Hotel booked urgently because the ferry had been cancelled. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. The room was available in advance which was a real plus. I recommend it to break up the Bangkok-Koh Tao journey or spend a few days on the coast.

We stayed overnight at this hotel on the way to Samui. Very hospitable staff. We were delayed on the road and checked in late, at 11 p.m. We were met, seen off and even brought beer to the sleeping travelers😂.
The hotel itself is interesting, in some kind of Portuguese style. In the style of a sea fort.
High wooden doors, a swing overlooking the sea, a sun lounger right on the terrace of the room.
The bed linen is clean, the beds are comfortable. The children were delighted with the bedroom on the second floor.
A shower with good pressure, gel, shampoo, everything was in the room.
The breakfast is of course modest, without a choice. Fried eggs, and traditional Thai rice soup. For an overnight stay or a couple of days, it's a good option 😊.

The room is compact and not very big. The location is good, close to the Krom Luang Chumporn Shrine as I found. The breakfast is not very diverse. The rice soup is delicious. Everyone has good service.

Because we booked in a hurry, we didn't go and look at other people's reviews before. Driving here is tiring. The room is on the 3rd floor. Walking up and down is unbearable. When asking to see a room on the ground floor, when we opened the door, there was a musty smell. It's a room on the road. It doesn't seem very private. We didn't stay. We asked to cancel, but they didn't refund us. Whoever is going to stay in Chumphon, look for a room by the sea. Look carefully. The only good thing might be the view...
