The hotel was very crowded. However it was clean. One issue that I faced was the sockets which was new sockets (Chinese sockets not suitable for the round plugs) and I couldn’t charge my laptop. However, the receptionist helped me bu providing me a converter.

I have stayed here many times. This time I originally planned to stay for nearly a month, and I was going to leave on January 21st. But your hotel is going to increase the price on the 21st. I thought that I have stayed in your hotel for a month and the 20 yuan will not affect the traveler's experience. As a result, I failed to negotiate. It felt like I was kicked out on the last day without caring about an ordinary guest like me. So I decisively cancelled the order for the next few days and changed to another hotel tomorrow. Basic motel. The staff at the front desk was flustered when presented with a foreigner and a passport but after a call to the local police station I was able to check in. Room was basic but clean. Breakfast also basic, usual Chinese hotel breakfast fare, eggs, doujiang, youtiao, vegetables and so on.

This appeared to be a new (or refurbished or recently extended) hotel, as there was a small amount of work still going on in it (though it did not disturb me). There were very few guests (breakfast was very quiet, but tasty): presumably because it is new (and it was also a weekend). However, it was perfect for my needs (I was using it as a base for cycle touring in the area), the staff were very friendly, and the room was spacious, comfortable, and good value.
