Atlantica Akteon

We had a fantastic holiday at Atlantica Akteon. The hotel is spotlessly clean, and the staff create such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere – thank you to everyone who made our stay so enjoyable. The pool is a highlight, perfect for relaxing and wallowing in the sunshine. The only thing to note is that the hotel isn’t within walking distance of shops or attractions, so taxis or buses are needed to get around. And yes, the usual “sunbed wars” do happen, but it didn’t take away from our enjoyment. Overall, we had a really relaxing time and would like to thank the hotel team for looking after us so well. We’d happily return!

This is a well managed, friendly hotel with lovely staff. It is not a luxury hotel, nor does it pretend to be. What it offers it offers really well and having stayed at a number of ‘luxury’ hotels who do not have the basics right before trying to build on that, I very much appreciated this hotel. We had a really enjoyable, relaxing and carefree week, and I would recommend this hotel if that is what you are looking for! Huge positives (which are not always included with AI hotels in this price bracket): -unlimited bottled water (included) -air conditioning in both parts of room -daily towels with no charge -enough sun loungers and umbrellas for all -omelette station -Prosecco at breakfast -air conditioning in restaurant -lifeguards -covered baby pool -12noon checkout -free ice creams -hot food snack bar -manager, guest relations and entertainment manager visible (and available) around site throughout the day, every day - fridge in room (with ice box) - daily room clean/new towels - separate beds for children (rather than double pull down). -balcony/terrace -kitchen area -porter to help with luggage. Rooms- The rooms were great-mini apartments with separate bedroom and lounge area/children’s sleeping area. As above two beds for children (increasingly hard to find). Kitchen area, We had balcony with table and chairs, fridge, bath, hairdryer (not great), air conditioning (excellent), plugs next to bed. Table, good wardrobes. Some hooks/shelves would be helpful. Food- The al a carte restaurant was fantastic. Delicious food and good service. You have one meal here included when staying over 5 days. The main restaurant is good. Excellent salads, good desserts, meat station, and mix of rice/potatoes/pasta/stewed meat/ fish etc. The snack bar is excellent - pizza, nuggets, chips donuts etc, but also a fab range of salads and wraps (the tuna wrap was ridiculously delicious). Drink- AI - Local spirits. Keo on tap, cocktails, slushies, prosecco and iced coffees. Wine is not great. Premium spirits /bottled beers available for purchase. Pool- Clean, huge, busy. Inflatables permitted. 2 lifeguards. Separate baby pool and separate volleyball pool. Sunbeds available every day- with many still available into the afternoon. Entertainment - This is a very hard working team. They achieved a great balance of being inclusive without being pushy. The day time sports were fun (boules, volleyball, shuffleboard etc). Evening entertainment was mixed but the kid’s disco was inclusive (not babyish), and the bingo was good fun. Marina, Jasmine and Lilli, all extremely kind and welcoming. There are also a couple of pool tables, table tennis, and they show the UK football in the bar. Location- Very quiet area. Need to taxi to most places. Gorgeous views and about 35 mins from airport. Local days out - Leonardo Laura beach splash park - half day good value. 18 euro return in cab. Relamar bar- short walk down hill. Well worth a visit. Just opened. Hire a bed f

Wow what can I say . We’ve got back from an amazing holiday here . From start to finish it was brilliant . On arrival we had someone meet us at the entrance of the hotel who walked us down to the reception area to check in . Staff on the desk were lovely .there was sandwiches and refreshments on our arrival after a long day travelling . Room - was lovely and clean .we had a lovely sea view . Room cleaned everyday and fresh towels everyday . Pool area is brilliant plenty of sun beds and 3 pools . You can get towels for the pool and can change them as much as you like though out your stay . Food & drinks - food was lovely plenty to choose from . Different themed nights . Snack bar is brilliant and always plenty of food . Drinks are brilliant. Bar staff were lovely and polite . Entertainment - the entertainment team were brilliant . All staff were lovely and always spoke .we all got involved in different activities during the day at the pool .My daughter loved the mini disco , playing bingo and watching the shows . The fire show is amazing . Overall we had the best time and would definitely go back .

Just got back on Sunday from a week at the Atlantica Aktion, what an amazing week from start to finish. Where do I begin? The hotel is fantastic and very clean, rooms are cleaned daily and the staff are brilliant, always busy and always working with a smile on their face. The food was second to none, always a great variety of choice and different themes every night at dinner. The entertainment staff were top notch, always something going on for the adults and the kids. An absolute credit to the hotel. Will definitely be returning here at some point in the future, you’ve made our first family trip to Cyprus one which we will not forget for a long time to come. Currently on our last day here and as a family of 4 we have loved every minute. Hotel is spotlessly clean, including the rooms. Food is great at every meal time, plenty of choice, the salads are fantastic and the little lotus biscoff rolls are beautiful. Entertainment team also brilliant, great with the kids, and the entertainment manager is hilarious! All the staff can't do enough for you, reception team are very helpful and even given us a room to get ready before our flight tomorrow evening as we check out at 12. Already planning to come back next year.
