My Wife and I stayed here in a family room with our Grandson recently and were really pleased with our stay. We stayed in a family room which had a double and two single beds, ensuite bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities and a reverse cycle air conditioner which was most welcome considering the winter nights were quite chilly Whilst the motel is a little dated it is beautifully kept with lovely gardens and is very handily located for food and shopping. Megan is a very personable host who made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for her. We would choose to stay here again when we are next in the area

Such warm and welcoming people and the property itself is well-located and extremely clean. The rooms are spacious and being a modern property truly adds to the comfit and the on-site restaurant is fabulous. We'll be staying there again when we return to the Hunter.

So seedy, never again. Lady at reception was lovely and welcoming, but that is where the good experience ended! The first room we were given, (opened door and were welcomed by german roaches running around and a stench from bathroom) there was no way I could have stayed in it and we asked for another room which she happily gave, though it wasn't much better. Fridge wasn't working as power point was hanging out of the walls with bare wires exposed. Sheets were not clean-I think they were left on from last guests and had heavy, yellow staining. I couldn't shower as the filthiness scared me. Missing fly screens with blow flies and mozzies attacking all night. Vinyl floor was so filthy it made my feet dirty. Blood stains up bathroom door and frame!! Motel has ”permanent guests” who sat outside our room drinking, smoking and being rowdy until 10pm. I am amazed that some reviews state ”clean rooms”? How on gods earth can anyone think this place is clean is beyond me. Holes in walls plugged up with wet toilet paper!! Wanted to leave and was going to pay for somewhere else, though no vacancies anywhere. Book somewhere else early and avoid this place at all cost!
