MM426518****During my stay, I found cockroaches in my room that night and immediately notified the hotel front desk. Considering the late hour, I requested an extermination treatment the next day, which they agreed to. The next day, they called back and asked to address the situation. Here's how they handled it: 1. I said they'd be willing to exterminate the room, but they said it wouldn't be practical to exterminate while I was there, and that they'd have to wait until after my stay. I understood and said, ”Okay.” 2. They then offered to switch rooms. I said, ”Okay,” and that I'd like a window facing the hotel courtyard, as my current room faces the park behind, with trees and other things, which might be a factor in the cockroaches. They agreed, and asked me to look at the room types. They said the rooms closest to ours were occupied and couldn't be changed. After mentioning several rooms, I said, ”No need to switch, we'll just stay in this one.” They gave us a fruit plate that day, and a gift of fried dough twists and broad beans when we left. I actually thought their service was pretty good throughout the entire process, and I even made a return visit. But what upset me was that after I left, the hotel front desk called me four or five times within a single day, asking me to leave a positive review. Honestly, in this situation, it's a fait accompli. It's already a good thing I didn't write a review, so how could they have the nerve to ask for a positive review? The most outrageous thing is that afterward, I didn't answer the phone, and they even contacted my family to report the situation. Isn't this a breach of my privacy? Where did they get my family's phone number? I hope the hotel will seriously reflect on their actions this time. Don't do something so inappropriate just to get a so-called positive review. I need a reasonable explanation for how they got my family's phone number.
