We stumbled across this charming hidden gem and were firstly impressed by hosts Monique and Anthony who couldn’t do enough to make our stay fabulous. The rooms are exceptionally clean and well appointed. They also have glamming tents which were big enough and comfortable enough to house our family (2 adults and 4 children) it was such a fun novelty. We had dinner at the properties restaurant and the food was outstanding, really top class. Our hosts also pointed us in the direction of all the local attractions, including Dangar Falls, National Park lookout, local brewery, cafes and boutiques. The kids kids also loved feeding the alpacas which were super friendly and cute.

Room: Youth hostel, the public area is very large, every part reflects the owner's care and the designer's good taste, my parents can find photo spots everywhere. We booked a four-person room and slept very well.
Service: Finally it was my turn, and the person who greeted me was a barefoot girl who spoke Chinese quite well (but the main language was definitely English), looked very beautiful and enthusiastic. Like a lark, she made people full of hope. In the few communications, she said that we were the first guests she had seen, which I think was our luck.
Price: Needless to say, the price was more than 1,500 per day in the surrounding Airbnbs, so I booked this place for more than 500, which was amazing. It was just that I had trouble taking a shower one day and couldn't watch TV, but both the environment and the friendly atmosphere in the hotel made up for these.
Surroundings: Next to it is a music bar, and the band in the town performed blues, and my son was fascinated and didn't want to leave. And fish and chipt is really good.

Bellinger River Caravan Park, set on the river bank, is heaven for fishermen, kayakers, paddle-boarders and travellers who enjoy a peaceful water view. There's a mix of large slab and grass sites, and the most popular sites are right on the water's edge. There's fire pits for hire and wood for sale, which make for a cosy evening of relaxation. The bathroom and laundry facilities, camp kitchen are clean and in excellent condition. There's a herb/vege garden for travellers' use. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and will be back in the future.

The hotel is on the hill, and the night of August is still relatively cold, only 2 degrees Celsius. But the scenery is absolutely nothing to say. Looking up at night, you can definitely feel what is full of stars, almost parallel with the line of sight, a great experience.

PPatrick BRecommended to us by two groups of friends as a good place to stay for 2 nights on our trip from Sydney to the Sunshine Coast. We are happy they did, Sharon and Daren were great hosts . The motel is in a good location ,and the rooms were very comfortable and clean, Having breakfast provided made our stay much easier. A most enjoyable experience .

Appears to be a historic motel that has been renovated beautifully and perched overlooking the beach. Patios share a walkway down to the pool, however have privacy screening between them and gorgeous views of the ocean. Would be a great place in the warmer months with a clean looking pool with seating around it, and a short walk from the foreshore. Clean, stylish, and with all the necessities despite not having a full kitchen. Small fridge with freezer, sink, toaster, kettle, plenty of glassware and plates. Smart TV. The host offered a fresh bottle of milk when we arrived which was a nice touch. It’s a fairly small space, not much space to store bags, which didn’t bother us but may be a consideration for longer stays. Across the road from Woolworths which was helpful. Only negative is that the door does not key-lock internally, only finger locks, which is a bit of a concern for younger families like ours with curious children, considering the property is directly on the road on that side.

GGuest UserWe’ve stayed twice this year, first visit was great, sadly second visit was very disappointing. Maintenance man accessed our cabin without our consent, (he was very sheepish when we arrived back and found him!!!) Very unhappy and advised reception , our complaint was later dismissed. V Wall kept running out of basic spirits, couldn’t get a margarita all week and then they ran out of gin. Also ran out of one of their tap beers. Food lacked flavour. Fortunately we discovered other great places (cheaper and nicer) to eat as a result. Have tried to give feedback on website but unable to. We have booked elsewhere for our stay later in the year.

GGuest UserBeautiful park right next to the beach . The park is clean with huge sites and good shade. The park management go out of their way to make sure they can help you in anyway. On arrival they give you a list of restaurants of the town and even the ones with a gate pick up and return to the park. Our car broke down whilst there and we were given so much help from the staff helping us out with accommodation as our accommodation was our roof top tent. 11/10 we will be returning
