2 large and 2 small rooms for 3 people. The hotel is really great, very Austrian countryside. The continental breakfast is very rich, with a variety of delicious, especially bread, with many items and everything is delicious. The children ate the most in Europe this time. On the night of check-in, I unexpectedly encountered the monster parade before Christmas. It was a very interesting experience. Diagonally opposite is a Christmas market, the food is also very delicious, the locals recommend an orange juice flavored cocktail, which is amazing, even if it is alcoholic, it does not taste alcohol at all

We were on our way to Greece and needed a place to stay the night. This hotel is just next to the highway and next to a McDonald's. So you have to eat and don't lose time through the city. They offer a parking space without charging as well and the check in was possible till late in the evening. The price is very good, the room nothing special but exactly what we needed. The pillows could be more comfortable but otherwise nothing to complaint.

Our trip was a family trip with our dog, the apartment was very spacious and the most important thing was the police. We had some problems to find Parking because the review talks about a property with a parking. Parking is clearly waiting when the structure is full and everyone travels in car to find a place for the car becomes difficult. We went in a very hot period but the apartment had a fan and a air conditioner so we were quite good. The point of the structure nevertheless excellent services described are there and we have been very good

Very nice spacious and very practical room. Large bathroom. No air conditioning but fan. Quiet. No reception on site so do the Check before. Difficult internet on site. 30 mins walk from the city center. Possible to make coffee and tea in the room and several supermarkets nearby. Access to the building is not very warm.

I booked this hotel online after lot of research and went by the brand of ”Best Western”, whose properties I have stayed around the world in the past. However, I would say the experience was much below expectations. Pros 1. Very close to Salzburg train station. It is about 2kms from the station 2. Bus stops are right opposite of hotel so ease of public transport 3. Walking distance to Mirabell Palace and Mozartplatz (main tourist attractions) 4. Several Indian restaurants within walking distance from hotel. 5. I was given a large room so it was good from family point of view 6. Room, bathroom was clean, nice bed, clean bed linen and towels etc 7. Staff at FD was efficient and solved most of our issues quickly. Cons 1. When we checked into room, we noticed that not even electric kettle, tea, coffee was provided in the room. It was provided only after brought into the notice of the front desk. 2. Intercom in the room was not working, so every time you have to go to the FD to inform 3. The room has a very small window at shoulder level, which was quite odd. 4. Salzberg was quite warm during our stay and AC was not working in the room. 5. Breakfast spread was small considering this was a 4 star hotel. 6. The bathroom has peculiar design & it was quite awkward for our Indian sensibilities, that shower enclosure was in glass open to view from all sides from the room. Such arrangement is not suitable if you have older children staying in the same room. We had our 10y old with us and we had to finish our shower before she would wake up. I would rather avoid this hotel in future!!

We enjoyed our stay. Frank, at the front desk, was extremely helpful. He made our stay great. The breakfasts were good and we loved the size of the apartment room. The location was super convenient. We recommend Pension Elisabeth without reservation.

I write this review on the last day in my room at the Heffterhof Hotel in Salzburg. I started my stay here with my family on a tour, but got sick with COVID on the night we arrived. From the following day, as my family had to continue on back to our country, the Heffterhof Hotel staff cared for me like family. From management to the front desk, from the kitchen to the cleaning staff, everyone pitched in and went out of their way to make my stay and recovery as comfortable as possible. This service required way more effort than the normal guest as I had no family there to help me. But they checked in on me and brought me food and drinks. They brought tissues and extra towels. They ordered food out for me when the kitchen was closed. Instead of being treated like someone in quarantine, I felt like a member of the family being helped back to health. Customer service is always important in the hospitality business, but when things are going really badly for the guest, the kind of support I received at Heffterhof Hotel means everything to you. Absolutely loved our stay. Myself & boyfriend stayed for four nights. Very quiet, no road noise when window closed. Clean hotel, and bedroom. Lovely decor. We would’ve liked a mid-stay room refresh/clean, but not essential. Great location, short walk from Billa Supermarket, bus stops and a 10/15min walk from Train station. It’s handy checking-in/out online, very quick and easy to navigate the links sent via email. A phone number is also in the room to contact via WhatsApp if you have any queries/difficulties during your stay (we didn’t need to use this).
