I was on business trip to Belo Horizonte and my customer recommended this Hotel Mercure Belo Horizonte Vila da Serra. The hotel room is nice and comfortable. The staff are all friendly. The breakfast is reasonably good. Would strongly recommend business travellers to consider this hotel if destination is not very far away from this hotel.

Hotel with educated staff but not careful. - Cold and unpersonal reception. - Restaurant with few cardoptions. For example: the Macron was cold. - Time to answer a few requests very slow. Examples of disappointment in the hotel: some paintings of disappointed lifts; the 3 watches that mark hours from different cities in the world literally mark the right time, but the different minutes, with differences of 10 minutes. This is not detail or accessory, it is not a detail. - It is definitely not a world class hotel, nor a regional class. Maybe it is a neighborhood hotel! - Service is made of detail, not just education! There are many things to improve. As suggested, training the staff in the service and not only in the service. The service is to fulfill or to give a plan to fulfil a scale. The service is to go beyond, it is really to focus on SERVICE.

Eu e minha família hospedamos para o Reveillon. Checkin dia 31/12/23 e fomos informados que o restaurante funcionaria até as 21:00 para pedidos. Íamos para uma festa. Descemos para o restaurante e fizemos o pedido as 19:00. O pedido saiu apenas as 23:00. Uma completa bagunça. O restaurante Santa Fé que atende a rede de hotéis dispensou vários funcionários deixando para tender todo o hotel que estava com ocupação máxima apenas 3 pessoas na cozinha (novatas) e 2 garçons. Os funcionários bem educados, estavam exaustos, choraram com grosseria e estresse de hospedes e ainda pediram desculpas. Caótico. O hotel e o restaurante sabiam do caos prévio, da lotação e ainda sim dispensaram funcionários. No dia seguinte apesar de dizerem que estava tudo regularizado, só tinha frango ou peixe. Não havia pessoas na noite do dia 31/12 para limpeza. Na recepção, Sr. Luis apoiou cada necessidade. Brilhante atendimento da Sra. Sandra e das cozinheiras, Sra. Maria, e do outro garçom Sr. Fernando. Seguraram o nervoso da situação e com bom humor souberam conduzir o caos. Na recepção do dia seguinte ficaram 2 pessoas nem tão acessíveis e nem tão educadas como na noite do caos.

Não vi experiência 4 estrelas nenhuma. A começar pelo chuveiro que com água quente parecia uma bica, o ar condicionado pingando água, o estacionamento apesar de ser parte do hotel é cobrado à parte e não é barato. Mas para mim o pior mesmo foi o fato de ter que fazer o checkout 15 minutos antes das 6 e não ter nem um café preto pra tomar. Conversei com o restaurante na noite anterior e me informaram que excepcionalmente naquele dia o café seria após as 6:30 e nada poderia ser feito. Certamente não volto nunca mais e nenhum conhecido meu se hospeda aqui.

Old, dirty and run down accommodation! I will never ever again book a room in here in the future! I would not even stay complimentary. The staff was friendly, although English skills were poor and I don’t speak Portuguese. As I entered the room I could see all the dirt on the floor and especially in the corners and next to the walls. The bathroom was outdated and the glass doors were also not cleaned properly, as you could see lime residues all over. As I just arrived from Overseas I decided to have a nap though. I immediately saw all the red and/or brown stains on the duvet, because there was no sheet underneath, but just on top. I think there were not so many hotel experiences in my life, which were so disgusting like this. First I thought, that I will complain at the reception, but then it came to my mind, that the staff would not understand what I mean due to the language barrier. I threw the duvet out of the bed and covered myself with towels, which were not as dirty as the duvet. Actually I should have left the hotel immediately, which I did so only twice before in my life, but I had this one night only in Brasil and I was terrible tired. After a short rest I had a shower, but there was no shower gel in the bathroom, shampoo-and conditioner dispenser were empty. The toilet flush didn’t work properly either, for only a piece of toilet paper you had to flush many times to disappear. Honestly this was one of my worst hotel stays and I don’t want to undergo anything like that again!

Very recommended to stay, cost-effective, the environment is very good. Beautiful environment, good geographical location, convenient transportation, comfortable and sanitary rooms, service staff are very enthusiastic, facilities are very humane, high-speed network signal is good, the view outside the window is good. The design of the room's small pendulum is also very distinctive. Next time, check in.

The team is super good and ensuring that we feel at home away from home. Ana louisa is a superstart creating memories for all of us and collegues from Africa De soul. I admit I was afraid to host here for the reviews, but I was surprised!! I found the hotel good yes, starting with the fabulous location and I didn't see any problems that were mentioned here in no dependency and in the hotel room. My room was super clean, everything worked normally, TV had internet, that worked super well, wi-fi was great, the shower was great, bed clothes were super clean and the air conditioning ice perfect, I stayed in room 1203!! The breakfast coffee was very good, had everything that a hotel breakfast coffee should have, my only reserve is to be a plastic cup, deserved a glass cup for the value of the daily, which is not low!! I am quite right in my reviews, here in that hotel I thought everything was in line, maybe they have improved the hotel as a whole in the last months, anyway I loved the hotel and would host again in it!!

Property is poorly maintained ( lock of the bedroom door was broken; aisles were very dark with sensor motion lights that would take quite a while to turn on, among other things). Accommodation supposed to be ready at arrival but there was only one towel in bathroom. I requested more and they sent it. There were only2 pillows in bed. I requested more and they said they did not have more (?!). I had to ask to talk to manager in order to get two more pillows for bed. Bed was too soft and uncomfortable. Bedroom very tiny. Quality of products at breakfast regrettable to say the least. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.
