I was pleasantly surprised from the moment I arrived. The hotel is in the core scenic area, with great surrounding scenery. It is next to the most beautiful highway, and there are shuttle buses to other places. The service of housekeeper Xiao Yang and housekeeper Xiao Tang is very considerate and thoughtful. The soup pots for breakfast and dinner are delicious. The room has radiators, good bathing facilities, and a comfortable sleep. I would like to come back in winter if I have the chance.

Environment: The environment is super good and super film! There is a Ctrip member boss who upgraded the room for free. It should be noted that there is a wild luxury bed room with its own bathroom and toilet. The boss turned on the heating and electric blanket intimately before check-in, which was super warm!
Location: The location is very close to the back door of Fairy Mountain, it is super convenient to go to the Fairy Mountain lawn and the small train!
Hygiene: The newly opened overall facilities are very new, praise!

WWwdaxiaowangArriving in Chongqing from Shijiazhuang, our subsequent stay during this trip was at the Regent Hotel. Let me just say upfront, this review of the Regent reflects the genuine experience of my family and me.
The hotel's facilities are exceptionally comprehensive, and they truly think of everything for their guests. Even hair curlers are available, and they can provide retainer cases and contact lens care supplies. We hadn't brought contact lenses due to travel inconvenience, nor had I brought my retainer, but honestly, staying at the Regent, you truly don't need to worry about such small details. Speaking of facilities, the hotel offers a swimming pool, a bar, Chinese and Western restaurants, kids' DIY activities, and much more.
Despite being a nine-year-old hotel, it is immaculately clean and well-maintained. The overall ambiance and design are very stylish and perfectly complement Chongqing's local culture and charm, with excellent attention to detail.
But above all, it was the service that truly stood out and was the primary reason I chose the Regent. I experienced the hotel's exceptional service two days before check-in, when they proactively inquired about our room preferences and requirements, even offering a choice of pillows. Upon arrival at the hotel, a dedicated staff member was there to open the car door, and our luggage was promptly taken care of by another staff member. During check-in, we were even presented with thoughtful and exquisite children's gift sets. While waiting in the lounge, a warm and welcoming staff member offered us drinks. After a brief respite, we entered our room to find it meticulously prepared for us, including the arrangement of latex and buckwheat pillows. The mattress was a KingKoil, and while the sleeping experience, though excellent, was perhaps a tad less perfect than our premium mattress at home, it was still very good. The toilet was a TOTO with a Washlet, and as someone who's had experience with TOTO products, I was thoroughly impressed.
The staff members were all very enthusiastic and patiently answered and handled any questions or requests. Daily housekeeping and turndown service were provided, ensuring the room was spotless, tidy, and created a wonderfully inviting ambiance. Thoughtful touches like glasses cleaning cloths, weather cards, cable ties, premium bath amenities, and even handling of laundry were all impeccable. The staff at the DIY area, swimming pool, Two Rivers Bar, and dining areas were all exceptionally good. My son was right at the 1.2-meter height threshold, yet they didn't charge for his meals.
The hotel gifted us Chongqing noodles as a souvenir, and we were even allowed to keep the room key cards as a memento. They also gave us dessert vouchers, and we received beautifully packed desserts to enjoy on our journey home. My sincere gratitude once again to every single staff member.
Well, I'll stop here; there are simply too many thoughtful details to list them all. This hotel truly sets a benchmark that many others should aspire to!

I used to work for a 5 star hotel, and I could tell that this hotel definitely have a lot of potential to be an excellent one!
Hotel is very near JieFangBei and Hongyadong (as stated in the name), and have stunning views of the bridge and Chongqing Raffles City!
A lot of food stores and food carts alongside and opposite the hotel, 2 convenient stores downstairs, and 2 different Light Rail stations both 5mins walking distance from hotel.
Perhaps the hotel is too new, and some staff don't seem like they are well trained to handle guests.
Staff spoke minimal English, but we messaged and conversed in Mandarin / Chinese before and throughout my stay.
Prior to my arrival, staff were really helpful with my Taobao orders and they assisted to keep aside until I arrived at the hotel. They even assisted with my questions through Trip.com messaging promptly!
Upon arrival at around 2:00+am, my driver couldn't locate the hotel, as the hotel is tucked away in an alley and couldn't turn in due to the food carts that are parked along the alley in the evening. Driver called the hotel to direct him but I could hear that he was quite frustrated with the staff that he was speaking to. Perhaps they were not helpful and my driver had to drop me off by the road just before the alley.
No warmth from the check-in staff upon arrival at 2+am, but I was checked-in swiftly and given a room with a beautiful view (that I only got to see when I woke up)!
I also asked the staff about collecting my Taobao and he gestured me to the floor and told me to search for my own packages from the floor. There's was literally no guests in the lobby.
I went down to my room to settle my luggages and bag before heading back up to collect my orders by hand with a large recycle bag.
Only the next day evening, I realised the staff could have done so much more for me. Another staff was so kind. He helped me find my parcels (I had about 7 items) and he even offered to use the robot to help with delivering all the parcels to my room so that I didn't had to carry them.
Room (with smart room system) is amazing, little dust but nothing extreme.
I did mentioned to the staff that the room was a little warm but they said that it was due to winter arriving, and the hotel adjusted the Aircon for winter.
I really love the view! Room was spacious enough for me to open up my luggages and I also love that the legs of the bed frame is designed to be slanted inwards. This design saved my feets so many times from accidentally kicking the bed frame. Comfy bed with clean bedding and towels. Sound proofing was not too bad too.
Hopefully management can keep up with the maintenance of the hotel and rooms!
They had welcome drinks throughout daytime, and served complimentary porridge and evening sweet soup from 8-11pm.
Upon check-out, the reception was able to keep my luggage for me until late at night because I had a midnight flight home.
Really grateful to all the staff that assisted me with the finding of locations around Chongqing!
I also suggested to a staff that they should consider investing in a luggage scale for guests too. Many of us shop in China and would prefer to know our luggage weight, so that we can repack in the lobby before heading to the airport.
When I was there in early November, the music bar and barbeque restaurant have not opened. Heard that it'll open during new year, and I look forward to visit them when I'm back!
I want to give them 5 stars the next time I come back to this hotel!

