Best Cairns North Hotels

Right by the sea, you can see the sea from the balcony. It's a little far from downtown Cairns, not noisy, and very convenient. Clean and sanitary services are also very good. The hotel has its own swimming pool. Because I stayed in Cairns for a long time, I spent more time swimming in the hotel's swimming pool. I chose a place with a little sunshine to lie down and read a book. It was a very good experience.

Because I want to transfer from Cairns to Bamaga, I booked this hotel. I am optimistic that it is relatively close to the airport, about 5 kilometers. The room is quite big, less than 30 square meters, and the price-performance ratio is relatively high. It is far away from the cruise ship terminal. It takes about 30 minutes to walk. The boss service is very enthusiastic. It should be fixed for 3 nights and solved. There is a 7-11 convenience store next to it. It is a little more expensive than the big supermarket in the city center. There are two Chinese restaurants next to it. The taste and the amount of food are OK. The price is cheaper than the city center. Overall good.

The room here was good but we decided quite quickly to leave as the regular clientele were getting noisier and it was only 4pm.There were a lot of people loitering and apparently they were asked to leave by management. Also had a family member who had booked a room only to be told his room had an issue with the plumbing and it was suggested he sleep in our room, we should have left then in retrospect not 1 1/2 later

The room is very suitable for family travel, the facilities are very full, slightly older, but the transportation is convenient and comfortable. It is also convenient to rent a car around, big supermarket, seaside, and so on. The price here is very good, mainly a family room with a kitchen!

The manager of the property is friendly and welcoming. The apartment is spacious. However, I have to say the apartment is bit of disappointing. I understand the weather during the time is humid and wet due to raining. But there is cockroaches in the bedroom and ants on the bed. So maybe need to do some pest control before opening to guest? Also the room is not bright and is bit dark all the time. Moreover the bed sheets is bit of dirty as well. Toilet is clean which not an issue, but it is bit old and wardrobe is old as some places is broken need to upgrade or fix. Usually because we have kids, even it is not 5 star hotel or anything but at least I think clean and tidy is the very important thing for the accommodation. It is also bit of misleading on the advertisement because overall I do not think it should count as 4 star apartment OR it needs to put the correct photos for which room is related to. Also, this is not the walking distance to the city central and you need to have a car for more convenience otherwise you need to take taxi or other transport; so please be aware of.

Hotel service attitude is good

The hotel is right next to the station, it is very convenient to travel, there is a hospital opposite. The facilities here are very complete, especially for the cooking, oil, salt, vinegar and other seasonings, which are very user-friendly.
