Best Lutana Hotels

We are quite surprised and pleased with the complete amenities of our room. We have all toiletries (eg towels, shower gel, lotion, hair dryer) except tooth brush and toothpaste, smart TV, kitchen stuff (kettle, microwave, toaster, dishes and spoons). Another plus is good location with stunning lake view, many parking lots and close to the center. Although the room is quite small but we love the comfort and coziness it brings.

Stay for a week while waiting for settlement date for a new house. Most of the staff at the bar/ check in were great. Housekeeping were awesome,cleaned and replenished things every day. It was a nice experience.

Standard motel, but the price is competitive. There are microwaves, refrigerators, electric kettles, etc. in the room, and there is a Woolworth supermarket 1km away. You can buy some food yourself, and you don’t need to rush to eat their breakfast. Not far from the freeway, it's an easy drive to downtown Hobart. KFC and McDonald's are very close. Parking is free. The room was clean, the bed and equipped with electric blankets. There is a heater but no air-conditioning. If it is very hot in summer, it will be sad. It was quiet at night, but on the first day there was a storm and the door of the room was blown loudly.

It was such a great accommodation experience that I cancelled all the hotels in Hobart for the next few nights and continued to stay at this lodge. The waiter mentioned that the owner was from Shanghai, and the relevant facilities and equipment were still in line with Chinese habits. There was also a very traditional fireplace, which the children were very interested in. The hotel is located in a relatively high area and overlooks the night view of Hobart. It is very quiet. The breakfast provided is not very varied but very delicious. The heating and other supplies are also sufficient. On the last night, a room with a kitchen was opened for us to fry a steak and drink a few glasses of wine. It was very comfortable.

The room is very clean and tidy, and towels are replaced and shampoo and paper towels are replenished every day. The trash can will be cleaned, and you need to bring your own toiletries and slippers. Check-in is very convenient. You will be given the key directly after checking the name information. No deposit is required. Just be aware that most of the front desks here are not 24 hours a day, and you need to check in and check out. If they come after get off work, it is best to communicate by email in advance, and they will put a password box for you, and you can check in by yourself. Our family of three stayed in a family room, which is very good. There are two rooms that do not affect each other. There is no kitchen, but there is a small refrigerator and microwave, as well as bowls, plates, knives, forks and cups. So it is very convenient to buy some cooked bread 🍞 and other things that can be done with the microwave. The transportation is very convenient, 2km away from the city, within 10 minutes drive from Coles and Woolworth supermarkets, and you can turn a corner and go straight to the highway to Hobart Airport. Our three night stay was very comfortable.

Hotels in Hobart are very tight and expensive during Christmas and New Year, so this one is good value for money. The hotel is a little far from the city center, but it is okay to walk there. This is a hotel with few rooms. The hotel does not have a dedicated front desk. It is jointly operated with the hotel downstairs. It seems that there is no service staff when the hotel is closed. The room is not big but it is ok for three people to stay. It was clean and tidy when we checked in, but no one came to clean and change the bath towels, etc. after three days of stay. Only someone came to take away the garbage every day. In addition, the Simmons mattress is relatively soft and not very comfortable to sleep on. It needs to be replaced.
