We recently stayed at a Premier Inn and were appalled by the state of the bathroom. The toilet was absolutely filthy, with visible stains and it was clear it had not been properly cleaned or sanitized. I immediately reported this to the front desk, expressing my concerns about hygiene. The receptionist, who appeared to be the only staff member on duty, offered to clean it themselves. However, they were also simultaneously attempting to put up Christmas decorations. Feeling uncomfortable with the situation, I reluctantly accepted cleaning products from the receptionist and proceeded to clean the toilet myself – a task I should not have had to undertake as a paying guest. To my further disappointment, I have not received any apology from the hotel management. Furthermore, despite contacting their customer service department almost three weeks ago, I have yet to receive any acknowledgment or response to my complaint. This experience has left me extremely disappointed with the Premier Inn group. Their disregard for guest hygiene and their failure to address my serious concerns are unacceptable.
