The Le Méridien Chongqing, Nanchuan is truly fantastic, highly recommended! The hotel's location is superb, right in the Nanchuan business district. The Nanchuan Station of Metro Line 3 is just 100 meters from the entrance, making transportation incredibly convenient. It's super easy to get to popular attractions like Jiefangbei and Hongyadong, or to simply shop and dine around the area. The hotel's decor exudes an artistic ambiance; you can feel the high-end sophistication the moment you step into the lobby. The room design is also very distinctive, with Chongqing-themed art paintings on the walls that are a delight to behold, and the use of geometric lines adds a touch of modernity. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and the mattress is just right – not too soft, not too hard – ensuring a very pleasant sleep. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, plus an extra-large rain shower, making for an excellent bathing experience. The hotel's service is absolutely impeccable. The front desk staff are warm and friendly, and check-in and check-out procedures were handled quickly and efficiently. In short, whether it's the location, environment, service, or facilities, the Le Méridien Chongqing, Nanchuan is outstanding. It was a very pleasant stay, so much so that I extended it for another night. Highly recommended! [Strong]

The room facilities are quite new, and the hygiene is good. The view from this room type feels a bit mediocre. At night, the surrounding high-rise buildings aren't very lit up, so it's not as scenic as the views in Yuzhong or Jiangbei. A plus is that the area isn't very congested, making it car-friendly. Service-wise, it felt a bit lacking. Some staff members were good, others not so much. Information flow between departments was poor, and responses were slow; it didn't feel like a cohesive team. Breakfast offered no highlights considering the brand's positioning. The cost might have been considerable, but it didn't reflect value, and there were no memorable individual items. Among the four major hotel groups, I've stayed at Hilton the least. This was my first time at a Conrad, and overall, as Hilton's ultra-luxury brand, I feel that compared to similarly tiered hotels from the other three major groups, all aspects of the experience were subpar, especially the service, which has significant room for improvement. This became even clearer after my stay at another hotel in Chongqing.

This time I booked this hotel with my friends and I am really super satisfied! The hotel is located in a business building in Nanping Wanda Plaza. The location is relatively easy to find, but parking can only be done in the paid parking lot of the mall, and the fee is reasonable! The first impression of the room is that it is clean, the layout is simple and grand, with large windows, built-in bay windows and sofa cushions. It is the cheapest room type, but it is very good in terms of area and layout. Compared with many hotels, it is very good! The shower supplies and toiletries in the room are very complete, suitable for gamers and business travelers. The small refrigerator in the room is equipped with snacks and drinks, which is very nice. Although the computer configuration is not high-end, it is OK to play games normally, very smooth, and there is no jamming! Oh, by the way, the hotel also provides free laundry service, which is really too convenient. Overall, I am very satisfied

The location is really convenient for visiting Jiaotong University. It's right at the door and the subway is also here. It was really convenient to do some laundry on the way there on a hot day. The room is also quite big. I recommend it.

My friend and I had an amazing stay at this hotel, I’ve been in China for several years and this is definitely one of the very best I’ve stayed in. From the get go the staff was excellent, especially Hebe from reception who checked us in and gave both my friend and I an upgrade when it turned out his room had a strong smell of cigarette. She was particularly polite and friendly throughout our stay, and we were impressed with the rest of the staff too. The rooms look great, as good as they do on the pictures, and they are spacious and comfortable. Mattresses are of western standard. The location is also excellent, very close to most attractions in the city, and only about 30 minutes from the airport. There is also a Lawson convenience store next door to the hotel, and you can order food deliveries to your door from *******. Last but not least, the price is very reasonable for the value you get! I would definitely stay there again on future visits to Chongqing.

I had initially planned to stay at a hotel near Jiefangbei, but after checking out numerous options, I was quite disappointed, primarily due to cleanliness concerns. Thankfully, I stumbled upon this hotel. Opened in 2024, it boasts an excellent environment. For just over 500 RMB, getting a spacious lake view king room of this quality was truly impressive. I stayed for 4 nights and was extremely satisfied. I must commend the Jinhui brand. Even before checking in, I received a call from hotel staff, inquiring about my accommodation preferences and estimated arrival time. Upon arrival, a welcome fruit platter was already arranged, and they made every effort to ensure I felt at home. Thank you for your thoughtful arrangements; they were incredibly accommodating throughout my stay, always going the extra mile to fulfill requests. I'm so glad I didn't end up staying near Jiefangbei; not only is getting around a hassle there, but you also get woken up by constant noise. If your budget permits, I highly recommend this hotel. Taxis are incredibly convenient, and combining taxi and subway travel works out perfectly!

My stay at this five-star hotel in Chongqing was absolutely fantastic! Miya at the front desk was incredibly efficient during check-in, had a wonderfully warm smile, and even proactively offered recommendations for local attractions – so thoughtful! The room itself was beyond compare – spacious, bright, well-appointed, and impeccably clean. The bedding was supremely comfortable, allowing me to sleep soundly until I woke up naturally, completely undisturbed by any traffic noise. Breakfast offered an incredibly extensive selection, including local specialty snacks and a great mix of Chinese and Western dishes. Everything tasted fantastic. Starting my day feeling full and satisfied was truly wonderful. I also tried out the hotel's swimming pool and gym. Both were spotless and well-maintained, with all the necessary equipment. I felt completely refreshed after my workout. Upon check-out, the bellhop proactively helped me with my luggage to the entrance – truly exceptional attention to detail throughout my stay. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Chongqing. Highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip there!

The hotel is cozy and eco-friendly, with new and clean rooms. The mattress was comfortable, neither too firm nor too soft. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming; they even proactively offered us bottled water when they noticed we were warm. It's conveniently located right next to Wanda Plaza, making dining and entertainment easily accessible. Plus, there's a huge foot spa right downstairs – a great option to unwind with a foot soak if you have some downtime.

Traveling solo to Chongqing, I once again chose the chain luxury hotel, Kempinski. During check-in, I mentioned to the front desk that I hoped to have a view of the Mountain City. The front desk kindly arranged a high-floor room for me with mountain views and a glimpse of the river. Although the decor is a bit dated, it still maintains a five-star standard, and the price is reasonable. I particularly want to praise the hotel's mattress and pillows; they're quite similar to Westin's Heavenly Bed, ensuring a great night's sleep that leaves you refreshed for the next day. The hotel is located in Nan'an, which isn't as overly commercialized as Yuzhong District. Plus, there are many excellent hotpot restaurants right next to the hotel. Getting around by taxi is easy, and thankfully, taxi fares in Chongqing are quite reasonable. The turndown service was very thoughtful; they even specially filled the ice bucket with ice. My only minor gripe is that, aside from the complimentary bottled water, everything else in the room comes with a price tag, giving the impression that the room itself is a showroom for sale.
