Very kind people and great hotel, great location. You get to park right in front of the room. I will definitely stay here again. The folks working were very kind and considerate of my situation. I feel welcome here and very glad to have discovered this charming little place.

The cutest and cleanest place! Owners are super nice and very accommodating. Stayed in a room with a king size bed. Rooms are stocked with everything you need and we stayed warm. Close to all the food and Hiker’s Coffee Shop. I would recommend to anyone!! I can’t wait to come back!

Fun stay. This is an old property from the mid-century "motor court" days. Small rooms with no A/C (rarely need it at this altitude and dry climate), no fridge, and no microwave. But the room was very clean and comfortable though small and simply furnished. Owners were friendly. There are outside chairs, picnic tables, and a deck from which we watched the local mule deer browse around the property. Convenient to Philmont and Eagle Pass/Angel Fire.

We wanted to get out of town for a few days and do some fly fishing. We came here because Cimarron is small and quiet. And it was! A nice and clean hotel room. Great manager, who also owns the Hiker’s Coffee Shop, one block over. They had great coffee and egg and sausage sandwiches. If you want it nice, clean and quiet, this is a great place!!

Room is clean , but that is all. If you read the Terms and agreements, all the way down at the very bottom( I mean who really reads those things) it states the due to the elevation and high humidity no ac is needed. Just fans! Bull!!!!! 89 degrees and no wind equally a sleepless night! This is stupid. Thanks for the worst start of our anniversary trip.

Owners were friendly, the motel is clean and easy to find. It was very quiet the night we stayed. This is a small-town hotel, not the Marriott or Hilton, so don't expect the same amenities. They allow pets, and my wife is allergic, so she was concerned. Housekeeping does an excellent job. My wife used both beds (I tend to snore) and she had no reactions to pet hair or dander. The owners also run Hikers Coffee, so make sure to go the 3 blocks and get your morning started off right.

The room was charming, comfortable and western-styled. Each room has a slightly different theme. The bed was very comfortable, the towels were plush and the hot water plentiful. More importantly the hospitality of the proprietor, Steven, was exceptional. We hit a deer just short of Cimarron and limped into Hiker’s Inn. Steven helped us access the damage and put us in touch with all the right folks who could help us. An added bonus is that the Hiker’s coffee shop, also run by Steven and his wife, is just across the street. Fabulous coffee and tea drinks, as well as yummy cinnamon rolls and other pastries.

This is a hidden gem in Cimarron, New Mexico. My wife & I had reservations at the St. James hotel, but because we were recent victims of catalytic converter theft on our RV, we were afraid to leave it parked alone. After looking online, we found this place. The online photos do not do this park justice and PLEASE do not be put off by some photos on google. The park and hotel have new owners who are extremely friendly. The park is very clean, amenities are convenient and the park is within walking distance to restaurants, grocery store, gas station and laundry. It is within miles of Philmont Scout Ranch as well. We got a good night sleep and went sight seeing in Cimarron. Well worth skipping my hotel reservation...
