Thanks for the upgrade to a Cloud-level River View Room with a Window-Side Bathtub! **Facilities:** The Conrad Chongqing is a brand new hotel, and its facilities are pristine and tastefully designed. As a high-rise hotel, most guest rooms are located on the 40th to 50th floors, offering stunning views. The sky lobby on the 52nd floor features a sophisticated black, white, and grey marble palette, complemented by botanical-themed wallpaper. It somehow reminded me of the Waldorf Astoria Chengdu. The ground floor arrival lobby has a cute bear-themed photo spot, adorned with numerous tropical floral arrangements. It suffers from the common high-rise hotel drawback: you need to take an elevator to the main lobby, then transfer to another one for the guest rooms. And the elevators aren't particularly fast. The room layout is excellent, featuring a separate walk-in closet. The bathroom has a clever sliding door behind the mirror that, when opened, offers views of the main room and the floor-to-ceiling windows. The room's decor predominantly features patterned marble and black-and-white walls, upholding Conrad's signature luxurious and sophisticated aesthetic. This particular room type faces north, overlooking a cluster of high-rises below, though the view towards Chaotianmen is partially obstructed. On my first night, Chongqing experienced a thunderstorm. The dramatic thunder and lightning, occasionally illuminating the city from our high vantage point against the dark sky, created a truly unique atmosphere. Hotel staff mentioned that such weather is quite rare for Chongqing. It's worth noting that the bathtub is embedded in a marble surround (as seen in picture 2). Personally, I think placing the tub directly by the window would have been more luxurious, allowing for a fully floor-to-ceiling window and an even broader view. The toilet paper supply in the room was a bit sparse, with only a single dispenser in the bathroom. Also, there was no liquid hand soap, only a bar of soap. While Conrad's Byredo amenities typically don't include liquid hand soap, I personally find its absence inconvenient. I can't recall if other Conrads in China are stocked differently. **Cleanliness:** Needless to say, as a brand new hotel, cleanliness was impeccable. **Environment/Location:** Located in Nan'an District, it's about a 10-15 minute taxi ride to attractions in Yuzhong. While this isn't far, for a hotel targeting tourists, direct walking access to key areas is always more convenient. There's no shortage of dining options nearby, as Chongqing is renowned for its incredible food scene. Nan'an District itself also boasts a few pleasant streets worth exploring. **Service:** Service was generally good. However, outside food deliveries aren't allowed to be brought up to the room, and there's no way to heat food. Otherwise, the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Back to school, I found a treasure hotel, located opposite Jiaotong University. All the staff from check-in to check-out were very good. They patiently explained the garage and the surrounding places to play. The room was spacious and bright. The mattress was moderately hard and soft. The cleaning was very clean. It was a smart guest control of the whole house. Xiaodu helps you do everything, and you can watch movies for free. The breakfast is also very rich. There are also freshly cooked Chongqing noodles. The taste is very authentic. The surrounding transportation is convenient. 100 meters from the hotel is convenient for the light rail station. Recommend to everyone, will continue to live next time.

The room size and hygiene are excellent. The best thing is that you can wash three pieces of clothes every day. The refrigerator has 5 brands of drinks, which is also great. The breakfast is rich in variety and tastes good. The complaints are that the hot water is unstable, and it is very uncomfortable to take a shower, and the welcome fruit is too sloppy. Also, living in the neighborhood, there was a constant barking of dogs in the middle of the night on the first night, which made me unable to sleep all night. The housekeeper also said that there was an assessment, which was a disguised kidnapping of guests to give a 5-point praise, which made me uncomfortable

I came to Chongqing specifically for the marathon. The hotel had a fantastic promotion for marathon runners: breakfast for just 1 yuan (original price 79 yuan) upon showing valid race proof. This was incredibly good value. The room was a good size. Charon thoughtfully assigned us a high-floor room, and the entire check-in process was quick, friendly, and made us feel very comfortable. The room was perfectly sized, and the cleanliness was impeccable. During our extended stay, the housekeeping staff met all our requests, even changing the sheets, duvet covers, and pillowcases. The air conditioner in the room made a slight noise, but it didn't disturb our sleep. Hot water in the bathroom was quick to arrive, and the hairdryer was new. I found out the hotel only opened last September, and commendably, there was no 'new hotel smell' in the room. It's considered a good value-for-money hotel near Jiefangbei, though it's actually a bit closer to Binjiang Road. Both the 24-hour laundry room and gym on the 27th floor are accessible with a room card. It seemed there weren't many guests during my two-day stay; the laundry room had three washer-dryer units, all unused when I checked. The gym isn't huge, but it has enough equipment for a decent workout. Perhaps due to being a new hotel, all facilities, both in-room and public, are comprehensive and in excellent condition. The breakfast spread was also decent, but I'll keep it brief. Overall, I stayed for two days with absolutely no complaints; it was excellent. If I return for the Chongqing Marathon in the future, this will definitely be my first choice. No regrets about staying here for this year's Chongqing Marathon!

What's truly unique is how you step out into ancient charm, yet just a few steps further reveal a thriving modern metropolis. Upon check-in, I was even upgraded to a wonderfully spacious room. There was no noise, only the pleasant chirping of birds. Opening the window, I was greeted by the sight of ginkgo trees, which was incredibly soothing and relaxing. The room's style was both rustic and elegant, and I particularly loved its traditional Chinese aesthetic. On evenings when I returned late from sightseeing, the hotel staff were incredibly thoughtful, even helping to bring in my clothes so they wouldn't get wet from the rain. I truly can't thank them enough! This place doesn't feel like a typical Wanda chain hotel; it genuinely offers a sense of home. When it was hot outside, I would relax in my room, sipping tea, and my restless mind would find profound peace. I sincerely hope to stay here again on my next visit to Chongqing.

The room and the bathroom were very clean and very spacious. The hotel staff did everything to make me happy. The bed was large enough for a large person. There is no safe and there is no microwave in the room. The room was non-smoking but there were ashtrays next to the computer terminals, and there were cigarettes burn marks on the furniture. There was no smell of cigarettes in my room. There are 5 elevators. The Elevators can get very crowded. There is a RARA button in all the elevators, floor 19. The Nanping metro station is only 50 meters from the hotel. There is a large supermarket in the basement of the shopping mall under the hotel with plenty of good fresh made food like sandwiches and sushi. On the floors under the supermarket there is a KFC and a McDonalds. A taxi ride to the airport T3, at 5 in the morning, was 70 yuan. There are plenty of taxis at the road past Le Meridian hotel. The hotel is cozy and eco-friendly, with new and clean rooms. The mattress was comfortable, neither too firm nor too soft. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming; they even proactively offered us bottled water when they noticed we were warm. It's conveniently located right next to Wanda Plaza, making dining and entertainment easily accessible. Plus, there's a huge foot spa right downstairs – a great option to unwind with a foot soak if you have some downtime.

Even the complimentary souvenir they gave us was adorable! A major highlight: their 4-person family room is actually two connecting rooms, with one being a suite – the value for money is just incredible!!! **Facilities:** Although the hotel was built in 2012, it's exceptionally well-maintained. **Cleanliness:** The housekeeping staff were incredibly friendly, and our room was spotless. **Location:** It's super close to the competition venue, which meant we could sleep in a lot longer!
