Really friendly and good value small hotel. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable room. We didn’t have time for breakfast as we had an early start, but the breakfast room looked very inviting. Would happily stay here again.

This room exceeded my expectations! I wasn't sure what to expect but we were really surprised. The room was really spacious and very quiet and comfortable. It's about 15 minute walk into town, but there's a bus stop directly outside. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I'd definitely stay again if I was in the area.

We really can't say enough good things about Ely House -- we had such a wonderful stay! Gloria and Sam both went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible -- nothing was too much trouble and they were super friendly and attentive -- we really felt welcome! Breakfast was first rate and Sam's service was flawless. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend this lovely hotel located just minutes from the centre of town to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the Wolverhampton area.

Great value one night stay with family for a football away day. Two rooms, single and twin were perfect for our needs this weekend. Room was clean and had all we needed, staff were polite and the lounge bar area was a welcome bonus. The breakfast is as good as other reviews have stated. There are stairs and no lift so do bear that in mind when booking, but if you want a little character and personal service, I’d stay here over a bigger chain anytime. Much better value for money too.

We stayed 1 night at short notice to go to a show at The Halls. Reception was a speedy check in and there is a large car park at the rear of the hotel which means no stress of finding parking. Our room was up 2 large flights of stairs, so if less mobile request a lower room before you stay as there is no lift. The room itself was a little dated, having said that, bedding clean, bed comfortable (for us) and pillows ok with 2 extra in the top of the wardrobe. Tea and coffee station we found in the cupboard below the dressing table, suitably stocked. The en-suite was clean and has handwash, fluffy white towels and all you could need. The bar/lounge area downstairs looked lovely and had some music playing early evening but we didn’t have a drink as we were on our way out as we asked could they book us a taxi. Location is good for the city centre and service was very good. We didn’t have breakfast but from previous reviews it doesn’t disappoint. For our 1 night stay we enjoyed it.

Booked this hotel for a concert visit arriving by train. Chose it over chains as they could guarantee a twin bedded room (friends not partners) and we were delighted with our warm welcome, spacious room and large en suite and a 15 min walk to our concert venue. Breakfast was cooked fresh to order and the meat in the full English was butcher quality. Very impressed as very reasonably priced b&b and will return.

From start to finish our Bed & Breakfast 1 night stay was excellent. The staff could not have been more friendly, the room was pleasant & the breakfast was superb. The hotel was on the main road into Wolverhampton with a large car park & within walking distance of the city centre.
