Where do I start?! Our daughter and son-in-law highly recommended we booked The all-inclusive++++ Residence for our 20th wedding anniversary holiday, and I am soooo glad we took their advice. We booked a Penthouse room for 9 nights, flying with EasyJet from Edinburgh, and we splashed out and booked a private return transfer with DM Transfers from Dalaman airport. The transfer was perfect, and more like a limousine with chilled water, tv and wi-fi to enjoy. On arrival at The Residence, we were greeted and ushered to a personal check-in with chilled facial towels, champagne and chocolates, while our luggage was discreetly whisked away to our room for us. We were walked to our room, with the young lady explaining the bars and restaurants to us. Our room was absolutely perfect (we were in 4534) overlooking the immaculately maintained pools with views out to the sea. The penthouses have a private jacuzzi on the balcony along with a double rattan sunbed, table and 2 chairs with a huge rollable parasol which is invaluable in the heat of the day! Our room had a huge bed, balloons and pillow scent and a chilled bottle of Prosecco waiting for us along with a beautiful strawberry heart-shaped cake, as the hotel knew we were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary while we were there. Apart from that amazing start, the room had its own lounge area with a jacuzzi bath, double sink vanity units, separate shower and toilet, separate dressing room and every single luxury you can imagine - Kraft paper-packaged bath hats, sewing kits, razor and shaving kits, loofah, toothbrushes, amazing scented hand wash and shower gels and body lotions, dressing gowns and slippers, yoga mats and beach bags, hair driers and hair straighteners, USB points and a UK plug point, iron & ironing board, and so much more. In the room you also had a bar area with 1/2 bottles of whisky, gin, vodka, waters and a bottle of wine, and a fully stocked fridge with water, beer, orange juice, ginger ale and milk, along with a kettle, Nespresso coffee machine and pods. All this is refreshed daily, so as you finish a bottle of anything, they will just replace it the next day free of charge. Every day the maid will come in and change the towels and re-make and change the bed, refreshing any toiletries you have used. Then you'll have a visit from the bar man re-stocking your drinks, and then later in the evening while you are out enjoying cocktails and evening meal, housekeeping will return and re-make the bed and do a turn-down service, put the ambient lights on and air conditioning if the room is too warm and close the curtains and re-stock the towels. The amazing staff in the hotel make you feel you are staying in a hotel where you are truly welcome, and you are! From the reception staff to the maids to the pool staff to the restaurant and cocktail staff - without exception they are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. My friend and I have just returned from our holiday at The Residence at TUI BLUE Sensatori Akra, and we couldn't be more thrilled with the experience! My friend is a regularly, however, this was my first visit. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations, and a big part of what made our stay so unforgettable was the exceptional staff. We stayed in one of the penthouses, and it was absolutely stunning—clean, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The mini bar was always well-stocked, which made for some nice, relaxing evenings. The only tiny thing I'd mention is the lack of electrical sockets in the wardrobe area and at the dressing table. It would’ve been more convenient to have them there for getting ready. But honestly, this is a minor detail compared to all the positives! A huge shoutout to the fantastic staff who made our stay extra special: Mustafa (Repatory) – such a kind, gentle, and humble young man. He really made us feel welcome. Namik (Cuphea) – so attentive and friendly! His excellent English and ability to remember our favourite drinks made us feel like VIPs. Ezra & Omer Faruk (Balkon) – hands down the best cocktail makers we’ve ever met! They were friendly, hardworking, and made each cocktail with a smile. Sinner (Cuphea Bar) – great barman. He makes the most amazing Salted Caramel Martinis, so friendly and fun too. Zina – what a voice and what a talent! The music entertainment throughout the week was absolutely amazing, and he made the evenings so much fun. Overall, our time at The Residence was absolutely fantastic. I’ll definitely be back – even if it’s just to see these lovely, familiar faces again! ❤️

