Holiday Inn Wolverhampton - Racecourse

Hotel was a great stay, staff friendly and service was great, food at restaurant was delicious.

Lovely staff, young and rushed off their feet, stayed for one night, stayed before 2018. Confused I paid for the privilege to stay in the hotel to attend the horse racing and watch Madness. Yet was confused that the hotel let anyone in to use the bar, from the race course when there was ample bars in the race ground for anyone not staying at the hotel. After Madness finished the only bar open is the hotel bar, because show is finished 10.00 home time and they want you out if you’re not staying at the hotel, which is fine, but if you are staying in the hotel as many of us were , bar was full, rammed so of course people wanted to sit outside because there are tables for the hotel outside but security had been told not to let anyone outside with drinks, how stupid is this, I understand you want to close the race course, so you need to restrict people from using the hotel if they aren’t staying there, and don’t be greedy and take peoples money knowing your going to be 60 people plus in a reception bar area, tiny thing like covdi happen few years back you should only serve hotel guest because that’s what you are, a hotel. And help the poor bar staff, young girl on her own, blokes walking out with 3/4 pints not paying and she’s on her own can’t chase them. Ps didn’t stay for breakfast too expensive, I was going to but even though it had increased in price quite a bit, but remembered it was cold last time we stayed.

Friendly staff, clean comfy room, quite area close to the city centre. Definitely be visiting again...

Over all good stay and friendly from office staff Sahil Maji and Aman at restaurant are best to dine with thanks for all good breakfast thanks to all nice staff good behaved with lots of dishes of breakfast thanks for everything I enjoyed a lot

Chose this venue as I am used to the general standard of IHG Hotels and it was near to a location we were attending an event. We were not disappointed the staff were friendly and the place was clean and tidy. You could not fault either the evening meal selection or that for dinner. Will definitely stay again if in the area

The armchair in room 101 was filthy_stains on the seat and horrible dark greasy marks onboth arms...I would not sit on it..never...This is terrible for a worldwide hotel chain!....also 101 is a disabled room..it was ok i guess but i would have prefered a normal room/bathroom.when i queried this at the desk the staff mrmber just said"oh well its just how the rooms are allocated"_,,not exactly a full explanation!!
