The room is on the 2nd floor. We booked twin beds, one large and one small, as well as a dining table, chairs and a sofa, so the space is quite large. The kitchen is fully equipped and we made a simple dinner. The requirements for garbage classification are very clear. It is very convenient to just post pictures and text on the wall. The elderly at the front desk were very welcoming and specifically reminded us of parking precautions in Christchurch.
Personally, I think it's a good value for money motel.

Close to town and very friendly host.
There are both ground floor and 1st floor (where I stayed) accomodations, so u may need to consider or notify the hotel what you need before stay.

It's a very clean and comfortable small motel. The hotel is very welcoming. Knowing that one of our friends had a foot injury, they even brought a cane for them. The service was so considerate ~

I don't usually write reviews unless the product and/or the service are exceptional. In this case both were. Ric, the host was very welcoming, well informed and helpful, with attention to detail noticeable and appreciated. Even came out to clear the fogged up windows of our car on the morning we left. The unit was clean, comfortable, well appointed, private and quiet. The beds were so comfortable. Great shower and bath. Location is central and within walking distance to everything. It will be my choice of place to stay again and I am happily recommending it. Lorraine and Jo
