Best One Mile Hotels

This hotel is great. There are a lot of wild animals in the hotel and it is very close to the beach. It is recommended to watch the starry sky here at night. You can see the Milky Way is very beautiful.

5 star resort environment! huge lake surrounded the resort, 3 SPA with warm temperature. Lab pool (also warm temperature) and gym: clean and good privacy. Our room got bathtub with spa function, thats was awesome. Thankfully a kind Receptionist fixed one AC and change a room for us immediately due to the room facilities malfunction, it was 12pm !!

A bit disappointed that Trip.com didn’t give you the option to claim NSW vouchers. Landmark Resort provide excellent customer service, best I had ever experienced. Sam was amazing on our arrival and very helpful. Floors were sticky from soap residue, she came up within 10 minutes to wipe over tiles with clean water. Later that evening, she came up again to help me with the turning on the stove. Apartment was immaculate and well designed for a small 1 bedroom. Comfortable and modern. Lots of double PowerPoints to plug in your own devices. Beautiful view off the balcony. Excellent fast wifi. Great pool and games room (air hockey with ability to team up with a partner - 4 players, plus other games). Negatives: 1. Kitchen - No oven. Could add scissors, wooden spoon and smaller sized pan. Strange to have a huge fry pan to cook for 2 people, and on a small stove top. Also would recommend replacing Tefal type plans as they can become a health hazard when old. Bathroom - Shower head could do with an upgrade to handheld as the fixed one is small, and only wets just below shoulders, plus splashes everywhere. We made good use of the spa bath. Square toilet seats aren’t comfortable. Iron is very cheap and old. Dirt was coming out of the holes underneath and water kept spilling out of it.

We were very unhappy with the room alocated to us. We booked a partial sea view room. There was no sea view unless you stood up and were tall. The view was blocked by a white permanent stand. We went to reception to discuss this and were shown a smaller room with a view if you stood in the corner of the room. We were told the place was fully occupied so they couldn't help us any more. This wasn't correct as there were still vacancies on the website. This all left us very disappointed. On another note the breakfast staff were just lovely offering suggestions to us and other people about what to do locally. No one at the front desk made any suggestions Also at the front of our room where you could sit if you wanted to look at a white partition was overgrown with weeds as was some other parts of the resort

I don't recommend it for small families(who have young kids).. i booked 2 bedrooms appartment and when i got there i got shoked for the bedroom how far were from each other , one bedroom upstairs and one down stairs , i don't understand how they do something like that, my kids had to sleep on the sofa bed because i won't leave them sleep that far from me. When i booked it i didn't know that and when i asked them if they can change the room for me they said that's only what we have we don't have 1 bedroom appartment only 2 , i don't understand how come hotel like this hotel only have 2 bedrooms apparment , how come if couples want to book a 1 bedroom apparmtent ??

The room is large and very close to the beach. But the washing machine and dryer are very dirty and can't be used. The apartment is not cheap, 3700 for a three bedroom night. It's hard to accept that the price of the room is so bad.

The room we were originally allocated had a broken toilet seat but we were quickly moved to another room so they could repair it and we received a voucher (as compensation for the inconvenience) toward breakfast at the on-premise cafe (which was both very popular and had a good selection; on a personal note our choices were well presented and very tasty). The location is excellent as it is central to the CBD/foreshore area and on-premise parking was plentiful. Whilst we didn't use it, the pool area looked excellent too. Our Garden View room was very comfortable and quiet with everything you could expect bar the kitchen sink. I'd definitely consider this a primary option for accommodation on future visits to Nelson Bay.

The hotel is in a great location, close to the beach, restaurants and shops. Check in was a bit odd, had to go into the pub to get my key, but the room was absolutely beautiful. Very clean and modern, absolutely loved it!! Checking out was easy, just locked the door and popped the key in the checking out box. Car park has limited spaces so can be a bit difficult. But overall we were very happy with the accommodation.
