carpet or give it a good cleaning. I would not come back. The service was excellent, check in and check out and the girls were pleasant. The breakfast was basic, cereal, muffins, juice, coffee, toast, etc.

Wow. From the perspective of the highway, this looks like the worst idea for a hotel ever. But actually it's a true palace that resides inside that grassy golden-horseshoe patch surrounded by moats of cloverleaf interchange. I had a very classy suite that let me do my work in style with coffee and some news updates, then kick back with a glass of wine and a zoom event. All that was missing was a luxurious robe, but really, this is just our new world of lack -- nothing against them.

Top shelf...first class...staff and facilities above par...I was only there for one night that turned into 2 and had to rebook hours after checking out...same room was available...perfect...a suite was a bit much for my needs but I was grateful for the space...you should take FOX TV off of your TV line-up and put MSNBC in...there is enough hatred and lies in this world with out adding more by them.

GGuest UserBased on the reviews, I requested renovated rooms on a higher level floor. We were booked into two adjoining rooms on the 8th floor (hotel has 10 floors). We did not pay extra for any kind of ”view” (other than perhaps the 10pm fireworks, not sure what else might have been viewable, however). The rooms were, in fact, recently renovated and were very nice: very spacious with sleek/modern furniture and an updated/modern bath. Beds were very comfortable. The only minor nit was the rooms could have used a 2nd mirror; there was just 1 mirror over the separate-from-shower/toilet-room sink, really only enough room for 1 person to use comfortably at a time. Housekeeping came once during our 4 night stay, which was about right. All staff members were friendly and helpful. Location was great - everything was very walkable from here, and yet it was not too close to be overly noisy/congested. We would stay here again!

GGuest UserWe did not know what to expect from a hotel so near to busy Clifton Hill, and were so happy with this choice. From the moment we walked in we felt positive. The staff was friendly at check-in and each staff member we encountered was also friendly and helpful. The halls, elevator, breakfast room and most importantly, our room was spotless and comfortable. We met a man who was cleaning during our stay, and he was thorough. Even in the elevator he was aware of fingerprints he quickly removed. The parking lot was adequate and with the hotel parking stub, was free. I noticed while looking for a place, that some hotels charged hefty parking prices. We slept well for our two night stay. Breakfast was adequate, nothing to write home about, but it didn't matter. If I return, I would definitely choose this place.

Either salad or French onion soup to start with fresh bread, butter, striploin, chicken, pasta, prime rib, desert was black forest cake or mocha pudding. Plus tea or coffee. Btw no raw or brown sugar available. CoCos steak house never answered their phone after several calls over several hours. In the package it includes one meal at the Skylon one meal at COCOs Steak House. I assumed the dinner would be comparable and the breakfast would be decent. Was I in for a wake up call. Upon checking in which is slow and guests are very frustrated with the speed and etiquette mannerisms they receive at this hotel. In 3 days I never heard ; hello, welcome, thanks for staying, good morning, how was your stay, have a good day, good afternoon, etc. Upon entering our room it was modern, wood floors, wallpaper that was peeling on every wall, sliding door that barely worked, probably from 1970s. TV was small, remote was old and didn't work well. The towels were not in the room, no wash clothes etc. I called the front desk but had to go myself to get them. The bath mat never came. The bottom of the tub is extremely slippery, dangerously. The bed however was extremely comfortable and the linens high quality and spotless clean. The pillows were great as well. The rest of the room was clean with no complaints. Although I requested a higher floor, we received a ground floor, so no balcony or outside furniture to relax. Also for security reasons I prefer upper floors. Dinner at Skylon was great. The views, the food, and service were all excellent, although my meat was slightly overcooked it wasn't worth mentioning to the server. Dinner the following night at COCOs steak house was the complete opposite. The dinner selection was quite limited. Choice of one entrée, no appetizer, no desert. ! You had the choice of personal size pizza, chicken, prime rib, pasta. Although I had rare prime rib the night before, I ordered it again. They included choice of potato and veggies. I had baked potato. They don't have the loaded option although they have butter, sour cream, and bacon. Dinner arrived and was a sad story. Although I asked for rare, it was obviously cooked days earlier and reheated to well done. The portion was small, meat was extremely chewy, and no flavor at all. Served on a small diner plate with sour cream in a plastic cup. Definitely not worth $140 that was the price difference per night for the upgrade for the meal package. Breakfast at COCOs was sad too. It was limited to tea, or coffee, no option for juice, pancakes, or waffles Two eggs, bacon or sausage with toast but rye wasn't available either day just because it wasn't I was told. Lol. RroiberadorThe location is perfect! There is no kettle for coffee, no slippers, no toothbrush and no bath tub. These are free items/things i get or have when I was travelling in China. It is quite normal to have a kettle for tea or coffee. I understand that there is no bath tub because I did not actually check the amenities when I booked it. I was at the 29th floor and my view was the city and not the falls but its ok because that is what I paid for. The best thing is if you go to the 25th floor you will have an amazing view of the Niagara Falls. I would still highly recommend this hotel for those who will go to Niagara Falls. Thank you Tower Hotel...

WWeekend travelerWe celebrated Mother’s Day in Howard Johnson hotel last weekend. The location is super good, which close to everything. Lots of restaurants nearby and only 10 minutes walk to Niagara Falls. Hotel room is clean with a big window. We read the reviews before we booked it. Though some comments are extreme, some said it was very good but some were disappointed, we would love to try. Luckily, we have no complaints. The room rate was double on Mother’s Day than other weekends.

This is a budget hotel. This place was budget clean with a free budget breakfast. Therefore, we give this place a budget hotel rating. You pay for what you get. We felt safe at the hotel, clean enough where you don't mind taking your shoes off when you come in and the breakfast they fed us was edible, dry pancakes, value cereals - but the coffee was horrid. Tasted like stale decaf. Needless to say the breakfast did not play a favorable part in the overall experience. Would we consider coming back? Maybe, but it's not a place we would prioritize on a future visit to the Falls.

GGuest UserThe location of this hotel is faultless! Absolutely perfect to be able to see the falls and both Clifton Hill and Victoria Avenue are a short walk away too. As per the other reviews, the hotel rooms are quite dated in terms of the decor and furniture. But our two rooms didn’t have any problems with them. We were on the 6th floor and had a great view of the falls (although the windows could do with a clean!) I would HIGHLY recommend anyone staying here to pre-book breakfast (or a room with breakfast included), because the food is super tasty, filling and the service is great AND you sit over looking the falls too. Why would you leave for breakfast elsewhere when this is your view?!

GGuest UserI was a tad decepted in the facilities available upon booking. When I looked through the pictures of the hotel it was shown and depicted as having a restaurant with great views of Niagara Falls. Hotel does not have this it's images from another place. Hotel was a decent price and quite clean. We got in at about 10pm and when we got to our room and my friend went to use the bathroom the door came off one hinge... did get it fixed the next day but reception did not answer the phone at all even in the after hours number. Breakfast was OK but the breakfast area is right next to the pool so you do get the chlorine smell. They did store our luggage but it wasn't very secure was just behind the desk where if anyone wanted to they could quite easily get to the bags. Otherwise most things were within a 10 minute walk hotel did have a lot of pamphlets available for local activities.
