Hotel Franziskaner has the best location in the Chur old town, where is just 10 minutes walk (flat roads) from Chur Train Station which is adjacent to the Bus Station. Bus ride only takes 2 stops to the outside of the hotel. The Hotel staff gave us a Chur pass for public transportation and also some advice of where to visit. We love the breakfast. Coffee is good. Hotel staff were friendly. The window of our hotel room has good views of the old town. However, the hotel does not have an elevator and you need to carry your luggage up to your floor. My hotel room only has 2 power outlets under the bedside tables and you need to kneel down to plug in your phone for charging.

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. We stayed for 2 nights this time. Location is around 8-10 mins walk from Chur train station. It’s located at the old town of Chur and surrounded with shops and restaurant as well. Breakfast is okay and decent enough.

Very simple accommodation. There is nothing in your room. I would say this is the cheapest option in Khur although it is not worth the price.Too expensive for this service.
Breakfast is relatively good which mainly provide cheese and hams.
Shared toilet didn’t get cleaned for few days.

I took my big luggage to the third floor, but there was nothing to choose from. I will not book again.

There’s no elevator, when I asked to receptionist she laughed and just said I can’t help. Then I also asked is there any other man? But she just said NO. And left to smoke. If you have heavy baggage I don’t recommend. But they prepares breakfast to go if you leave early and it was ok.

Just arrived in 30 degree heat. No air conditioning and when I asked for a fan there are none. Staff rang the manager and came back with the message that there’s nothing they can do. Currently sitting with the door open as the corridor is cooler than the room. Rooms are basic. No lift and no fridge. Bathroom small but serviceable. Won’t be back.
