Very clean room with a big kingsize bed for me one tourist to sleep on is such a comfort in Sydney. Love the tv and tv programs especially project on Channel 10. The french lady in the office is helpful and will assist you in everything and the cleaners are also friendly to talk to. For us Potts point is the coolest, Neighbourhood/village in sydney, this apartment block that is partly hotel, with its art deco charm, is a fantastic representation of the area, it is located in a quiet part considering it border with the cross/*****, we stayed in one of the un-renovated studios, however it had a quirky 70's charm, the studio is huge, with plenty of room, with a workable kitchen and dining table, the bed was a king with a extra single doubling as a sofa, all in all a lovely apartment. The reception staff, (jade), was helpful and very friendly, accomodating my elderly mother, she had a wonderful week stay and cant wait to come back, stay with these guys.

Sidney was very mocht worth the visite. The city as well as the hotel made that we wished we could stay longer. The city offers so mocht places to go that we had to make choices; we visite of course the Opera House, the Royal Botanical Gardens, Hyde Park and St Marys Cathedral.

We stayed here in early January and chose it based on its value for money and proximity to the Sydney Cricket Ground (as we went to the cricket). It was a nice walk from our hotel to the SCG, and the hotel itself was lovely - friendly staff, clean room and yummy breakfast on offer. I'd highly recommend for those on a budget as this hotel has everything you need. We didn't check out the busy Greek restaurant adjacent, that's for another trip!

Great location and great people. For the price it is very good. Points of criticism: - If you have the upper bed, you don't have a socket on the bed. You may be lucky that there is an extension cable - there are no curtains on the beds. So zero privacy

The reception is where the feel good experience of this hotel stops. Booked a Studio Executive room which the pictures on their website shows as spacious with a couch and small dining table for two. Was allocated a pokey small backpackers style room hardly big enough for a single bed let allow the queen bed they managed to squeeze in it. Reception were hardly helpful in trying to allocate us the type of room we had paid for and had booked. Location is the only thing this hotel has in its favour. Pictures of the rooms on their website are misleading so be careful of what your booking because it might not be what’s shown.

Our week stay at Edgecliff Lodge was great. Location is excellent; just a short trip to the city by bus (across the road from the Motel), by train (a short walk to Edgecliff Station) or by ferry (a pleasant walk to Double Bay wharf or Darling Point). Our room was comfortable with all the facilities we required. It was quiet, overlooking the neighbouring gardens. Our bathroom was newly renovated and the shower hot water was excellent. The supplied continental breakfast was ideal. The individual air-conditioning of our room was very good, enhanced with the ability to open both windows. Wi-Fi was great. The service we received from Tiffany at the reception was second to none. She went out of her way to welcome us and make our stay comfortable. Room service was good with cleaning and fresh towels every day (except for one day). We had some issues with the delivery of our breakfast for a couple of days (which was remedied by Tiffany and her associate without any trouble). We thoroughly recommend this accommodation for a short or longer stay – it is certainly good value for accommodation of this standard.

Friendly customer service and hotel guests. Clean and tidy. Only the fridge is too full, and no laundry machine yet. The big plus is the location, next to the King Cross entrance at Darlinghurst road.

The innkeeper should reconsider how to use people here. There is an elderly woman staying here, and often works for her elderly uncle when he is on leave. She obviously became like the boss there. If guests are not on her side, she will find excuses to correct them, such as kicking them out... The guests staying there must listen to her, otherwise, she will make up stories and boycott them. out of there. With the ignorance and consent of the hotel manager there. The staff are so friendly and accomodating. They went above and beyond what we asked for. The hotel room was spacious, the views incredible and nothing was too difficult to arrange. The check in and late night staff were amazing. We needed extra items and they were no trouble to get.
