We have recently returned home. We had a lovely relaxing holiday and wanted to write an accurate review. Having entered our hotel room we were surprised to see an interconnecting door (didn't see this on any hotel literature). Initially not too bothered, but we hardly slept our first night due to the lady next door coughing and spluttering all night, it felt like the woman was in the room with us. We spoke to reception the following morning and they moved us to another room. It did still have an interconnecting door, but we had quieter neighbours. Housekeeping mostly good. Nice fluffy white towels, a robe and slippers! Toiletries ok, a shower cap would be a nice addition, perhaps instead of the shoe shine kit. Food - breakfast and lunch good. We were disappointed with the evening food. The quality was not as good as what we had for lunch. The Asian restaurant was great, Route 66 was good. Unfortunately the Greek and Italian restaurants were not open in the evenings as it was April. One evening the main restaurant was extremely busy and the noise was horrendous. We were taken to a table and my place mat was food stained. I turned the mat over and it was dirty on the other side too. The meal choice was not very good this particular evening and the combination of these things really disappointed me. We were led to believe there was a dress code for the evening restaurant and we were surprised some guests were not asked to return to their rooms and change into something more appropriate. The inside cafe was great, lovely cakes and a teapot used for a good cup of tea. Drinks - some good cocktails. Some branded spirits available if you asked for them. The wine bar was fabulous, a great selection of wine. The lounge area lovely and outside terrace fabulous - great for the sunset. The hotel has good quality furnishings, lovely seating areas and lots of space to just sit and relax. Entertainment - we enjoyed the tribute acts. The duo singers in the upstairs bar were far too similar, it felt like the same songs were sung every night, just a different singer. The indoor pool was nice, a shame the steam room wasn't working. The indoor jacuzzi didn't look very appealing. Sunbed allocation brilliant. We enjoyed the coastal walk to Paphos. We asked about hiring bikes and were told it was 10 euros each for the day. We felt this was expensive as we only wanted the bikes for a few hours. Perhaps the hotel could consider a half day price? We had a late flight home and checked out of our room at noon. We were told we could use the showers and changing cubicle in the spa at the end of the day, this was not ideal as it was very cramped. There was no hairdryer and you had to use your pool towel. Other hotels we have stayed in have provided a room for you to book to shower and get dressed in. There are so many good things about this hotel and maybe some of the things mentioned above may be actioned in time. Would we return - yes. In fact we have just
