Don’t get me wrong, the hotel is lovely but they do not cater or worse, even care for guests with disabilities. We booked a garden suite as I am autistic and the suite has privacy with their own sun loungers. I paid extra for the room and don’t mind doing this at all so I can manage my challenges. On arrival, I was told we had been upgraded to an executive suite. I questioned this as I asked if it still have the privacy. I was told to try the room for one night and see how I got on. That was a no then! I said I would prefer the garden suite and was told they didn’t have any. So it’s not that I got a free upgrade, it’s that they have cocked up and given my room away. I was told there would be a garden suite available in the morning for us. I was told nothing could be done and to speak to the manager in the morning. The manager in the morning was less than interested and said nothing he could do and even worse, there was no garden suite available until the 3rd day of our holiday. I questioned this and said we were told the previous evening there would be one available in the morning. I got told I was lying. I explained about my disability and the need for quiet. It fell on deaf ears! Asked for money back and was told this was not possible as we had been given an upgrade for free. I said I haven’t asked for this upgrade and it’s not an upgrade since it doesn’t have a lot of the things I booked the garden suite for. I was then told they would send a complimentary platter and champagne to our room! I am all inclusive! It just gets worse! We are still here and our holiday rep is dealing with this now but avoid this hotel if you have disabilities, they don’t care less

2nd Visit to this hotel we arrived in the early hours of the morning same as last year, last year we were welcomed with a glass of champagne whilst we filled out the relevant forms and were then shown to our room by a porter, this year there was no champagne and no porter we were given directions by the chap on the desk and had to transport our own luggage after a long day of travelling finding your way can be a bit troublesome especially as the room numbers on the first floor can be a bit misleading, we had a good holiday but the welcome at the start although it didn't spoil our holiday it did have an impact on us, it just wasn't good enough

We came in 2024 & were thrilled by our time. We gave 5* & a glowing review. Not this time. The Cleanliness of the room was not good & never topped up the teas, coffees and bathroom bits. Entertainment was bad, except for the Elvis guy, he was good. Piped music around the hotel was loud and on an eternal loop which was irritating. Non guests kept taking the sunbeds & there were many young adults this time, drunk & loud. Our room was in a horrible place where the view was nasty & right above the Kitchens.

My partner and I recently returned from a fantastic 7 day break at this hotel. Our experience was excellent and there’s so much to mention! We were particularly impressed with how spotlessly clean and well kept everything was, as well as how comfortable we were (beds and rooms very comfortable, sunbeds very comfortable). On arrival we were pleasantly surprised to have been upgraded to a sea view room. The view from our balcony was gorgeous. We found the food was very good: lots of options. The buffets were excellent and the a la carts were also very good. Asian and Greek restaurants were our favourite, we didn’t think much to the Italian and the American grill was good but could be better - to be honest, we didn’t expect excellent a la carte in an all inclusive hotel but everything exceeded our expectations. We are a couple in our early 30s and found that the entertainment was a little ‘slow’ for us, but obviously everyone has their preference and there was certainly a few nice options of bars of an evening. The wine bar and coffee shop was a highlight for me. As for the location, a little out the way with not much around but the bus stops right outside the hotel and is very frequent and only 2 euros! It goes to coral beach which is gorgeous and well worth a beach day and also takes you to Tomb of Kings which connects you to Paphos. A big thing for me: food hygiene and quality. I am a bit of a worrier when I’m abroad about things like food poisoning but I had absolutely no worries here. Food is well cooked, I witnessed staff checking and changing dishes on the buffet regularly so things weren’t sat out, i also saw how spotless the buffets were cleaned down after service and as mentioned earlier, everything was spotless. Lastly, the staff were so kind and accommodating. We would definitely return having had such a wonderful time. Thank you!

Beautiful hotel with lovely facilities and food. The entertainment at night was our favourite part, Ciccio made sure everyone was involved and having fun - he deserves a pay rise 😊 the bar staff were all fantastic and very welcoming too. Highly recommend.

