Milky Way Hotel (Chongqing Jiefangbei Center)

Hotel is near Linjiangmen metro station and Jiefangbei Square a convenient location to move around and to try local food. However room is to old decoration with separate hot and cold tap  not mixer type.

Good value for money. Clean, good location and helpful staff. Only downside is that the room i got smelled of tobaccoo smoke.

Location is excellent but staff are not so helpful.They denied to call taxi as well

The hotel is located very close to the Liberation Monument (Jiefangbei). I used the travel agent located beside the hotel lobby for two day tours and also 8 day tour arrangements for my next destination which is Chengdu.

The hotel is located in the city center. The main square is a 7-minute walk away. There are a lot of cafes and shops near the hotel. Even is a small beer bar on the next street. The hotel is large, the room is spacious. The window has a great view of the skyscrapers. The bathroom has a bathtub, not a shower stall. But not the best sound insulation: everything is very audible from the corridor. The breakfast is large and varied. There is a corner where noodles and wontons are cooked in front of you. But there is not normal coffee. Also, there are only round banquet tables in the dining area, it is not very convenient to have a seat. Tables are cleaned slowly, so it is difficult to find a place. The staff is very helpful. We were helped to connect Wi-Fi without a Chinese phone number.

Great location. Staff speaks little English but are helpful nonetheless.
