Premier Inn Christchurch (East)

No air-conditioned, No housekeeping

Had the best stay on the weekend with my family, staff were very helpful and friendly and I will definitely be returning in the summer with my family, we love premier inn. The beds are so comfy and this one in particular was amazing. Would definitely recommend.

Had a great couple of nights in this hotel, just what you expect from a premier inn. Marika was always smiling and happy to help when called upon. We found the hotel to be clean and tidy, very good location with restaurant just next door. Would visit again.

We arrived at the hotel, i had asked for an accessible room, we were in the furthest part of the hotel. As we opened the room door the damp and musty smell hit us. I went and reported it to told the young girl on reception she apologised. The following morning i reported it to the receptionist again, we went off to a wedding. The had said they would check it and sort it for us. When we returned that night it was just as bad. The restaurant was badly set up for people to sit together. We tried to take breakfast to our room but there wasn't any boxes etc available to carry it back in. even though they say you can. There are lots of doors , stairs and corridors to try and carry it along on a tray with out it getting cold, or spilling drinks.

Nobody at reception when I arrived. When I called for reception on the bell and Caz arrived it was like I had done her a disservice by asking her to do her job and check me in to her room. Her attitude was sarcastic when I asked her questions about the Wi-Fi I have used premier in several times for work and this was by far the worst experience I have had when checking in Caz needs training in cusomter service or to find a job she is actually happy doing

The room was tired, the heater beeps on and off which disturbs sleep. The tap constantly drips which is distracting. Food was cheap but not that cheerful. Paid for a WIFI voucher code which never arrived and the ‘support’ offered is utterly useless. Despite sending them the receipt of purchase as requested by the ‘support’ no code and no refund. Really poor. Avoid.