Not sure where to start really. 1. Booking & Check-In Easy to book in on arrival. We arrived at 2am - transfer was about an hour roughly from Dalaman airport. Comfortable coach which offered drinks and snacks ( payable) it did take some time for our suitcases to arrive as they insisted they took them for us but would have been easier if we were allowed to take them ourselves. Especially as we were tired and located in block 42 opposite the gym. 2. Room -The room is beautiful with bath / sink / wardrobes and safe. The bed is really comfortable. -Mini bar stocked with branded soft and alcoholic beverages which are free of charge and re stocked daily. -Bonus hairdryer & straighteners which were actually decent but if you have long hair - take your own hairdryer. The rooms are clean with shampoo, conditioner, soap, bath salts and additional bits and pieces. In block 42 it can be noisy with the gym right opposite which is open 24 hours. The door to the exit has an old and tired fan which we could hear over the air con in our room, I did question the chaperone but he said it’s just the noise the fan makes… luckily I was able to go out and turn this off myself as it was making a racket and would keep me awake. This requires some attention as it was noisy and you can hear this 2 rooms down! 3. Service & Staff The service was at times very slow in the main restaurant for a ‘5*+’ hotel. Sometimes waiting for 15 minutes before someone came and offered you a hot drink at breakfast. The staff were however friendly and would get you what you wanted. The pool bar were fantastic and work so hard. Big shout out to their lovely smiley service. Service for food was much quicker at the Cuphea. We were unfortunately victims of a crime during our stay at the hotel - where our suitcases and bags had been gone through during our day at the Cabana and money was taken. Response from the customer relations (front desk) staff and management was non existent as I explain later. 4. Food & Drink The food was OK - I wouldn’t say it was any different to any of the 4 star hotels we have stayed in. The themed nights were nice in the main restaurant. The complementary bread and oil we found to be hard. We didn’t use any of the a la carte restaurants but there is a lot of variety with being able to use the facilities next door so you have plenty of options. 5. Facilities & Amenities The pool is beautiful - and never felt over crowded. The guys at the pool bar are fantastic and will make you anything. I’d reccomend their frozen mango and strawberry daiquiris. We lived off of these! The gym is great - we toured the spa but due to a certain amount of our TL being stolen we were unable to afford the treatment. It smells incredible though. 6. Location Location was ok but unfortunately the beach isn’t private which means if you want the beach it isn’t adults only with many members of the public there / loud music etc. The sea is lovely for a swim. This was our second stay at the Residence. We knew for our honeymoon, we needed to come back here! We stayed in a beautiful swim up room. It was huge and well equipped with a complimentary minibar and snacks that got topped up daily. Housekeeping ensured our room was clean throughout. The highlight of the room was definitely the swim up to the amazing pool. A big strength of the hotel is the pool with a brilliant swim up bar. I would like to mention Esra and Mercan behind the bar who were fantastic! They have a huge range of special cocktails as well as serving all the classics plus beer, wine and even coffee! The food at the Residence is fantastic. We eat almost entirely at the Repertory; having checked out the restaurants in the sister hotel last year.The breakfast at the Repertory features a huge range of cold and hot buffet options plus an extensive a la carte menu. The rest of the food was all a la carte with themes each night for dinner - the Turkish night was a real highlight. The service is absolutely perfect from all the waiting staff! I would like to shout out Mustapha and Mehmet who were especially friendly! I would thoroughly recommend the Residence, wish we could come back every year!

I usually wait until I return from a holiday to write a review but one day here was enough - this place is heaven on Earth. The bar staff are absolutely incredible, nothing is ever too much hassle and they are so kind and lovely. We are in the Penthouse Suite and it is stunning - they have thought of absolutely everything. Shampoo, conditioner, gel, cream, moisturiser, dental kits, sewing kits, Nespresso machine, hair dryer, straighteners, robes, slippers… the list goes on and on. The food is incredible - the A La Carte menus are so inclusive and there is everything here you could possibly need. The beach is stunning, the Cabanas are stunning. I cannot express enough how amazing this hotel is - this is 100% the first of many, MANY trips to The Residence!

Lovely place to go. Food was brilliant drink was non stop. We went upstairs before dinner to the Balkin and had drinks there. The barman Emrah was fantastic very knowledgeable about the cockrails. The cocktails are to die for. Just ask they make anything for you. Pool was lovely. We hired a cabana for the day, which was really nice being waited on all day was definitely spoilt. Was my first time there and would definitely return. We did not use the spa as we thought it was quite expensive. We asked the Tui rep for a place to go, and she recommended somewhere which was really good and the Turkish bath was such fun.

First-time visitors to this hotel and it won't be the last. Everything that we have read is true. The hotel is faultless. The staff are really something else and are on another level compared to staff we have encountered in many other 5 Star hotels over many years. All credit to the management, everything is spot on. Everything from pools, pathways, seating, toilets, and gardens is spotless. We have nothing but praise for the top quality of the food and drinks in all areas of the hotel. A special mention must go to the daytime pool staff and all those who work the restaurant's and main foyer area. A must while you are there is to visit the new beach bar on the Sensitori side early evening. The view is stunning in the early evening, and the lads working there are a credit to the hotel.

2nd visit, we visited last June and always wanted to return and managed to bag a last minute break. We had a swim up last year but the only option this year was the lakehouse so we thought why not . We were very privileged to get the lakehouse facing the sea, room 5701. Such a private spot, we loved it as it wasn't overlooked and had a lovely infity pool right outside your room. Lovely to chill with a bottle of prosecco. We didn't request this but they must have read our minds as this would have been our preferred room as we saw it last year. We only booked 4 weeks before so was shocked this was the one we got. We were looked after by Hassan for the majority of the week and Zeki on the last day. Service was top notch, so friendly and kept keeping the drinks flowing throughout the day. Emrah in Balkon was just so talented. We often spent a few hours in the evenings and just watching him make the drinks is mesmerizing. He created special drinks for us (tangtastic) which my partner loved. We also had a few late nights/mornings in the lobby bar. A shout out to the guy who does the after midnight shift. Nothing was too much trouble and made sure we never went thirsty. I can only remember his name as Tommy, sorry I've forgot his name but he did a great job looking after us both after a few shandy's . Food and drink was top quality again, I can't stop looking at all the pictures I have of them on my phone. We have got the residence bug and will definitely return.
