We had a 3 day stay at the Harbour Hotel in Christchurch.
We ate dinner there twice - once at "The Upper Deck" and once at "The Jetty". Both meals were excellent: we had lovely tables, the food was great and the service made us feel special. The experience at breakfast was the same, with attentive service from all the staff and great food served on the open veranda.
Although we were using the hotel as a base for our walks around the area, we also used the spa which was well maintained and had all the facilities you could want.
We did have an issue with our assigned room which was not as ordered from Trip.com. Although the reception team reconfirmed they had allocated the room accurately based on what Trip.com had ordered for us, the Cherry the reception manager took it on herself to compensate us for the mismatch.
From start to finish the service at The Harbour was outstanding. All the staff that served us in reception, the bar, the restaurants and the spa were helpful, efficient and friendly. Although our room was smaller than we'd ordered, it was well appointed and the bed was very comfortable.
All in all, this was one of the nicest hotels we've stayed in, this in no small part due to the professionalism and caring attitude of the staff team. We will return !

Great location overlooking the harbour with an easy walk to the quayside and beaches. We were worried the "cosy" room would be too small but it was fine. This was a repeated visit and we will go again. Good service, super harbour side restaurant and relaxing spa. Plenty to do nearby - seaside,highcliff castle (photo) and historic town

Visited for afternoon tea today for a special family celebration, the quality nowhere near as good as on previous visits. Sandwich fillings were very poor, could barely see the cucumber in the cucumber sandwich and not enough quantity of sandwiches for the people booked. Cakes tasted mass produced, could have come from Aldi, all very disappointing. Ordered our drinks at the table as we wanted them and were stung for sevice charge, paid in excess in £60 for this. Been here several times but were very disappointed by today's experience, won't be returning in a hurray! Sadly this is no longer a venue for a special experience.

We had an amazing celebration yesterday, thank you to Hannah, Lindsay and Charlotte for the planning and co-ordination behind the scenes it was a success. The Library looked great and the only complaint with the menu was that everyone was so full after it because it was to good not to finish. The scene stealer was the cake - we can honestly say we have never seen one so big - thanks to the chef. Amy looked after us beautifully - so attentive, friendly and professional she took all the work away from me (without prompting) which was amazing and rare. We are sitting back today remembering the day … and eating more of that cake!

Back to our favourite hotel, only one night but still wonderful. As usual from reception, a friendly arrival to the room and everything laid out perfectly. We have a wonderful walk to Mudeford harbour and beach. After the sea air we are looking forward to our evening meal. Our daughter gets very upset if too busy and although we chose the table we had to ask to change but everyone was fantastic in helping us more smoothly to a quiet table. You have no idea how that made our evening perfect. We had a very good nights sleep. Next day the wonderful selection of breakfast fruits and cereals and pastries and cooked and continental selection, so difficult to choose. Thank you again to the wonderful staff and Amy, Rafa and Molly and your assistant manager in restaurant. You help our stay be perfect.

Nice hotel, great rooms, fabulous spa and pool. Bramley toiletries, tea, coffee and biscuits and the famous gin, along with tonic water, what more would you want?! Service was a bit slow in the Upper Deck restaurant, as it was very busy but the food was very good. Continental breakfast was ok. We all had a great time and would hope to return.

A totally enjoyable visit. All the hotel staff were quietly efficient, well presented, knowledgeable, and courteous. The most comprehensive, quality Continental Breakfast ever! Also, the evening meal menu was excellent, and the fish delicious.

We had a gift voucher for the harbour group and chose this hotel. We picked a special offer of a sunday night getaway with an extremely good discount off of the a la carte. We had a great time. What a lovely hotel. The room was lovely, we had a part harbour view. The outside areas are gorgeous. Food was great in dinner and breakfast. I used the spa which again was nice but there are no windows and its quite dark so for me personally it wasnt the best spa I had been to but I think thats personal preference.The area is lovely. We visited Mudeford which is just down the road and Chruistchurch Quay. It is one of my favourite areas to visit. I wouldnt hesitate to book again.
