staff amazing! breakfast amazing! Cocktails amazing! Gardens amazing! However the rooms completely disappointing! I am not sure how this hotel can be considering luxury? Its interior is worn and requires updating . We stayed in the Forrest suite room 120. Nothing like the photos . The mattress sunk inwards when we slept, my legs were higher than by body when laying down, that’s how bad the mattress was . The roll out bed which I was told had a proper matress sunk inwards. PowerPoints did not work . Our electric towel rail, the cord was taped with duck tape. The sofa and arm chairs was so old and worn , with chipping timber frames’ skiriting boards and paint was chipping. Lighting was so dim No air conditioning and it was a 30 degree weekend . I understand the website states rooms would not have the same view, but a view of bush and shrubs is not a garden view. The shutters in the room is old and some were broken The hall ways are so worn and floor boards creaked Room service menu is on an A4 paper with 8 selection of meals Spa bath tub which was also a shower was slippery to stand on Couldn’t order drinks or food at the pool This place is falling apart, thankfully friendly staff and beautiful garden (which isn’t as big as the photos) Disappointed
Firstly, no phone in our room (for contact with reception). I had to call from my mobile and after asking, they were going to send a phone up to us - it never arrived. I asked if there was any room service, to be told no! I noticed there were dirty plates of food left outside doorways in the corridor - they were there for the whole of our stay - 2 days - complete with flies. Upon checkin, we agreed that we didnt need housekeeping for our 2 day stay but were informed that we would get fresh towels - these never turned up. The Bar fridge is ridiculously small. Told there was a mini bar - but no there wasnt. The floors in our room clearly had not been vacuumed, with bits of rubbish and crumbs still there. After paying over $700 for two nights, we were certainly left wondering about value for money. We were there for our son's wedding so were very excited to spend time with family. Unfortunately we left feeling very, very disappointed with the accommodation.
we were celebrating a special occasion and book their grand suite room, which was absolutely beautiful, we arrived to a lovely message wishing us and a bottle of champagne which was well received, we also had dinner at the restaurant and the food was amazing, the staff are very friendly, we will be back again, especially to the restaurant

We arrived late afternoon in Bowral and secured the last room available. Ben and the staff were great, and the room was modern, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was large and bright with a double shower, there was a Nespresso machine and pods, NetFlix and Stan, and the bed was perfect. Located in the centre of town we were able to walk to everything and could leave the car parked. We were astounded by the beauty of the town and thrilled that it has retained its original vibe. Dinner at the hotel was really good and well-priced, and if you’re looking for coffee try “Early Birds” on the Main Street at the other end of town - it’s brilliant!

Historic building with a great reception area and beautiful gardens. Only a short drive into down. Staff were friendly and the room was clean and quiet. Bed was a little on the firm side and the outside of the windows could do with a brush down to remove a few cob webs. Really enjoyed the on-site restaurant and had one of the best meals of my life there, thoroughly enjoyed our stay .
Truly impressed with this accommodation. Very modern, clean and a wonderful in room 3 person Jacuzzi. The bed is wonderful. Kitchen appliances are new. Staff i great and present every day. Fireplace is a lighted unit only - does not heat. Dishwasher is half size of a standard dishwasher, so not al dishes fit at one time, but good for a couple. The reason I offer this review is for the cleanliness. I my US home country at resorts , my bare feet walking on the tile and wood floors become black with dirt, so I bring extra socks to keep my feet clean. Here at the Sebel, the tile floors are as clean as those in my home. The apartment is spotless.
This is the clearest 3 star motel I’ve ever been in. From the moment we stopped at reception it was obvious that the owners take great pride in this facility. The room is a standard three star layout but definitely with 4 star quality. The bed was clean and really comfortable. The bathroom is really clean and tidy albeit a little small. The price was very reasonable ($165 for three adults). I would have paid more given the quality and service. We would definitely stay here again.
Peaceful location. Staff friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed delicious breakfasts on our 3-night stay. Dinner on the last night was also delicious and service good. Would definitely recommend.
We stayed here for five nights, using it as a base for day trips and to explore a new destination. The park was well-maintained, with clean facilities and generously sized drive-through sites. Check-in was a breeze, thanks to the welcoming and friendly staff. We also appreciated that the park is dog-friendly, making it a great choice for pet owners. Conveniently, shops are just a five-minute drive away. During our stay, we visited Artemis Wines, a fantastic local winery only 15 minutes away—definitely a must-visit!

GGuest UserMy partner and I were amazed by this hidden gem in the Southern Highlands. The fireplace, the rooms, the in room menu and the service was very personable. This is a working farm so we got to see spring seedlings being prepped. Their philosophy of recycling and sustainability is something all guests should take a note of. They have a no dig and no chemical policy on their vegies. The hydroponic greens in the greenhouse blew me away. Including making their own compost. Their use of eco friendly items in rooms, freshly ground coffee for a plunger and loose leaf tea was very refeshing. We could not see any construction going on here. Surely this is a working farm we could see and it was a delight to see them recycling pallets, rocks and fallen trees for firewood. They do have 6 more suites coming up. Its completed but furnishings are underway.

Yyzx1236The hotel's natural environment is very beautiful and very suitable for vacation. The room was clean and tidy, but the food in the restaurant was average. The variety of breakfast is single and does not make any changes. I stayed for four consecutive nights and had the same breakfast for four days, which was very frustrating.

MM_FB_888We spent a night here over the June long weekend and enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel is very Downton Abbey with great staff and set in a beautiful cold climate garden. Heritage room beds were very comfy with a mix of pillow types/thicknesses (hooray!) and the rooms were nicely heated with a small sink. Shared bathrooms are fine - the ladies with a fab art deco mirror! - with steady hot water and various products to use. The buffet breakfast was very good value for money and we had the light and bright sun room to eat it in. The hotel is within easy reach of town (Cheese Factory, the Robbo Pub etc) and short drive to the spectacular Carrington Falls. The local area is perfect for rambling walks, scenic drives and exploration. Shame it was too cold to use the nice looking pool but we'll be back.
The gent welcoming me was kind enough to carry my case up the stairs. I had renovated room 9 overlooking the beer garden, so there would be noise during nights when the bar was open and the patronage higher. The room had an excellent Queen bed with good linen plus an old bedside table, lamp, wardrobe and vasic chair. WiFi was good and unlike in some Italian and French hotels that I had just stayed in, it was easy to find a bathroom power point to charge my phone. The renovated bathroom had good non slip floor tiles and a practical shower. Water flow in the shower was OK but it lacked the luxury, away from home rainshower experience. The hotel bar opens longer on weekends. Some nights have a bistro. There is a well maintained pool and tennis court for guests. Not all rooms have ensuites though mine did. It is a 101 year old historic property opposite the railway station where trains to and from Canberra stop plus a limited number of Campbelltown to Goulburn services. I used a Sydney to Canberra train to arrive.
We were lucky enough to have one of the spacious renovated rooms with a king sized bed. The decor was gorgeous and the underfloor heating in the bathroom a lovely touch. The heating/cooling quiet and efficient. Only downside-internet poor.