My wife and I have just returned from a superb ten day holiday at this hotel. As with any hotel, there are one or two negatives but these are massively outweighed by all of the positives. We have been looking for a new go-to hotel having had around eight visits to the Bahia Principe in Playa Paraiso Tenerife. Those who know this hotel will hopefully understand my thoughts of wanting to shop around for somewhere new as it is in need of a refurbishment amongst other things. Back to the St George Hotel and Spa….a wonderfully situated hotel some four miles out of Paphos but within very easy reach by the 615 bus and then the 611 if you want to go from one bus terminus to the other down at the harbour. It costs €2 from the stop on the main road above the hotel and this will take you to the Tomb of the Kings Bus Terminus. It’s an east one mile walk from here to the harbour which is stunning or you can catch that 611 bus instead. So, what’s so good about the hotel? The minute you walk through the front entrance you are met with a warm and friendly welcome. I don’t remember any member of the hotel team not being helpful or welcoming in some way. Everyone in the reception team is fantastic and I can only say a big thank you to Maria and Margarita but all the team behind the desk are amazing. There are staff in every part of the hotel that go above and beyond and again I can name Anish who looked after us in the upper pool bar, Vlada who looked after us in the main bar and Ioanna whose knowledge of the wines in the wine bar and her exceptional attention to detail are of particular note. These three are just three from many who make the hotel tick and there are others in the A La Carte restaurants who are just exceptional at what they do. The restaurant manager is also to be thanked for his constant smile and close attention to everyone in the main restaurant. Be it last thing at night or first thing in the morning, the staff just work tirelessly to keep the guests happy. I’m just going to get my niggle out of the way so I can then continue with all the positivity about the hotel. Many people may be able to relate to this from other buffet style restaurants around the world but just about my only real negative was with the temperature of the food in the main restaurant and the lack of hot plates to coincide with this. I do like my food hot and I do like a hot plate to put it on and both of these are not in abundance in the main restaurant. The hot plate thing is easily remedied and for some reason the hot food is served up in dishes with lids giving the impression that it’s piping hot but it certainly is not. That’s pretty much my niggle out of the way and hopefully something that the managers can address. Positives….. No kids!! What a difference being able to enjoy your holiday without kids screaming or running around whilst parents leave them to do it. Enough said. A chilled and relaxed atmosphere with so man

We have recently returned home. We had a lovely relaxing holiday and wanted to write an accurate review. Having entered our hotel room we were surprised to see an interconnecting door (didn't see this on any hotel literature). Initially not too bothered, but we hardly slept our first night due to the lady next door coughing and spluttering all night, it felt like the woman was in the room with us. We spoke to reception the following morning and they moved us to another room. It did still have an interconnecting door, but we had quieter neighbours. Housekeeping mostly good. Nice fluffy white towels, a robe and slippers! Toiletries ok, a shower cap would be a nice addition, perhaps instead of the shoe shine kit. Food - breakfast and lunch good. We were disappointed with the evening food. The quality was not as good as what we had for lunch. The Asian restaurant was great, Route 66 was good. Unfortunately the Greek and Italian restaurants were not open in the evenings as it was April. One evening the main restaurant was extremely busy and the noise was horrendous. We were taken to a table and my place mat was food stained. I turned the mat over and it was dirty on the other side too. The meal choice was not very good this particular evening and the combination of these things really disappointed me. We were led to believe there was a dress code for the evening restaurant and we were surprised some guests were not asked to return to their rooms and change into something more appropriate. The inside cafe was great, lovely cakes and a teapot used for a good cup of tea. Drinks - some good cocktails. Some branded spirits available if you asked for them. The wine bar was fabulous, a great selection of wine. The lounge area lovely and outside terrace fabulous - great for the sunset. The hotel has good quality furnishings, lovely seating areas and lots of space to just sit and relax. Entertainment - we enjoyed the tribute acts. The duo singers in the upstairs bar were far too similar, it felt like the same songs were sung every night, just a different singer. The indoor pool was nice, a shame the steam room wasn't working. The indoor jacuzzi didn't look very appealing. Sunbed allocation brilliant. We enjoyed the coastal walk to Paphos. We asked about hiring bikes and were told it was 10 euros each for the day. We felt this was expensive as we only wanted the bikes for a few hours. Perhaps the hotel could consider a half day price? We had a late flight home and checked out of our room at noon. We were told we could use the showers and changing cubicle in the spa at the end of the day, this was not ideal as it was very cramped. There was no hairdryer and you had to use your pool towel. Other hotels we have stayed in have provided a room for you to book to shower and get dressed in. There are so many good things about this hotel and maybe some of the things mentioned above may be actioned in time. Would we return - yes. In fact we have just
