Everything is ok as per price but they transfer us to another hotel and also charged 25 RMB for room service which is not a good sign for this type of hotel.

Honestly fairly decent hotel in the central of Jiefangbei. Cleanliness does lack a little but overall not too bad for the price.

The cleanliness was nonexistent; there were cockroaches scurrying around the reception area. The room looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months, not to mention the carpet on the floor. The elevator didn't work to get down, so you had to take a flight of stairs that smelled like a toilet. The hotel hallways were filthy, with trash everywhere and strange dark areas. One day, a rotten bouquet of roses appeared with a pretty sign on it. It looked like a horror movie, honestly. I laugh now, but at the time, it was creepy. The location is the only positive thing about it; it's right in the city center. The staff always have a smile, although they don't go the extra mile. Washing machines are chargeable (it's more of a token fee), but keep in mind that the dryer doesn't work. The room was extremely hot and humid; there was no fan or air conditioning, and the window was a false window, so you couldn't air it out at all. It's a shame the hotel is in this condition because if it were clean and tidy, it would be a nice place, but it's horrible. Sorry for the blurry photos, I took a screenshot of a video I took when I arrived and it won't let me post the video.
