The Tundra Inn

This hotel was easy to book for our group, we had contacted them early to accommodate our group. They always responded to emails if nobody was at the front desk in off season. The beds were comfy, windows opened to let the cool night air in. Bring your own personal fan for the hotter seasons as it was hot and stuffy in there. Not much air circulation otherwise. We were prepared to eat and create our own meals, but there was not a hot plate, there was a microwave but it wasn’t too powerful to cook. We managed to make our own breakfasts. Friendly and accommodating staff, they kept our luggage as our train didn’t leave until the evening. They helped load the luggage and got us to the train station and picked us up at the station when we arrived.

Very comfortable inn. Spotless Quiet Close to everything. Lovely lobby sitting area. Use of a kitchen area with microwave, kettle, plates, cups, glasses, wine glasses, coffee maker. Friendly staff Transfers available to train station or airport.

Only stayed here one night with a tour group but it was very warm, friendly and inviting. The room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Very conveniently located to restaurants, one right across the street. What an experience to be in Churchill, seeing all the wonderful sights and polar bears.

I was worried what our hotel would be like in this very tiny town of Churchill on the sub arctic tundra. It was perfect for us. Very plain, but our room was very clean. The bedding and towels were very nice and comfortable. We were easily able to heat our room, the hot water was plentiful and it was extremely quiet. I would never have known my fellow tour group travelers were all around me. There is a nice gathering room with lots of comfy furniture and coffee.

Great hotel in a very isolated town. Air conditioning the best I’ve had in USA or Canada. Not hot and stuffy - able to regulate, beds really comfortable and everything clean! Thank you Frontiers North and the Tundra Inn for an amazing experience.

We enjoyed 2 nights at the Tundra Inn in Churchill while we were there to try and see a polar bear or two, and while we unfortunately didn’t see a polar bear, our stay at the Tundra Inn was comfortable and welcoming. While the rooms are older they offer a good night’s sleep.We also very much appreciated the airport transfers and the service offered by the front office staff.