Very friendly maids and front desk staff. I would stay here again phenomenal view from our room of raffles city and about 1 million other buildings. Hotel lobby is on 21st floor.
We actually stayed in 2 different rooms at the same hotel and switching to the second was seamless and easy. Loved the staff here!

Seriously, who understands this feeling?! I stayed at a high-rise hotel in Chongqing where romance was practically *welded* into the room!
As soon as I opened the door, I was speechless:
✅ 270° floor-to-ceiling windows + high-altitude night view: I could lie in bed and watch Chongqing's dazzling lights. The moment the city lit up at dusk was so beautiful it made me want to scream!
✅ The window-side bathtub is genius: Soaking in the tub while enjoying the night view, the ambiance is just off the charts (the hotel even thoughtfully provided bath bombs!).
✅ Details that hit different: Instagrammable soft furnishings + floating bed + niche aromatherapy, even the toiletries came in luxurious packaging.
✅ The art installations in the public area are super photogenic, any pose you strike turns into a great shot.
After a whole day of exploring Chongqing, coming back to soak in a bath and relax by the window watching the night view – *that's* the charm of the Fog City~ (They even gave Chongqing hotpot seasoning as a souvenir!!!)

It's also very close to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong. Transportation is super convenient with a subway entrance right at the doorstep, and there are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. The room was spacious and bright, with complete facilities. The bedding, in particular, was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The staff were warm and friendly, making us feel right at home. It offers great value for money, and I would definitely choose to stay here again next time.

Due to the proximity to the walking street, I could still hear the bustling street noise at my room. Fortunately all of these goes away after midnight. GGuest UserThis hotel stay was fantastic! The room was incredibly well-equipped, featuring a fancy smart toilet that made bathroom breaks super comfortable. The TV was a massive screen, perfect for binge-watching. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and the shower head provided strong, even water flow. Plus, there was a fridge to chill drinks – having one at night was just delightful. With these amenities, I'll definitely choose this place again next time!

CcrystalxxlThe supervisor and the receptionist at check-in assigned us to the 16th floor, which had a great view outside the window – very satisfying. It's very close to Jiefangbei, and Hongyadong is right next door. I'd definitely stay here again if I have the chance.
However, the front desk didn't proactively offer the fridge magnet for leaving a review when checking out. I only saw others getting them and had to ask for one, which they reluctantly gave. Considering we stayed three nights and had two kids with us, it would have been much better to generously offer two. That would have significantly improved the customer experience.

The service provided by the hotel staff was the initial highlight of this wonderful experience. The front desk and concierge teams, in particular, greeted us with such warmth and proactiveness, instantly easing any apprehension a traveler might feel upon arriving in an unfamiliar city. During check-in, the front desk staff patiently and thoroughly explained the hotel's facilities and surrounding attractions, even recommending niche yet authentic Chongqing eateries based on our travel preferences. The concierge team truly acted as 'walking Chongqing guides.' One young lady proactively offered to help us with our large luggage, and they were always quick to respond to our needs, making every guest feel like family with their professionalism and enthusiasm.
Its excellent location is another core advantage of the hotel, a true paradigm of 'worry-free travel.' Situated in the heart of a bustling commercial district, the hotel boasts an extensive transportation network, allowing easy access to popular attractions like Hongyadong and Jiefangbei via light rail, saving travelers the hassle of long commutes. What's even more surprising is that the vibrant Wanda Plaza is right downstairs, and Tianjie and Xiecheng Starlight Plaza are just a short walk away – with three major commercial centers surrounding the hotel, it's as if a 'shopping paradise' and 'food haven' have been brought right to your doorstep. If you want to experience authentic Chongqing flavors, the commercial area is home to various specialty restaurants offering hotpot, small noodles, and Jianghu dishes. The hotel boasts convenient transportation, perfectly avoiding the traffic restrictions of the bustling downtown area. The room itself is very spacious, and the washer/dryer combo along with the kitchen facilities are excellent. The breakfast is quite varied. I would definitely recommend this to friends.
