Chenhong Hotel (Jiefangbei Hongyadong Branch)

Place reeked of cigarette smoke, no windows and the ventilation in the rooms doesn’t remove the horrible smell. Cigarette smell comes from the air conditioning too, and it’s not cold enough. I couldn’t sleep and felt like I was suffocating so I had to upgrade my room to one with windows. After that the reception mixed up my room card and gave someone else my card, they came in while I was sleeping at 3am I almost had a heart attack… no reimbursement only gave me a drink to say sorry. The door cannot be latched so if someone has your room card they can just go in anytime. It’s cheap but absolutely not worth it, the only good thing is the location but there is nightlife around the area which is very loud until 3am every night. It woke me up many times so if you’re a light sleeper you won’t be able to get a good nights rest 😭

Great location! Near to MRT. But the down side is very noisy at night.
