Very well located hotel ideal for explorer the area. Highline 179 is directly next to and also the Ehrenburg which is accessible by a stroke or walking. The rooms are modern and large and very clean. The food and breakfast are very delicious and rich. We certainly come back.

Warning: A heavy brass key inscribed with your room number and the name of the hotel (Hotel Moserhof) is provided at check-in. If you misplace the key, you will be charged 140 Euro. I had the unfortunate experience of misplacing the key as it happened to slide into a hidden compar**ent in the dash of our rental car. After leaving the hotel the next morning and driving to our next destination, the key slide out. Only being 20 minutes away, I returned the key to the hotel and I was reimbursed the 140 Euro. I informed the hotel at check-out that I was not able to find the key. The owner or manager was extremely unpleasant and he forcefully informed me with an expression of anger that I would be charged 140 Euro. I informed him that I would pay the charges but that I felt that I needed to alert other travelers reserving a room at this hotel of this situation. The desk clerk had given me access to my room the evening before she departed so that I could re-enter my room for the night. I had not thought of the implication that the key could be in the hands of someone who might cause harm. The worst part of the experience was that I got very little sleep the night the key was lost. I was frightened that if someone had found the key, they had the ability to unlock there front door of the hotel and a key to my room. I moved all the chairs against the door for some security. There was no one at the front desk through the night who could assist me in changing rooms. There was a number on the front door for emergencies only. During check-out, the hotel desk clerk did not speak fluent English so it was difficult to work with her but she found a colleague who spoke English that was kind and helpful and I truly appreciated her assistance in paying for the key and resolving the issue. There are many wonderful hotels in this region, I would advise you to think carefully before reserving this hotel to avoid an unpleasant experience in the event of a misplaced room key.

We stayed 1 night on our way back for vacation. Very clean, very welcome staff. Very good breakfast, extensive and varied. Spacious rooms and impeccable bathroom. A little cheap but it is Bavaria in August...

Excellent view, excellent location with a car or renting a bike. Excellent starting point for many tours, including the reach of the Neuschwanstein castle, though already in Germany. Very quiet and relaxing. Room with terrace and kitchen possibilities. The room must be cleaned with precision and it must be reported that it is a badge that explains how to leave towels if a guest does not need to replace them. (for reasons of energy saving and the introduction of chemicals into the environment), but in practice for two nights in this structure the replacement of towels took place both days ... I had a lovely 3 night stay here in room 220 last week. The room, a single room, was large, with an en suite bathroom that, although small, was perfectly adequate. The room faced the front of the hotel and looked out onto the street. You could see the mountains. Unfortunately, it was too noisy to have the window open due to the noise of diners on the tables outside the restaurant, but at least the shut window blocked out the noise. I had a peaceful night’s sleep the whole time I was there. I wasn’t even disturbed by noise from other guests. The bed was comfortable, and the duvet wasn’t too thin, which makes a nice change when staying in a hotel! There was a fridge in my room, which was handy for keeping drinks cool. There were plenty of sockets in the room, which was handy for charging my phone and Apple Watch, and for using my straighteners. There was a large umbrella in the room too, which would have been very handy had it rained, but luckily, on the occasions it did rain, it was night time and I had no plans to go anywhere having been out and about all day. The breakfast buffet had an adequate choice - not a huge selection, but enough. Your usual items. Supper wasn’t bad either. The salad course and main course were buffet style, which I really hate to be honest - I like to be served my meal - and the starter and pudding was brought to you by a waitress. The starter was always a soup, and was always delicious. The soup we had on the first night - cream of potato - was particularly delicious. The service was very good. The waitresses were very friendly, particularly the waitress we had most often - a young lady with blonde hair. She was off one night as she’d been to the dentist, but the was there the rest of the time. (I’m mentioning this in order for the hotel to know who she is, as I didn’t catch her name.) The receptionist who was there for the most part of our stay, and who checked us in, was also lovely and friendly, always with a smile on her face. The hotel is in a good location. Reutte is a lovely little down. I’d happily stay at this hotel again. I really enjoyed my stay here. :)
