We stayed one night at this motel as part of a road trip. It’s a small motel on the busy Pacific Highway. It has an Asian influence both in reception and the grounds and has a kitchen that delivers Chinese food to the room. Apparently it’s very good! Our room was tiny but we knew that when booking. It had a Queen and single bed but the friendly guy at reception said it would be $10 extra to use the single bed. That was OK as we had only booked a Queen. The bathroom was really small. 3m x 1m. It would be difficult for a large person to navigate. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the wifi was good and although small, the room was more than adequate for one night. We could park the car right outside our door. There was a microwave which is not mentioned in the room details. We heard hardly any noise from the Highway in room 6 close to back of property. We were happy with our stay.
Location! Location! With in 1 min walking distance of where I needed to be. Shopping mall within the same distance. Friendly customer service on both days. Added bonus, enjoyed the food. Multiple down stairs sitting rooms for customers, a good stay.
Amazing and Excellent service, room was clean & tidy. Shower water pressure is to die for! Amazing. Currently the Motor Inn is under refurbishment. But amazingly great potential and well needed upgrades are being done. Motel Manager was exceptionally helpful, high welcoming attitude and is taking a modern take on this Motel. . I highly recommend this Motel! Perfect location, The Kidney Shaped Pool is old fashioned but well maintained and is spacious!
I look forward to returning back here to see the future results and renovations To this great Motel!

The place is simple, but incredibly comfortable with everything you need for a good nights sleep whilst in transit. It has great facilities (pool, spa, sauna, playground, tennis courts etc and restaurant / room service with a large menu). The staff are the biggest highlight, and we’d like to give a big shout out to Sam who was an absolute delight from the moment we checked in. Warm, competent, natural and knows how to go the extra mile without it seeming contrived. She was particularly brilliant with our children, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Very grateful to have inadvertently found this place for our overnight! Would happily come back again.
First: the good. The reception staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. The air conditioning worked well and the room was quiet. The not-so-good: I found the bed very uncomfortable and woke up with a back ache. Just one rather flat pillow too. I know mattress firmness is an individual thing and maybe some people find these beds comfortable, but not me. The actual bad: there were no bedside tables in the room. I’ve never ever stayed at a hotel with no bedside tables before. I was travelling with my mum who needs to use a CPAP machine and she had to push her bed across the room so she could use the built-in desk by the window to rest and plug in her machine. The bathroom was a weird sort of dropped-in prefabricated quarter-circle that you have to step up into, and the shower floor was plastic and spongy and felt like I was going to fall through. There was a sign in the bathroom warning us that steam from the shower could set off the smoke alarms and if that happened we would be liable for the fire brigade call-out fee of $1500. Despite this there was no extractor fan in the bathroom! There was also a sign asking us not to boil the kettle under the smoke alarm for the same reason. But that’s where they keep the kettle… The room also had an unpleasant musty smell, like the carpets had got wet and mouldy. We tried to open the window for fresh air but it was so noisy we had to close it again. So here are my suggestions for making this hotel a more pleasant place to stay: Add some bedside tables. Even just one to share between the two beds. Get the carpets cleaned, or replaced. Change the smoke alarms. Most smoke alarms aren’t triggered by shower steam! Replace the pillows, or at least have more than one per bed. I acknowledge that this is a budget hotel and a no-frills approach is expected, but I’ve stayed in much cheaper places that were much more comfortable and welcoming!
The nightcap pymble hotel is a hidden treasure. When you walk through the old wooden doors, you are taken back in time to an art deco era. Great food, rooms refurbished and very comfortable and service pretty good too. David the manager is a legend and went above and beyond when my booking was mucked up. Has a bws bottle shop attached, doesn’t do breakfast but you can get a breaky pack. A top place to stay
I stayed at Seranin Gordon for a few nights, I previously stayed at Seranin Lane Cove & had such a good experience when I need a place to stay again I couldn't go past Seranin Gordon. The rooms are immaculate & brand new, the manager Patrick was very helpful and responsive. The location was amazing being so close to public transport and local shops up the road. will definitely stay again
Unlike my last stay at Nesuto in May (and in the same room - 105), which was very pleasant, I was extremely disturbed by the state of the room. On opening the cupboard to put my suitcase away I was assailed by the stench of an obviously well used and unwashed blanket. I immediately put this outside the door and requested a new one. I had to leave the cupboard open for the rest of the day to get rid of the smell. The carpet was dirty, and when I went to turn on the air conditioner I noticed that the outlets were caked with dust, but in spite of the obvious health hazard had to use it because windows are wired shut. On the positive side my encounters with staff were always polite and positive, and any request that could be dealt with was promptly attended to.
