Well not sure where to start.... booked a wowcher spa and afternoon tea. Spa was dirty and nothing worked as it should have, staff was rude. Cause we got a deal we thought the after tea would make up for it. How wrong was I..... menu was totally different to the menu on wowcher nothing was organised, spoke to a manager and explained what are experience was he argued with me saying I was wrong. This has made my mother's bday very disappointing

The hotel and package was a great deal but only made by the staff we came acrosss. The lady on reception while checking in was great and there to help us. After that we had drinks and a meal Lucy was impeccable, a member of staff that as a business owner myself would be trying to keep and progress within my company, nothing was too much for her and she single handedly made my stay better. Vignesh was great too and I could see Lucy enjoyed working with him. He also treated us great. Also Sarath and Devin in the restaurant made me feel like a vip tending to my every need. The staff here are very attentive and I could not knock them. There was one lady on reception before I checked in, she was unhelpful and although maybe accidentally she was rude. I was very happy when check in arrived it was another lady who was great with clear customer service skills. I would highly recommend staying here to others!!!

Main reception weren’t very helpful, went to them with a few issues and we were stared at blankly, or spoken to like we were stupid. Reception at the spa were really friendly and helpful though. The spa had a few issues, the showers were being fixed so weren’t in use and the floor was dirty. The spa experience was nice and we enjoyed the emotional shower 😃 The treatments were lovely and afternoon tea was nice. Our evening meal was great and we can’t praise Aidan and Charlotte enough for being so friendly and looking after us so well 😊 They had brilliant customer service and made us feel so welcome.

I'm not normally one to complain about experiences having worked in customer service before, but I also know that when you've hit a threshold of wanting to complain, a lot of things have happened and it's worth to provide the feedback. I also really rely on reviews when I'm looking for places to stay and do give places a benefit of doubt when I see some reviews that I personally would overlook. I booked through wowcher a spa experience of £140 where you had a one night stay, leisure access (sauna and steam included), dinner and breakfast the following day. This was booked for my partner's birthday, a surprise I was really looking forward to as due to personal circumstances I'm now in a position to treat him as he deserves and we were looking forward to having a relaxing day/evening. When we arrived, we were early so wasn't expecting to be checked in so went to the lounge for some drinks. We were sat at the bar for 10/15 minutes before we were served - I asked for a hot chocolate and my partner asked for a pint. The pint was poured but the bar man had to get another person to do my hot chocolate which was a further wait. The atmosphere in the lounge was awkward as there was numerous other guests who weren't happy with the service and having to wait around. Once we checked in (room was fine but blood on a pillow), we went to the spa. The customer service was not great, where I had to initiate conversation to understand what the process was - there we were told we just had access to the pool and leisure, there was no mention of the sauna and steam room. We ended up paying a further £35 each to get access to the hypnotherapy room. It would have been appreciated to have the process explained properly (where we actually did have access to the sauna and steam room, and showed how to access without going through the hypnotherapy room as we wouldnt have paid the further £35 each). We were also told we had to go back across the courtyard to get a gowns and slippers at the reception in the rain - having to wait a further 20 minutes before walking back. The hypnotherapy room was okay - just confusing trying to access the sauna and steam room as the door was locked even though the sign for the two rooms was right there. The jacuzzi was cold. Food in the evening was lovely, but again you're surrounded by others who are complaining about the confusing and dismissive service - confusion after complimentary (probably from another complaint) was given, frustration over not being given a welcome drink they paid for. We also had my partners starter mixed up - asking for the chicken tikka but being given the black pudding, which meant me and my partner eating separately. I decided to go back to the reception at this point as paying £210 just didn't match up to the experience we had had. I was told to give the receptionist a minute and had to wait a further 30 minutes. I was first offered a complimentary drink (not weighing the complaint) then complimentary

Park Hall Resort & Spa is absolutely magical! From the moment we arrived for Diwali party.. the down-to-earth hospitality made us feel so welcome n every little detail was taken care of so perfectly that it truly felt like our dreams were coming to life. The decor n event setup were stunning, the north Indian cuisine was amazing n the performances were thrilling. The hosting was energetic...the grand fireworks + DJ night were spectacular n the service was outstanding throughout....Not just a five-star experience but a celebration that we’ll remember forever....perfect place for staycations, events, parties, celebrations and accommodating anybody from couples, friends, family and kids with a beautiful serene view all around....

Back after 3 years.. Like before, a wonderful experience for the whole family. Our kids loved the thermal pools, the gaming centre and everything. Food was also very good. A special thanks to Zeeshan and colleagues for making whole function truly memorable..

I hate to write bad reviews but needs must! My partner booked spa access & afternoon tea for my birthday and we were really excited to come! Got to the hotel, was shown were to go for the spa and all was well. Got to the spa to be told our booking wasn’t there, we were being dealt with by a lady and then she suddenly disappeared and someone else was then dealing with this - after being stood for over 15 minutes we were told our booking was in fact on the system. Not sure what the other lady was on about? Got into the changing rooms and they were dirty - hair on the floor, floors wet through, funny smell. Overlooked this and just wanted to get into the spa. We entered the thermosuite, it was very empty and cold looking. There were all together 9 beds which were all taken the entire time we were in the spa, there was way more than 9 people in the spa so not everyone had somewhere to sit. The jacuzzi was broken, which didn’t bother us too much. The door which is sign posted to the sauna and steam room was locked, lots of people trying to go through it very confused. Asked a staff member who said we had to use the door on the opposite side and walk all the way round past the treatment rooms. Didn’t make sense as you could literally see the sauna and steam room from the locked door. The best part of the spa was probably the cold plunge and emotional shower. Went back to changing rooms to have a shower and the showers were filthy and smelled really bad. There is a swimming costume dryer which is quite good. We then sat in the bar area of the spa, we paid for 2 coffees and the machine didn’t work - manager came in and was basically taking the machine apart so we just asked for a refund. We walked over for our afternoon tea and when we got to the main hotel, there was a wedding. They had basically taken over the entire lobby and bar of the hotel and we had to walk through somebodies wedding with our normal clothes on feeling very awkward and out of place. Surely there is a seperate place for weddings away from the general public area, I’d be quite annoyed if it was my wedding and people were just walking through who weren’t invited. Went to our afternoon tea which was actually nice, waiters were nice enough and the food we got was good. The only other thing I would point out about the hotel, every time I went to the toilet - there were no lights on? We couldn’t find a switch in any of the toilets (spa bar & restaurant toilet) so everyone was using phone torches as a light to just use the toilet.. Me and my partner decided we probably won’t go back here!
